I 100% agree, nick is one of thos epeople that isnt as popular as it should be cus people only watch the main shiw, but for those who have seen ftwd nick is the best
He's an interesting character. A drug addict, the kind of person that most people wouldn't pay attention or just disregard him, but he surprisingly makes it far into the apocalypse, and is quite smart. He isn't a simple dumb junkie and that's why i think he's the best character of FTWD
@@theohuntt I enjoyed the storyline with Virginia and I find Morgans issues (bipolar I assume) to be super interesting to witness. But otherwise anything past season 3 is just eh :(
I wish the original writer could make a comic with the same characters and write out the story how he had planned it. Obviously a non profit thing because the rights are held by amc
Like i wrote in a reply, he's an interesting character. A drug addict, the type of person that most people wouldn't even look or just disregard as trash. But he's surprisingly smart and resourceful, not to mention that he survived situations in which even "normal" people wouldn't have survived. If anything he's the representation of "never judge a book by it's cover" and i find it quite symbolic how it took a zombie apocalypse for him to open his eyes and become different. Be someone else. He's the best character of FTWD imo.
@@tonyblondetto i always hated fucking Morgan. Most annoying character. I hated the slow tone that the actor uses and his entire arc about morality and what not. For me it's super out of place.
@@theohuntt I studied this brain chemical for fun. essentially there’s the warrior gene where people lack dopamine so they typically turn into addicts, or suffer from concentration, showing up on time for themselves. This is there life under normal conditions, they don’t so well in coordinated life compared to regular people who don’t have this gene. So when shit hits the fan and it’s so chaotic these people typically adjust faster than normal people. Focus and solution solving is much faster cause life is now on the line for them. It’s a huge dopamine boost for them. Normal people are focused and calm during normal living vs when shit hits the fan. They exhausts themselves during these times have a harder time adjusting. Nick was normal in the wrong environment.
I feel like either Nick or Alicia had to die at some point for character development of the opposite sibling. But I will say that I thought Charlie's death was a pointless death for shock factor. her death didn't advance the plot in any way nor did it advance character development for anyone. she had in my eyes had her whole redemption arc and she was a likeable character. But nicks character was phenomenal the only other character even similar to him was bob. the only other character with an addiction/substance issue
Even tho one of them would probably need the character development the way they did it was terrible. It would have been more impactful if Nick died at the Dam or lasted a few more seasons then have it happen but the actor wanted to leave no one’s fault.
the first 3 Seasons were carried by Nick, Travis, and Troy in my opinion and the show had so much promise with the characters all for the different reasons. Sucks we lost them all (I know it was ultimately the actors' and writer's decision to kill them all off, I'm also aware Troy wasn't "technically" killed but we all know his coming back was BS) so early and the show quickly 180'd into the Morgan show.

Yeah he’s so underrated by the fan base it’s crazy, the guy is such a unique character like we have never seen a character like him :(

I’m so glad other people agree that nick was the best TWDu character. It’s so hard to recommend FTWD tho due to how it nosedives
I totally agree the first 3 seasons of FTWD Genuinely rival the main show in terms of quality however after that it just falls of a cliff :(

I really enjoyed the interactions between him and Troy. I wish the show had switched to make those 2 the main characters.
me too. they have chemistry.

Yeah that would be so cool I would pay so much money to read that. I was so excited to see the Nick Vs Maddison showdown:/
@@theohuntt Seriously man it would be peak twdu
Yea that would’ve been great
nick i feel is the character that deserved the main character role the mostt
Yeah 100% and it was originally going to be him until Dave Erickson was fired :/
Absolutely, as much as I love Alicia, Nick was just built different. Like Rick, he stood out from everyone else and would’ve been a fantastic leader.
please do a character study on another great from FTWD Troy Otto

Best character in Fear ever
Stopped watching the moment i knew he was off the show. The only good character about the show.
The guy that killed Carl got promoted and his first thing was scrap the story kill Madison add Morgan than killed nick

My second favorite character after carl
He’s my absolute favourite character in the whole walking dead universe!
@@theohuntt he's the only reason why I watched fear the walking dead
@@rakwraithraiser7315he’s a big reason the early seasons of FTWD are so good
Nick was so natural in this.
He was built for the apocalypse

My favorite fear character and insanely underrated
Such a unique and intriguing character it’s a shame Frank wanted to leave the show :(

Hahahahah I hope you enjoyed it! :)
Nick STARTED THE SHOW LIKE RICK GRIMES ON TWD. STUPID DECISION.
I stopped watching full episodes of this show after he died and Travis died
What soundtracks did you use for all your character depth intros? They sound very beautiful and could use it over and over.
Another dumpster fire mess courtesy of Scott Pimple 😡
i don't know man
empathy for infected doesn't make him realistic nor liked
I’m not saying that but I’m saying his curiosity is extremely accurate to how the human brain actually works.
Happy Shopper James Dean. Next. Yawns
