Lizzie is either a necroscope or worse insane. She might have been a inkling of a new religion concerning the walking dead. I actually hoped it was an evolution of the reanimated dead to more brain function. Instead got the Whisperers.
I had never heard that theory before now, but I suddenly want it to be true. It doesn’t really make sense due to the location of Rick’s group at the time and the location of the Whisperers, but considering Morgan’s mention of people where dead people’s faces in season 3, it’s entirely possible the Whisperers or a group similar to them were in Georgia at some point around this time. Perhaps Morgan and Lizzie encountered the same Whisperer?
the biggest annoyance/spoiler for me was that the finale basically had no stakes because they had announced the spinoffs for Darryl, Carol, Maggie, and Negan which mean that there was no stakes of then dying at all during season 11
Facts and naming the show daryl dixon does the same thing for the whole show. Like never is there actually fear for him dying . Like man he looks like he is going to die but you already know he will put his superman cape on to continue the show . 🤷♂️
the fact that Rosita's actor, Christian had to ask for her character to be killed to add a bit more stakes is ridiculous. Announcing all the spin-offs before the finale killed all the hype.
Personally I find it disrespectful that the finale wasn't even the ending of the show and instead was an ad for spin off shows. Literally millions of viewers stopped watching the show throughout the years due to stupid writing decisions and that's how they repay fans that stayed? No way. I stopped watching after Glens deaths and I have no regrets. Now I watch UA-cam videos to see what happened over the last few years.

Back when twd used to have the website where you'd follow along with the episode and it would have facts and trivia about the episode, you could swipe the slide in a specific way on mobile devices where you could see what the next slide would be. I disagree, Carl didn't necessarily die for Sadiq he died showing that helping others was still possible, this set up Negan being spared. Carl dying just showed that nobody was safe, sure you can be kind and save others but it isn't a ticket to immortality.
You mentioned how, if The Walking Dead is viewed as a metaphor for human history, that the Wildfire Virus could represent the Black Death. Interestingly enough, in the first season of Daryl Dixon, Daryl & co travel through the catacombs of the skeletons of the Black Death’s victims. I think that’s a nice touch.

Great video, perhaps a video idea could be about removed content like things not being shot, for example, the place that Daryl and Beth go to, that cemetary house, we were supposed to see the owner and how he died, i think Nicotero talked about it on Talking Dead and that they just couldn't fit that in the episode, it might not be all canon, but i find these things so fascinating.

God, this was so good! I cleaned my whole house while listening to the video, lmao. Frank Darabont's era was the best in terms of storytelling and attention to detail, I miss it so much. And it hurts thinking about the wasted potential of the latter seasons due to Scott Gimple's incompetence. The animation for red machete was amazing, the claimers part too, but the storyline of the father and daughters just sucked. Here in Brazil the episodes aired a day after USA, so we were always fighting spoilers, lol. Did you know that one of the songs for half moon was written by Emily Kinney?. Very nice seeing Ty Swell here, you're both amazing. Thanks for the great video!.

Norman tickling Andrew’s feet was only for one scene in Andrew’s final episode on the main show when he’s hallucinating himself laying in the hospital bed from the beginning of the series
I have a theory about Betha. In one scene his seen (alone) walking alongside an horde, and it seems he kind of hear words instead of the growling and moaning. My theory is that as a musician, he develope his hearing so much, he could actually understand the walking dead.
With The death of Rosita. you said if she didn’t die in the finale the last character deaths would have been villains other than Tara or Jesus. But I’d argue Luke’s death (sorry Jules) ya he’s a minor chiractor at the end but they played him up like to be a more main member of the group when he got introduced alongside Connie, Kelly, Yumiko and Magna who all arguebly went on to become relatively heavy hitters in the story in their own varying degrees. Luke even he even got a signature weapon at one point and his death was surprisingly quite painful to watch.
6:52 That car is what Walt buys for his son, not his wife. Skylar was HEAVILY against Walt getting that car for him lmao. There’s also a nod to TWD in the episode of BrBa where the car is introduced, someone involved with the sale of the car is named Glenn
Also the CRM was thé Philadelphia national guard but after a cival war with thé US military they became the CRM in the early days of the outbreak and in 2011 was when they became the civic republic of Philadelphia
Lizzie was just schizophrenic and heard and saw voices. If she truly thought they were people she wouldn’t have killed her sister. She would have understood SOME are people and some are monsters. She was just a girl who’s mind broke because she couldn’t comprehend the horror in the world.
I wish Dale lived to Season 11. And OMG I WISH TRAVIS AND NICK LIVED, when they have to write a character out why do they have to kill them?! They should have a chance to come back.
Nice vid, but I do wish you mentioned for which series there will be spoilers (title only mentions "The Walking Dead"). FYI for others, from what I've seen so far, SPOILERS for "Fear the walking dead", "The ones who live", although on the other hand, I don't think the creators themselves really cared about spoilers as there were tons of ads/images on imdb/etc showing which characters are still alive/which are the new main ones.
The whisperers weren't even an idea for the comics in season 3 Also lizzie was schizophrenic that explains the walkers talking Also it was confirmed in show that the whisperers formed around the all out war arc based on Lydia's age
Exactly, if they would let the show die it would be awesome to see a reboot in like 10 years where they use the comics and the other show to inform a retelling of the entire story (tightening up the end instead of these spin-offs lol, ending with their own version of the comic epilogue)
1:01 I think youre confusing two separate things for one singular event. Hershel wasnt supposed to die in Dale's place. Originally, Dale was gonna come across a gutted Jimmy before being attacked by a walker, instead of the gutted Cow. This was also planned side by side with Hershel being murdered by an Escaped Randall. Dale was ALWAYS going to die in Season 2 because Frank Darabont was FIRED. The other things were just scrapped ideas. I am so happy Glen Mazarra was fired. They shouldnt have let him taie over season 3 when these were his ideas in season 2.
Yes but my point is if Frank darabont wasn’t fired dale wouldn’t have been killed in season 2, it doesn’t matter what the storyline was. He was going to live until a lot later. But the plans were changed
Please please please bring all the characters back for the Walking Dead. I miss that show and I’m sure there are millions of other fans that would watch ❤
Wish you would've covered Qaletaqa Walker who goes completely missing after FTWD S3, which is so weird to me because he plays a big part in S3. would've like to see your thoughts on it.
According to the official timeline, the episode "Clear" takes place over 3 days and not several hours. The orange backpack sat for at least 2 days before our group picks it up.
They only visited Morgan for a couple of hours because Rick says the line “it’s getting dark we should get back to the prison” and the whole point of the episode is to get guns and crib for Judith to sleep in, the three of them all return the same day not a single night cycle is shown within the episode
What happened to Travis was heartbreaking. He was shot in the gut and it came out his neck cause walker was shooting up at the helicopter, he wasn’t shot twice
I like to think that while the shows are not connected. Events from breaking bad until the start of the apocalypse happen in the walking dead universe.
glenn and abraham’s death was spoiled by the Tobias actor at walker stalker NJ. he said “i heard negan kills glenn and abraham” and the people on the panel just looked at him like wtf and then he was never at a walker stalker again i believe
You missed another easter egg with Beta. Scene with Magna and Yumiko arguing at the top of the stairs at Hilltop. The album Magna is listening is Half Moon & Beta's real pic is on the cover.
I would love to be in charge of a comic that adapts the show Like take all the best parts of the OG comic and the AMC show and turn it into a new full color comic that messes with the timeline a lot Season 1 would’ve been mostly the same, maybe add more refined references to later seasons Season 2 would’ve happened MUCH differently, like fundamentally plot points would be moved around a lot but we would ultimately hit all of the same beats, the barn would’ve contained the notable Green walkers of the comic and emphasized their impact on Maggie and Beth (and another possible living Green sibling) while still keeping the Sophia reveal I may have even had Shane run off with Randall earlier on and actually take him up on going to his group (Shane is going to decide whether he kills them all to protect the group or stays there to keep them away and get away like he wanted to with Andrea, eventually they end up getting taken out by the herd that goes to the farm, Shane kills the worst guys in the group including Randall and escapes back to the farm where an equivalent of the season 2 finale would happen Dale and Jimmy don’t die, maybe add another red shirt or two that do Season 3: Jimmy or nobody dies in the opening instead of T-Dog, if Jimmy lives then kill him off later in a similar way to Otis dying in the comics T-Dog saves Carol but doesn’t sue, he gets separated and has a “Tyreese in the gym” moment like in the comics, while he’s gone all the stuff with the prisoners happens, Oscar and Axel live (maybe Tiny does too lol) and it’s revealed Oscar and T-Dog are brothers after they find T in the gym. They basically have a Merle/Daryl parallel, Daryl and T-Dog become Ricks right and left hand men, Glenn is like all of their younger brother. I have a bunch of other changes I would make to season 3 especially around Andrea’s character journey, maybe Dale dies to the sword instead of Hershel, this setting Andrea off to try and kill the governor sooner so we hate her less idk XD but my biggest grievance is with how they threw away T-Dog and Oscar’s potential as characters, both happened in the same season I think and they’ve always stood out in my head together… maybe T-Dog and Oscar get captured with Daryl instead of killed, T-Dog gets his hand cut off by the governor “getting a lick back for my boy Merle!” Eventually they all escape, maybe Oscar dies (but I prefer not, I would’ve loved if Oscar was there during the conversation with Merle and Hershel at the prison) Season 4?: I probably would’ve had Hershel die from the sickness going around. Then keep that Indian doctor alive and maybe change him into Siddiq idk I have less notes on how I would change the Terminus arc but it would change from the changes in character lineup (maybe there are multiple train cars full of victims at terminus instead of one and the escape plan is more complicated than just “Carol saves our asses” I’d make it so Beth doesn’t die at the hospital and that whole arc is much shorter or at least done better with hindsight Develop all their relationships a lot more in depth, Noah and Beth become an item, Maggie and Glenn treat him like a little brother in law, Daryl, T-Dog, Abe and Noah have some scenes together that show comradery because theyre super close with Glenn, etc. Have Holly be an actual character and die instead of Noah at the revolving door Noah and Beth are at the Negan lineup, Abraham gets batted first, Daryl punches, Noah gets batted second (I’ve tried throwing around different ideas instead of Abe but I just can’t see it! I want him to live longer tho!!) Beth then basically takes on Sasha’s arc from the show. Sash becomes the “Widow” but especially after Beth’s death, her and Maggie share a lot of storylines Tara and Jesus also get a lot of stuff together, maybe Tara, Jesus, and Heath successfully make contact with Oceanside and it all goes a lot differently since we don’t have to write Heaths actor out of a comic book XD I’m running out of steam on this comment YALL but you can tell I’ve put a lot of thought into it 💀 I really hate how they treated minority characters and their creative teams, especially Darabont and Kirkman, in earlier seasons
I got some steam back If I brought in Siddiq in Season 4 I would’ve had him live for a long time, maybe he goes with the group to Oceanside and gets them to start sailing again, then he comes back and gets separated from his group, one of his friends meets Carl and has that whole story, meanwhile Siddiq is doing other stuff You can give Siddiq the PTSD arc and have the Carl surrogate character live on, I liked how Siddiqs actor played that whole arc so I would love to retain it in some way but I also hate that the person who was helped Carl turn over a new leaf died in such an unrelated way…
Awh I thought this was going to be more of a where the shows shined and lived up to the hype and where it all went wrong and the choices that destroyed the franchise iceberg
Thanks for having me on man!
No worries bro I look forward to future collabs!

RIP John Bernecker
Such a tragedy RIP John :(
Also the CRM was thé Philadelphia national guard but after a cival war with thé US military they became the CRM in the early days of the outbreak and in 2011 was when they became the civic republic of Philadelphia
Yeah I was gutted when they both died it kind of ruined Fear for me :/
Nice vid, but I do wish you mentioned for which series there will be spoilers (title only mentions "The Walking Dead").
FYI for others, from what I've seen so far, SPOILERS for "Fear the walking dead", "The ones who live", although on the other hand, I don't think the creators themselves really cared about spoilers as there were tons of ads/images on imdb/etc showing which characters are still alive/which are the new main ones.
The whisperers weren't even an idea for the comics in season 3
Also lizzie was schizophrenic that explains the walkers talking
Also it was confirmed in show that the whisperers formed around the all out war arc based on Lydia's age
I know I was simply just relaying the fan theory in the iceberg I have a whole video on my channel talking about how it can’t be true
@@theohuntt Yea I know, I was just putting the info there because the amount of people that believe it is insane
Exactly, if they would let the show die it would be awesome to see a reboot in like 10 years where they use the comics and the other show to inform a retelling of the entire story (tightening up the end instead of these spin-offs lol, ending with their own version of the comic epilogue)
Sophia should’ve lived.
That initial episode would of been sick
As a kid who only watched the show and just earlier this year for my 17th bday got and finished the comics everything just feels so weird now
45:41 Nick was possibly my favorite character in the whole universe. Killed off to soon
I know so sad justice for Nick :(
The funny thing is that I only watch clips and explanations videos about TWD and not watch the series.
Hahah you probably know the whole storyline without ever seeing an episode
Ocean side is taken over by common wealth isn’t it? Isn’t that when Racheal sends Luke and Jules out to find help
Yes
The producers really need to make more episodes about the beginning of the outbreak. Thats what people want to see
What a SWELL video! Get it? Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge.
@@jxw457 😭😭😭😭
Wish you would've covered Qaletaqa Walker who goes completely missing after FTWD S3, which is so weird to me because he plays a big part in S3. would've like to see your thoughts on it.
I was thinking about covering him but I’ll be making another iceberg video soon so I’ll probably end up putting him in there:)
I loved Dale, we could have had both him and Hershel
I like the theory that Daniel Salazar from Fear met and got a cigar from Arbraham.
Eugene doesn’t have a cure he just says he knows the launch codes and could nuke the world to rid the zombies.
What a great video!!!!
Thanks man!
Rosita’s death isn’t one of the most emotional moments, smh come on.
I remember scrolling on FB and seeing the Beth Death spoiler. I was like, "Oh WTF! Seriously?!"😂
This is not something you just benchwatch great video got me stuck on it all the way
Thank you so much man! :)
frank darabont departure was sad. His S2 e1 would have been great
@@luc_theriault fr it would have been interesting to see the more advanced walkers over the seasons as well :/
I am earlyyyy great video👍
Thank you! :)
You missed another easter egg with Beta. Scene with Magna and Yumiko arguing at the top of the stairs at Hilltop. The album Magna is listening is Half Moon & Beta's real pic is on the cover.
Mandy finding the Machete in the ground, and it just so happens to be the same one is just dumb
I would love to be in charge of a comic that adapts the show
Like take all the best parts of the OG comic and the AMC show and turn it into a new full color comic that messes with the timeline a lot
Season 1 would’ve been mostly the same, maybe add more refined references to later seasons
Season 2 would’ve happened MUCH differently, like fundamentally plot points would be moved around a lot but we would ultimately hit all of the same beats, the barn would’ve contained the notable Green walkers of the comic and emphasized their impact on Maggie and Beth (and another possible living Green sibling) while still keeping the Sophia reveal
I may have even had Shane run off with Randall earlier on and actually take him up on going to his group (Shane is going to decide whether he kills them all to protect the group or stays there to keep them away and get away like he wanted to with Andrea, eventually they end up getting taken out by the herd that goes to the farm, Shane kills the worst guys in the group including Randall and escapes back to the farm where an equivalent of the season 2 finale would happen
Dale and Jimmy don’t die, maybe add another red shirt or two that do
Season 3: Jimmy or nobody dies in the opening instead of T-Dog, if Jimmy lives then kill him off later in a similar way to Otis dying in the comics
T-Dog saves Carol but doesn’t sue, he gets separated and has a “Tyreese in the gym” moment like in the comics, while he’s gone all the stuff with the prisoners happens, Oscar and Axel live (maybe Tiny does too lol) and it’s revealed Oscar and T-Dog are brothers after they find T in the gym. They basically have a Merle/Daryl parallel, Daryl and T-Dog become Ricks right and left hand men, Glenn is like all of their younger brother.
I have a bunch of other changes I would make to season 3 especially around Andrea’s character journey, maybe Dale dies to the sword instead of Hershel, this setting Andrea off to try and kill the governor sooner so we hate her less idk XD
but my biggest grievance is with how they threw away T-Dog and Oscar’s potential as characters, both happened in the same season I think and they’ve always stood out in my head together… maybe T-Dog and Oscar get captured with Daryl instead of killed, T-Dog gets his hand cut off by the governor “getting a lick back for my boy Merle!” Eventually they all escape, maybe Oscar dies (but I prefer not, I would’ve loved if Oscar was there during the conversation with Merle and Hershel at the prison)
Season 4?: I probably would’ve had Hershel die from the sickness going around. Then keep that Indian doctor alive and maybe change him into Siddiq idk
I have less notes on how I would change the Terminus arc but it would change from the changes in character lineup (maybe there are multiple train cars full of victims at terminus instead of one and the escape plan is more complicated than just “Carol saves our asses”
I’d make it so Beth doesn’t die at the hospital and that whole arc is much shorter or at least done better with hindsight
Develop all their relationships a lot more in depth, Noah and Beth become an item, Maggie and Glenn treat him like a little brother in law, Daryl, T-Dog, Abe and Noah have some scenes together that show comradery because theyre super close with Glenn, etc.
Have Holly be an actual character and die instead of Noah at the revolving door
Noah and Beth are at the Negan lineup, Abraham gets batted first, Daryl punches, Noah gets batted second (I’ve tried throwing around different ideas instead of Abe but I just can’t see it! I want him to live longer tho!!)
Beth then basically takes on Sasha’s arc from the show.
Sash becomes the “Widow” but especially after Beth’s death, her and Maggie share a lot of storylines
Tara and Jesus also get a lot of stuff together, maybe Tara, Jesus, and Heath successfully make contact with Oceanside and it all goes a lot differently since we don’t have to write Heaths actor out of a comic book XD
I’m running out of steam on this comment YALL but you can tell I’ve put a lot of thought into it 💀
I really hate how they treated minority characters and their creative teams, especially Darabont and Kirkman, in earlier seasons
I got some steam back
If I brought in Siddiq in Season 4 I would’ve had him live for a long time, maybe he goes with the group to Oceanside and gets them to start sailing again, then he comes back and gets separated from his group, one of his friends meets Carl and has that whole story, meanwhile Siddiq is doing other stuff
You can give Siddiq the PTSD arc and have the Carl surrogate character live on, I liked how Siddiqs actor played that whole arc so I would love to retain it in some way but I also hate that the person who was helped Carl turn over a new leaf died in such an unrelated way…
Awh I thought this was going to be more of a where the shows shined and lived up to the hype and where it all went wrong and the choices that destroyed the franchise iceberg
idk, Alpha wouldve definitely just asked for their names. plus didnt she let Siddiq go willingly? probably just asked him.
My favourite theory is that rick died at the crm compound
Another interesting one I might have to cover in my next iceberg video…
Orange backpack? Bad omen for sure.
If only we get the tank Walker scene...I want more of the fall footage
Man I love walking dead
The inventor of the smallpox vaccine was Dr. EDWARD Jenner, not Edwin Jenner, like in the show. ♥️
Ну че, пацаны, продвигаем нахой ❤
Rick wears the same boots too😭
Bro needs some new drip fr
