The Best Home Freeze Dryers Assembled in the USA 🇺🇸 We designed our machines to perform the best of any home freeze dryers on the market so that you can dry food 25-50% faster at higher capacities while taking advantage of all the benefits.
Freeze-dried food retains up to 90% of it's nutritional value, while other drying methods (like dehydrating) will destroy nutrients, and are often not shelf-stable.
Nutritional value, retained flavor, and prolonged shelf life all make freeze-dried foods perfect for all at-home uses, emergency preparedness, hiking, food storage, pet food, candy, snacks, and more.

How to start your first load in your Blue alpine a freeze Dryer
Our first load of Skittles turned out weird and doesn't look like the pretty puffs in all the videos. Everything was done exactly as instructed and the tray wasn't overloaded. Anyone else out there with the same problem?

Can I suggest growing your UA-cam channel?
The proprietary power cord plug was an unpleasant surprise.
"If you've never messed up, you've never tried" is an amazing quote.
RIGHT??
Couldn’t you just leave door open to defrost?
you could, but many of our customers are commercial customers and they need to bet their next cycle started as soon as possible.
Why does the inside ofnyour freeze dryer isnt frosted? And your not using the heat tray?
It's a minimal amount of water so you don't really see the ice build up. Its also a custom heat tray that only has one tray. We build them upon request but we don't carry them in stock.
@BlueAlpineFreezeDryers I have a freeze dryer, and it cools for 15 min and no water inside, and the entire thing is solid ice cools to -40°
@@MrCrazyoneeye Yeah a lot of things play into that. Humidity is how long the door is open, candy recipe vs fruit, how quick you start the cycle before putting food in, and the water content of the food, there are a lot of variables.
1st have a freeze drier
price
yay! 😍
Milk chocolates and dark chocolates that are home made and high quality dry extremely well.
first! i LOVE my Blue Alpine, thank you!!
I wish I had known about the Blue Alpine when I bought my freeze dryer!
We are so happy to hear that!
I love my Blue Alpine Freeze Dryer too!!! I have had it for 3 weeks and am on my 12th run. It was worth the 10 week wait and the stress of "when will it be delivered"!!!
mine also do not go back to being chewy but stay crunchy and airy not sure what you are doing wrong maybe the dry time?
That's true. Mine were only in for 2 hours.
you don't need to put them in the oven for preheat. I put them in on candy mode 150 3.5 hrs and they come out perfect. I also cut them in half. You're creating more work than needed.
Do I need a dedicated breaker for the medium size freeze dryer? I'm trying to get ready for my delivery. Thanks!!
Yes you should have a dedicated 15 amp breaker for the medium. In reality it doesnt need to be dedicated, however you really cant have anything else plugged into the circuit when the freeze dryer is running.
I am set for delivery on July 10th so I'm really excited. I got the medium one like you have there. I've got to get a cart to put it on in the next couple of days. Thank you so much!!
Yes. Thay and make sure you buy sintered trays from Sambo Creeck to reduce drying times by 66%
You are right! The great thing about us is that you can buy trays from just about anywhere and they can fit! 👍
Just got a taste of it in a high end restaurant it was disgusting!
Who doesn’t love a good salad? 😉
I would love to make the kids freeze-dried 🍬 and the blue one 💙 my favorite color.
It’s a fun treat!
I just received my medium Blue Alpine Freeze Dryer on Monday and have completed 5 runs (in less than 5 days). Setup was a breeze. I love the built in recipes. I appreciate your incredible customer support. Made in the USA!
We are so happy to hear that! Thank you! Glad you are loving it.
Can you explain the specific differences between your machine and stayfresh I’m deciding between your two brands and I’m really hesitant to go with you guys because I’ve seen a lot of promises but then I’ve seen some videos that don’t seem to match your promises so I’d like to be able to separate hopeful promises from reality
Give us a call at 208-607-1722 😊
So would keeping this unit in our farm walk in cooler (around 39 degrees F) be at all advantageous?
Just received my machine and really ready to get going,.
Have fun! Hope you enjoy it. Let us know if you have any questions that come up!
What setting and temp would be used for mushrooms?
I have never done them so this is just a guess but I would do them on delicate. So 103F and 1200mTorr.
I did them on the quick start setting and they came out great. I did shiitake.
I have been looking for answers to this question for days! Thank you for asking. And thank you Cory for answering @patentpendingpythons question.
Running my first load. Is it normal to have steam coming out of the pump around the filter? The pump is also quite warm. Is that ok?
Hey thanks for reaching out. Yes this is oil mist that comes out of the pump when it goes from atmosphere vacuum. We are coming out with a filter that will take care of this completely but it is about 3 months out still. We have a temporary solution that works well but is not elegant. Just wrap a microfiber towel around the base of the oil mist filter. Use a rubber band to secure it and this would stop the misting. Again this solution is effective but just temporary until we get the new filters in. Thanks and let us know how it goes.
Ive been on the fence about buying one of these. If there were more videos like this (how to's, recipes, troubleshooting) I woild be more likely to get one. Ive been eyeing the large one for a few weeks now. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for the feedback. We are working on making more videos, hopefully we can get more uploaded soon!
“Shiz ton” lol I have said those words many times
Do it again with mega stuff
Good idea!
yes bro those look so good
they are good!
What about replacing your predicted with an oil water separator filter?
Hi What is the cost of a new pump? Can you use a 3rd party vacuum pump?
You need to make videos about pre-cooked food but SOUS VIDE. If you did that with the bacon and iven cooked it, the fat binds to a flour and is fully rendered so that it can be freeze dried/reconstituted.
awesome. We will have to try that out. Thank you!
how much does it cost?
The current cost is $3095 for a medium and $3995 for a large.
Do you guys plan to send out any units to reviewers to give their opinions? Because this product looks great, but the only review I've seen is negative, although it seemed pretty biased and inaccurate.
Not at this time. Since we are a new start up we have only budgeted a few machines to give away and we decided we would rather reward our affiliate members with those free machines. If you'd like to sign up to be an affiliate here is the link bluealpinefreezedryers.com/pages/affiliate
@@BlueAlpine Unfortunately, I don't have enough influence to make joining your affiliate program worthwhile. However, I do appreciate you sharing the link with me. Have you considered other methods for obtaining third-party reviews?
Can you make a video about the large units now that they're for sale?
Yes! We can do that, it would be nice to showcase them side by side
@@BlueAlpine That would be great, as someone who is trying to research all the machines available for a new business I'm coming up short on much content about your large machine, I'm sure due to how new it is. Excited for more info!
Thank you for clearly explaining what is going on in freeze drying. I suspect most people have no idea what their machines are doing
This was the first time I have heard someone talking about different foods and why the timing is different and how you know when it is done. I am still a bit confused but learning
Let us know if you have any questions. We would be happy to help.
Very happy to see that these are available in Canada. On my wish list in a year or two.
This is amazing. I will be buying one once i get a job, i love the blue color too Cant wait to buy one
Oh so that’s how the economy gets inflated
Freeze dry or dehydrated?
Right
This is freeze dry. Can last up to 25 years!
Time to eat a pound of bacon..
Ita not realy ment to be fired like a rifle.. get a sling on on it, and hipfire it, use the bipod as a handle :) (think 80's action movie :)
Try using gold grade bacon, it's leaner
The grade of bacon has absolutely nothing to do with whether it's leaner or not. It's where it was vut.
How about humans?
Can you make jerky like that? Cause i would love to make home made sausage and freeze dry it.
you can definitely freeze dry sausage if it is not too oily! It won't make a jerky - that is a dehydration process. You could potentially freeze dry jerky tho! If you try it out, let us know how it goes!
Was the chicken cooked before freeze drying or raw?
Cooked! 😊 better that way so you don’t preserve any bacteria, however there are some who do freeze dry meats raw, though we don’t recommend it.
@@BlueAlpine thank you!!
Vegan alternatives for those who don’t eat meat or dairy (I’m transitioning to vegan).
We will do that! 😊
Thank you so much!
Why
