    I’m 5’5 at 220 lbs I was 250 4 months ago. I have also quit smoking, stopped eating fast foods and only eat whole foods. I do 3 full body weight lifting sessions a week, and I also walk 20k steps a day. We’re not getting any younger and what we do now will shape our future let’s get it.

    Great video but you definitely were not skinny fat, you had big arms and shoulder and a little too much fat (but still looked okay).

    Thanks for this! Such a great channel. Late question: does the amount of protein you eat matter as long as it is above 0.8 x lbs goal weight? As in, if I eat 140g protein as opposed to 200g (I’m 200lbs), do my muscles grow slower? Thanks

    Stop putting a time limit on this! Go with it and trust the process, it could take 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, no one knows so just do it.

    The answer is not to “diet”. Low carbs, low processed food and relatively higher fat (not full Keto) is how I went from 225lbs to 162lbs. Have been down there now for four years. Have never “dieted” and never counted a calorie. One’s food consumption needs to be sustainable. Dieting to constrain calories makes zero sense. I now find I can cycle 50 miles in a morning pre breakfast having not eaten since 7pm the previous night. Zero energy bars or food while cycling. For my age of 56 the speed is good too. Have never felt better. Losing weight does not require sacrifice.

      I believe you will be fat adapted.i do the same with hillwalking now fasted from day before and 3 hr hike to the top of first munro then i'll eat something no snacks on way up no problem.

    I tried this and they're so soggy or dry and awful and rubbery after reheating :( I treid the microwave tho, i'll try the pan but It's like I don't wanna wash the pan!

    Don't listen to this clown. Yeah being competition lean sucks but this guy is trying to say being relatively lean in general sucks which is nonsense. Fastest man in the world Noah Lyles is ripped and top performer if he added on 10 pounds because "lean is bad" he wouldn't even be able to compete on that level. Lean is what humans are supposed to be.

      No, it doesn't but it took 2-3 years to stop craving pasta, and my gravings for pasta and for just more food were instense. I have a huge appetite, Greetings, female44, body fat percentage at 13 for 2 years straight

    I've lost 120 lbs since January. Started at 290 lbs. I'm currently at 170 lbs. I feel great and am way happier. Went from xxxl shirt to a Medium.

    When I started keto and IF, I felt great but after 3 years, I realized I was starving myself so slowly it was hard to recognize. In hindsight, I should have periodized feasting and fasting. I put 10lbs back on and feel better for it.

    Congrats Matteo! I have a question, you’ve said you like to stay around 15% bf to look your best. Do you cut/lean bulk? If so what bf% do you cut to? I look my best around 15% bf (store most bf in my hips/tummy, hips/ribcage ratio). I’m around 18%, & I don’t know how low I need to go to give me enough “space” to lean bulk so that I can still look decent, but also so as to not bulk so much I have to do longer cuts.

    I'm literally in the process of going from 233 to 189. I lost 20 lbs in the first 6 weeks. My goal is to lose the rest over the next 9 weeks. It's gonna be close, but I already have my diet plan and workout routines figured out for those 9 weeks. By the final 4 weeks, I'm gonna be at a 2,000 calorie deficit.
