Thanks for your videos. I've recently achieved 15% body fat and am now pushing for 12%. I'm in the gym 3/4 times a week and going on walks/doing some cardio 3/4 times per week also. I've decided to reduce my kcal further from 1800 to 1600...certainly feeling hungry a lot but am on holiday week after next for a planned kcal maintenance and diet break.
I've been 85kg at 175cm height. In a matter of months with ups and downs now I'm 73kg but about two to three months now I can't move scales down no matter what. I've had multiple birthdays and holidays with alcohol and other junk food to stay at maintenance but I guess I overmaintained 😅
@@MatteoMarra33 weeks ago I started out at 183lbs now I'm 177 lbs rn height 173cm I'm consuming 2300kcal along with10k steps but stuck at the same weight for past 2 weeks what should I do?
Marra great vid I’m just starting out ,I’m 5.9 22 stone what should my normal calorie be to maintain weight and what should I drop to to lose calories thanks in advance Mike
If you're losing weight, or you've done it successfully - leave a comment below. It helps other folks who can learn from you, and tickles the algorithm.
Currently at just under 19kg down in about 9 months. Combination of logging food, cutting calories, upping protein levels, and resistance band training. Had a post Christmas plateau but that seemed to stop eventually. This channel has helped push me on and crack on ever harder. So, thanks for that.
@@khimbar123 You're the man, Steve - keep up the awesome work. I bet you're getting plenty of people recognizing the progress you've made so far. Thanks for watching!
@@MatteoMarra3 Yep, people have definitely noticed now! I guess it's all about consistency, and not letting small slips and mistakes become big mistakes. Still aiming for more. Setting new goals next couple of weeks, as am 1kg from original target weight.
Only helpfull tip I can give for the others from my own learning points is; start as early as possible with weight lifting. I started a bit too late with that, bodyrecomp is a much longer process. Getting there though. Great vid as always, lets up the algorythm 💪
I've been weight lifting for 4 months now. I lost 10 lbs initisy and I started to put on mass quickly so I kept just doing what I was doing. I started creatine about 10 days ago and I know you will retain water and increase in weight, but I've gained about 4 lbs and it's been the same for weeks. I feel like at this point I'm not seeing any other changes. With the muscle , I still have a lot of body fat (I'm 243 lbs now). Does it make sense to do a "mini cut" , aka reduce my calories for a few weeks and just keep on doing the same thing? I do a push/pull/leg split and try to take a day or two off in between before I repeat.
Is 2900 accurate maintenance for 210 lbs? I'm 280 pounds eating 2000 calories, mainly protein (200 grams), working out 4 times a week for an hour (which is new) and not losing weight nearly as fast as I think I should be or at all sometimes. I track everything
make sure you get plenty of sleep, I notice my weight loss happens more on the scale during weekends when I get to sleep fully vs work days when I don't get as much as I'd like
@@MatteoMarra3 I am doing my very best, to do the password and everything, it’s a little difficult, but I’m working at it, thank you very much for the Access
You're in a calorie deficit. It means that you're doing a starvation diet. You don't have to count calories. Just feed the body proper human nutrition, the right amount of animal protein in animal fats. That's all you need
I hope this channel blows up! 🫶🏼

Sounds like you're on the right track with a lot of things.
Why would you do a minicut and not just a full blown cut? No judgement, just asking :)

Sounds about right, but your daily activity levels could be quite low, which plays a big role!

You don't HAVE to count calories, of course.
But it's helpful for a lot of people. 🫡
