108 days into a lifestyle change. Started at 202lbs and 30% body fat. I’ve been eating 1650 calories per day, getting 160 grams of protein, walking 5 miles per day, and lifting full body 3x per week. I stopped drinking alcohol. I’ve gained muscle and strength while losing 27 pounds of fat. I feel and look better than I ever have and it’s only been barely over 3 months. I have a standing desk in my home office so I bought a walking pad to get steps in during work anad I often will have 2-3 miles accomplished at a slow pace by the end of the day. I’m basically walking a half marathon throughout the week while working and it’s mindless. Currently 175 lbs and around 18% body fat.

TY for the advice and vids. I was at 125 kgs/275 pounds on 14 April this year. After coming up with my own diet, cooking regime and other changes (no sugar, booze or processed foods), I am now averaging 1.4% body fat loss per week (over 15 weeks so far). As of this morning, I am now 98kgs/216 pounds and my gut/love handles have shrunk from 125cm to 104cms and waist from 115 cms to 101cms. I walk 4kms six days per week and workout 3 days per week and do core work 2 days per week (I hate situps). I fast for 36 hours in the middle of the week to kick in keto for that period. Anyhow, I am on track to reach my goal weight of 86kgs and waist of
I started a new job about 6 months ago. Much more active, on my feet job where I'm getting 30k plus steps a day. I was still eating crap, but slowly lost 10lbs in about 5 months. I took that opportunity to change my diet a bit. Cutting out the crap food, less carbs, more protein, weight training on top of my 30k daily steps. Im down 20lbs in the past 4 weeks. Feel amazing, so much energy, don't even crave any of the crap anymore. Still going strong 💪
I've lost 70 lbs in 7 months while working out and eating plenty of protein. It's been a lot of work, but it's been worth it. Only 20-25 more pounds to go.
Thanks. I'm at 75 lbs lost now, 20 more! Videos like yours have been very motivational to keep at it when I feel low energy, so thank you for what you do.
Really needed this, thank you. 6 months into a slow fat loss. 25 pounds down but most of it was at the start and its been going so slowly lately, despite eating less and less and walking more and more it's been extremely demotivating.
I'm currently on my weight loss journey/ lifestyle change. At my heaviest I was 357lbs Keto and workouts yoyoed me down to around 315-325lbs. March 1st, 2024 I was 317lbs I got serious, worked out daily hit 10k steps a day even on vacations and eventually started Omad/Intermittent fast consuming around 1500cal a day with 200g of protein. I on 6/26/2024 now am 266.2lbs. My goal weight is 230lbs as my military 6pack under 10% body fat weight was 220-225. In 3months 3 weeks I have lost 51lbs. Thats 2 days from 17weeks losing 3lbs a week. The tip you gave in this video though I didn't learn them from you are exactly what I did, and you are 100% correct the motivation of seeing the weight come off is all I need.
@Brad2117 it is. You only need between 1-1.5 grams per kilogram of body weight. Not sure when this mix up happened but unless you're a high-level body building competitor, the numbers I gave are what you need
im writing my daily weight in in my bathrooms wall. And i could see a pattern, everytime i lose weight on a week, the next week my body will hold on my weight loss for about 7-10 days, and then it resumes.Nothing changes, im eating pretty much the same meals everyday. So if your scale dont move, just check if youre doing right on the diet and trust the process.
So I lost 60 pounds about 3 years ago. sence then ive gained about 30 pounds back. I totally aggree with you. and I plan on watching all these videos and going for it again. i think the biggest thing that helped me is calorie counting. weights are a big thing to. biut I do plan on getting back into it. starting today. thanks for the boost in confidents.
I’ve been dieting since I graduated high school. My weight has been up and down for years. I was at 268 two months before my 40th bday. Decided to lose weight and got down to 215 in about a year . I’ve plateaued. I started to gain and got to 220z . In may i started to increase my steps to Atleast 7000 or more 5 days a week and added resistance training. I’ve started to lose weight again but this time it’s more inches than weight. I’ve lost 7 lbs since may. My goal is 195. I’m 6ft 2in. It’s not easy and I’ve had to increase how much I move to get it going again.
Keep in mind if you're lifting weights with a proper program and you weren't lifting before, you are likely gaining muscle along with losing fat so the scale may not reflect your hard work. Keep at it my friend, you're doing the work.
Tried out alot of things to see what works effectively on myself. Calories deficit is a must. Intermitted fastening can work to a certain extend, 14hours daily(includes sleep) is what works for me. Drinking enough water and getting enough protein. Walking helped alot at the heavier stages. Currently focusing on strength training, arms and chest mainly but the rest of the body as well. Body recomposition stage, progressing well. Still struggling with getting more sleep, natural bad sleeper here. Great vid as usual, getting better with the cam there I noticed 😁
I’m really struggling with this right now, I’m over by 20-25. And worked out for months and saw no difference. Cut back too, nothing. The only time I lost weight years ago was just eating soup. Which sucked. But I must have been around 1000 a day. Which is too low, so not sure show it worked if my body would go into starvation mode.
I'm currently on week 21 of 25 of cutting. It was a bit slow in the first 12 weeks (losing 0,38% of BW in average per week), but then I cranked up the intensity of my threadmill walks from 2,5 mph to 3,5 mph and since then it's been 0,77% of BW average per week, It's still a bit slow but I'm fine with those numbers, and I'll try to increase my steps a bit more for my last 4 weeks, hopefully it will pay.
The water retention is a fucking killer. You bust your ass all week, and then bam the scale says you've barely lost anything or you're over by . something. At 159lbs rn, trying to get down to 12 percent bf I think that'll be around 145 for me. I'm one of those plebs that carries all of his fat in his arms and midsection. My Shoulders are near diced at this point but my biceps are still covered by fat. 😂
If you've been a certain size and lose enough weight, you'll have loose skin regardless of how fast you lose weight. Theres not a lot you can do about it some people are luckier than others. The places you hold the most fat will be the areas with skin. Hope that answers it
have you ever done a 24 hours fast? iam doing 16-8 for a while now and thinking about doing a 24 hour fast maybe once a week in the weekend on a rest day
I'm on day 15 of a juice fast feast. Only juice. I walk at least 10k steps daily, but generally between 12-15k daily. Need to start doing some weight lifting. Instead of doing a water fast, do a juice fast or substitute a healthy juice for a meal. Let it be your breakfast lunch, the a good high protein dinner, then fast until the next day. That us easier than a water fast.
I agree, slow fat loss sucks, and lot's of Studies have shown that as long as one is eating 1 gr per protein per pound of ideal bodyweight and train hard enough in the gym without doing crazy cardio, just zone 2 or walking 10k steps, you will lose practically only fat, I have tried the slow approach compared to a PSMF and the results were the same, but the huge difference was the time of the fat lost, that's why I'm not doing to do normal slow dieting again, for me PSMF is the best approach, now I'm bulking at like 14% bodyfat, after I finish my bulk in a couple of month, I will definitely do a PSMF until I get to single digit. Best
