Great vid as always!

So glad I found your channel. Straight to the point, detailed, and very informative without having to sit thru a drawn out video to still have no idea or be misled. Thank you for what you do! 🤙 Very appreciated.
Back in 2017 I had a bilateral knee surgery done, a part of my knee cap shattered and lodged itself in my tendons slowly tearing them apart. Since the surgery I haven’t been the same. So many times I’ve tried to get back in the gym and have failed and proceeded to put on more weight. But as of January 1st I was at the heaviest I’ve been, 250lbs even and since then I’m now sitting at 219lbs. But now I need 2 more surgeries, one to remove my gallbladder and the 2nd to fix 2 hernias that I had back in May. And this time I’m not going to give up after these surgeries.
Thank you man! I’ve been on a diet for 2 months now and lost like 22 pounds but i noticed that my weight started to plateau and i wasn’t seeing as much results as at the beginning. But this video showed me that i should just be patient and keep on being consistent with my diet and eventually ill reach the level i want
Amazing video. I'm a US Marine veteran, and I've recently been through a lot in life that caused a substantial amount of depression, anxiety, and loss of motivation. I slowly saw myself getting fatter every day but always thought, "Meh, I'll catch it before it gets too bad." Well, news flash, i didn't. I'm probably pushing 250 lbs at 6'2", which probably doesn't sound like a lot except it's mostly fat and unhealthy weight. I recently started imagining getting my body back to the way it was when i was a young, fit, Marine. But the subjects you touched on made me realize that it's a pretty unrealistic goal with how busy life is now, and with how fast i wanted to shred the fat. I'm going to approach my journey with a different mindset now. Thank you very much for such an informative, uplifting video.
2 months ago - i thought I had 15 pounds to lose. Well, 20 lbs down and the lower back and love handles are still there. So a good rule of thumb is: however much you think you need to lose - double it.
Wow…. Your analogies were spot on homie…. Jus explaining with normal lingo and breaking it down was great…. This video was exactly what I needed to hear to keep my motivated…. Thx

I was at my best way back in 2020 i was at 84KG. doing weights and cardio and on IF as well. but yeah...thanks for reminding us... GodBless, I'll subscribe as well.

Am glad someone finally said that defining the rest of your body has an effect of your overall shape. I'm skinny fat. No chest, stick arms and all but love handled and a gut. I suspected training my upper body msking it more mudcular should chabge the overall shape and make the move handles and gut stick out less. This seems to confirm it. Now I know I have to "only" start to do strength training for upper body. As I don't wanna get lean, as I'm skinny already. Did I get that right? Anyway, nice Video. Thanks.
Gotcha! You're on the right track - definitely start building muscle. It's the silver bullet for fixing "skinny fat". Video coming out on this soon. Thanks for watching :)
A skinny-fat guy outcome is not desirable. Being skinny without muscle is not only wrong aesthetically but more importantly because it is the perfect recipe to regain all weight loss and to create new fat cells when the rebound arrives in the future. No muscle looks even worse than small love handles. Build your metabolism is key. Work of a V-shape. The real solution should be a sustainable nutrition and training approach including: (1) gain muscle for the WHOLE body, (2) do a calorie deficit while maintaining high protein intake, (3) reduce processed foods, carbs, sugar and alcohol, (3) sleep well,(4) address nutritional deficiencies, (5) balance your gut health, and (6) reduce stress of all types. Being skinny will not help you being lean. Muscle is more caloricly expensive than other tissues. Therefore, you need muscle to have a fast metabolism on a more permanent way. This is important because losing the weight is easy but to keep that lower weight is the real challenge. Therefore, the approach should be sustainable and more complete. You lost if you reach 10% body fat but killed your hormones and metabolism. You can reach that level of leanness having a strong metabolism with muscle
Gaining muscle, eating protein, eating healthy, sleeping, and reducing stress are all great ideas. Muscle doesn't really burn many calories, and doesn't have a huge impact on your total daily energy expenditure - but it's definitely critical for the look most guys want! Thanks for watching Ruben :)
so yeah!! i was getting sad!! that I will never be able to shred my love handle fat!!(though its my 4 day of calisthetics) And seems the first day I wanted to shred them and bring abs! But as I am an Indian, I eat rice 3 times a day and its a high source of carbohydrate!! still working on my body!! i am achieving some changes in my body!! maybe because of my age (17 years)!! but the idea that you gave was amazing!! and the motivation that you gave was highly inspiring!! thanks sir!! now I will work on making my rest body part look big related to that love handle!🥰🤩
Rucking (walking with a weighted backpack/vest/plate carrier) is a great tool to combine light cardio with resistance training. Try doing it on an inclined treadmill session.
Agreed, walking with a 45 lb plate or carrying 45 lbs of body-fat is still just walking, cardio. Doing a pull-up with that 45 lb plate or 45 lbs of body fat is resistance training, moving a muscle through its range of motion against resistance.
Thank you bro! I've been bouncing back and it feels really depressing and hearing those words really cleared it for me. No matter how long and tough the road I must complete what I started.
This video was very informative. I started my fitness journey a few months ago and have got myself down to a pretty lean physique (around 14%) but I still have some small love handles. I've been considering whether i wanted to return to cutting after my maintenance period but this video made me realise that busting my back just for the marginal gain of a little less flab around my waist probably isn't worth it for where I currently am.
Oh my god you handsome Chad.... You just made this entire video worth it for me. If I could convince even one person of this, I'd be happy :) Thank you.
I started the Keto diet and lost 20 lbs in 90 days with hardly any exercise. Less than 100 grams of carbs a day and no sugar or beer, the fat melts away as long as you stay in Ketosis.
I lost about 40 pounds. I found good results targeting the “Adonis belt” area. Diet is king, getting that inner corset tucking things in made a giant diff
I went from 170 to 150 and it amazing to finally fit into clothes without having painful marks after. The last thing to go is the small gut and love handles.
I’m lucky, if I cut out sugar, not even going fully into a diet, like cutting fats or cabs, just no sugar for 2-3 weeks my love handles go away, even if I consume sugar again they stay off as long as I’m not over indulging which is why I get them to begin with
>Scale number not decreasing >Thinking you can Spot Train fat off Yep, rookie lessons that have tricked us and had us second-guessing the journey to fitness. You have to train and be disciplined to have those dream results you've always wanted and it takes years. It took time to put on the weight, it will take time to get it off.
There is actually some evidence that spot reducation is possible. Fat does seem to have the tendency to be made available more around the muscles that are engaged with exercise. The caveat, however, is that you *still* would need to be in a generalised deficit to actually use that fat.
This video pop up once I am starting my fasting. Yes I want to drop body fat around that area including my upper body. I do have energy so much I can swim multiple laps. It’s going to be hard especially with family members that eat unhealthy options.
I needed this video. I’ve been training hard and eating right since February. Down to 194 from 229, but I’m still hanging onto fat in lower abs / back. I’ve been skipping ab training and think that’s probably the part of the equation I’ve been neglecting. Thanks!

Gotcha! You're on the right track - definitely start building muscle. It's the silver bullet for fixing "skinny fat".
Video coming out on this soon. Thanks for watching :)
Very good video with great analogies
Glad you enjoyed that one, Mike
9k subs, bro you are so underrated
Ha - thanks dude :) We shall see
I needed that video. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful - thanks for watching, Paul!
Rice is good my friend :) Not to worry about that!
Keep up the excellent work, you're on the right track.
@@MatteoMarra3 thanks🥺❤
Much easier to stay in shape than to "get in shape."
ABSOLUTELY!
Thanks for watching this one, Michael :)
Ngl ,explanations gave me great reality check. Thank you, awesome video!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching dude:)
Rucking (walking with a weighted backpack/vest/plate carrier) is a great tool to combine light cardio with resistance training. Try doing it on an inclined treadmill session.
it's a great way to do cardio for sure. But it's not really resistance training, is it?
@@MatteoMarra3 It depends on how much you carry in your ruck. Currently, I carry a 45 lb iron plate in my plate carrier.
@@Killermike2178 Still cardio dude!
Resistance training - think squats, deadlifts, bench press, pushups, sit ups, rows, etc.
Wonderful! You got this man :)
Great video. Very common sense yet motivating dude. Thanks.
Appreciate it Francisco :) thanks for watching
This video was very informative. I started my fitness journey a few months ago and have got myself down to a pretty lean physique (around 14%) but I still have some small love handles. I've been considering whether i wanted to return to cutting after my maintenance period but this video made me realise that busting my back just for the marginal gain of a little less flab around my waist probably isn't worth it for where I currently am.
Oh my god you handsome Chad.... You just made this entire video worth it for me. If I could convince even one person of this, I'd be happy :)
Thank you.
I literally laughed out loud at your love handle name theory. Bwahaha
I'm glad that one landed for you Samuel :)
This is very motivating and realistic
Glad you liked that one, Rey! Thanks for watching :)
What do you think - is it worth it to get rid of it all?
I started the Keto diet and lost 20 lbs in 90 days with hardly any exercise. Less than 100 grams of carbs a day and no sugar or beer, the fat melts away as long as you stay in Ketosis.
Good stuff man. Glad you found what works for you!
I lost about 40 pounds. I found good results targeting the “Adonis belt” area. Diet is king, getting that inner corset tucking things in made a giant diff
Great work man! Thanks for watching:)
Love your analogies
I'm happy to hear they're helping, Nick! Thanks for watching dude.
Love handle part killed me 🤣🤣🤣
Ha - glad you liked that part.
I went from 170 to 150 and it amazing to finally fit into clothes without having painful marks after.
The last thing to go is the small gut and love handles.
Whoa! 20 lb weight loss is no joke dude, nicely done. You training for muscle growth too?
Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for being a real person, and not a charicature "gym bro" so often seen on social.
Thanks for tapping in dude! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Loved the video and explanation, you're awesome ^^
Thank you! Appreciate you tapping in :)
Subscribed after this video. Thanks bro.
Right on dude. Thanks for watching!
I’m lucky, if I cut out sugar, not even going fully into a diet, like cutting fats or cabs, just no sugar for 2-3 weeks my love handles go away, even if I consume sugar again they stay off as long as I’m not over indulging which is why I get them to begin with
Sounds like you've got it figured out!
03:09 😂 Bahahahahahaha!!! I’ve never heard anyone say that, the trap right! what a hilarious visual! 😂 good video, good tips, bro!

>Thinking you can Spot Train fat off
Yep, rookie lessons that have tricked us and had us second-guessing the journey to fitness. You have to train and be disciplined to have those dream results you've always wanted and it takes years. It took time to put on the weight, it will take time to get it off.
All those rookie lessons are part of the game! We all have to learn them eventually.
Thanks for watching this one man
Informative. As long as I lower the fat on my stomach, I am okay. Thanks for the advice.
Glad to hear it, Alexander! Thanks for watching :)
There is actually some evidence that spot reducation is possible.
Fat does seem to have the tendency to be made available more around the muscles that are engaged with exercise. The caveat, however, is that you *still* would need to be in a generalised deficit to actually use that fat.
Yeah, it's not something I'd bet the house on though, y'know? Just diet more and it'll all be good!
thanks for watching :)
Can you explain body recomposition this topic Is very underrated . I would appreciate it if you make a video on it

Appreciate you watching it man!
Amazing video and personality
Well thank you so much! Appreciate you watching :)
This video pop up once I am starting my fasting. Yes I want to drop body fat around that area including my upper body. I do have energy so much I can swim multiple laps. It’s going to be hard especially with family members that eat unhealthy options.
You got this, Danny - all your choices are up to you.
Thanks for watching :)
I needed this video. I’ve been training hard and eating right since February. Down to 194 from 229, but I’m still hanging onto fat in lower abs / back. I’ve been skipping ab training and think that’s probably the part of the equation I’ve been neglecting. Thanks!
You're the man MP - just checked out your channel and it looks like you're crushing it.
Keep getting leaner. Keep pushing for growth. You're going to get there :)
