- For the first 2 decades of my life, I was frustrated with the belly fat I carried around. I even remember going on a date with a girl I liked, and I was too embarrassed to take my shirt off to go swimming with her.
Everyone who is successful at losing belly fat focuses on a few key things that most people don’t.
You don’t need 1 in a million genetics to make this happen.
But you have to be willing to do things differently.
Here's what you need to know if you want to lose belly fat.

Thanks for watching :)
Getting over the fear of trying was my hold-up. Push through and try what you’ve never attempted.
Absolutely!
New to Matteos channel and definitely one of the best I’ve seen. 6 weeks into a 50 lb weight loss journey again and down 18lbs and definately maintaining my muscle. My strength has gone up last week for nearly all exercises - I’ve now upped calories from a low 1500 for first few weeks as realised I had no energy to lift. These videos are helping so much. Finally realised I need to take it slow for long term success 🙌🏼 Thanks Matteo from UK.
Welcome aboard sir! Great work on the weight loss so far - excited to see you keep moving toward the 50 lb mark :)
Solid info. You definitely need to try out various things to see what works best for you and is sustainable. Everything is a learning experience. Nice camera angles. Great vid as always
Appreciate you watching, RF :)
Glad you liked this one
What was your most recent tactical failure?
Been eating 1 to 2 meals a day, walking over a mile a day and only intaking 1500 calories. Trying to drop 25lbs also working out with some dumbbells. My fasting is at least 16 hours no eating I'm trying to get to where I only need 1 meal a day while still walking at least 15k steps a day
Yo Victor thanks for watching! What about this is working really well for you right now? And what's not working?
@MatteoMarra3 honestly I don't have a scale so I can't measure my progress necessarily besides looking at myself. Been at it a couple of weeks now and I'm hoping I'm doing enough. Should I get a scale or just go by how I perceive myself? I'm trying to figure out if I'm actually in a calorie deficit or not
@@victoresarey4036 BUY A SCALE VICTOR!!!
@MatteoMarra3 haha ok, I work at Walmart so not a big deal. Basically I'm just trying to get rid of small love handles and get rid of belly fat and I hear it's a long process so I'm only drinking water and tea plus fruits or salad 1st meal and my 2nd meal being more protein and such

That was one good video. You earn a new subscriber my friend.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for being here dude :)
I love your content because you know how to reach out and emphatize. It's not just a dictation of commonly known facts, instead a more diverse and personalized approach. One question, do you recomend using creatine?
I'm glad I could help :).
Maybe it's because I still remember what it's like. Creatine is cool. I don't take it personally, but I probably should because it makes you a little more jacked and muscular.
Hey man, I'm 17 and skinny fat. Not as much as other examples I've seen but still not liking how I look. Over the past month, I've looked at SO many videos and they literally all say something different. I ONLY have fat on my belly and I quite literally do not know what to do. I've been eating 1,500 cals a day and walking 15,000 steps. I don't have access to a gym, so do dumbells help with the belly area?
Hey dude - you're young. Get stronger and put on some muscle before worrying too much about the belly fat. You're about to have a crazy amount of hormones hit you that will make this faster than ever :)
Thanks
Dude. Thank you so much for this. That's the first time I've received a "tip" here.
You didn't have to - but I appreciate it.
Email me at matteo@marrastrength.com- I have a gift for you
I am 6 foot one, £417, and I am 51 years old, I do not know what my bike percentage is, your help would be greatly appreciate, thank you in advance by the way, that’s supposed to read. I do not know what my body fat percentage is, thank you again. 0:12
Hey Kevin - did you check out my recent video about body fat percentage? I'm sure that would help!
@@MatteoMarra3 i’m not going to lie, it is very difficult to understand, is there any other advice or help you can give me, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you
I really appreciate these videos. I’m about 15 months into my latest weight loss journey and I’ve lost 32 pounds, but I’m struggling to get rid of those last 10lbs or so. You’ve really given me the motivation to keep going and achieve my goal. I’d like to hear your thoughts on supplements like creatine. Thanks!
This is an incredible chunk of progress - kudos!
Keep accumulating those skills and tactical failures until you collect those final 10lb. What are you really struggling with there?
Creatine is an awesome proven option that will make you stronger and more muscular :)
@@MatteoMarra3 Thanks! I’ve been at my current weight for a few months now, my biggest struggle has been consistency. Thanks to videos like yours, I know what I need to do as far as diet and exercise, I just need to work on building those daily and weekly habits for the long term. I think I get too hung up on short term failures and that causes me to lose motivation.
💯
🙏🙏🙏 blessed to have you watch this one. The GOAT Charif! Thank you sir.
INB4 Calorie Deficit
Ha - I know that everyone wants another calorie deficit video, but is that really what's needed?
At 5:10 those two videos are 50 pounds difference?
YUP! 205 to 155 :)
@@MatteoMarra3your arms look bigger after cutting or maybe it's the view. Is it because you lost weight it looks more defined or you had an increase in protein?
@@chewbrocka6833 my arms got bigger and I got leaner!!!
This is a great motivational video but I don't like how you edit the videos when you leave out the pauses between sentences. The whole video is like one very long sentence without any pausing and that's pretty weird.
Good feedback here. Thanks for watching dude!
sorry but this video is very basic information. nothing new here at all...
I'm glad you found what works for you man. Thanks for watching
