Air Fried Fryer Soberdough Beer Brew Bread - JUST ADD BEER
Переглядів 4633 роки тому
I thought I'd try to make some brew bread from Soberdough. I used an IPA which gave it much more of a beer flavor. I ended up cooking this for 20 minutes uncovered then 20 minutes covered @ 350 F. If there is a next time I'll try covered @ 375 for 20 minutes then uncovered for 10 minutes and maybe put some cheese on top.

This was the first time I made a Ribeye Roast in the Air Fryer. I cut a large portion of the fat off as the Air Fryer will turn it hard a rubbery. I cooked it for 375 for 35 minutes wrapped in foil. This got the temperature to about 69 F. I then cooked it another 20 minutes at 400 while still wrapped and the temperature shot up to about 125 F. I then unwrapped it and cooked it for 25 more minut...
Ultimate Air Fried French Fry

I've made Air Fried French Fries many times in the past but was never happy with them. The texture of Air Fried French Fries are nothing like deep fried. They are much harder and somewhat drier. I recently came across a simple method to make them closer to their deep fried counterparts. I used Canola oil in this vide since that is all I had but Olive Oil would be a better choice. Informative video, but it seems like you cooked the rack way too long. You only should cook to 145F, not 200F like with pork ribs. The rack should take 2-3 hrs max. at 275-300F, to get to 145F.

    • @smokegrillfryeat1673

    • @michaelh1621
      @michaelh1621 6 місяців тому

      @@smokegrillfryeat1673 Because you indicated the rack cooked for 6.5 hours. On that grill, unless you were cooking at 150F, after 6 plus hours you would have to be seriously north of 180F. Also, somewhere you mentioned cooking the rack like ribs. They did look good….I’m doing 2 racks for Christmas. Happy Holidays!

    Does the smoke from the fire pit gets vented out from the top of the roof? Does it carbon deposit stain from the smoke on the celing? I am not too sure if the vinyl celing panels could hold up the heat from the weathering as well as the fire pit?

    • @smokegrillfryeat1673
      @smokegrillfryeat1673 Рік тому

      The top of the gazebo is vented. I've used the firepit a couple of times and haven't notice any soot buildup but would guess it just takes time. The roof panels aren't vinyl, at least not 100% vinyl, and is an aluminum composite. They are flimsy but seem pretty durable.

    You pay for what you get ! LOL. You could pay three times more and get a Germany air fryer. However, most China appliance last much longer than I expect nowadays. For me, I want to replace my appliance often so that I can get the latest feature. Just like my cell phone, I never buy top model because I replace it every 2 years. LOL... Many countries manufactures their in China, take advantage of the low labor cost in China, transfer their pollution to China, so that they can make a lot more profit. Usually Chinese made 10% or less profit while those countries made 90%or more profit. Another well known product is iPhone. China products have been the main reason of low inflation of last few decades.

    I have the same model & it just failed after 2 years and 8 months. Yes it had lots of use, 4-5 times a week for lunch and maybe twice for larger meals. The lunches were short times, 20 minutes maximum. The dinners, usually chicken and sides maybe 45-50 minutes. I don't think it's supposed to be used for longer times. Right after a longer duration cook it failed. The element was red hot and began smoking heavily. Fuse isn't blown so hopefully it's just an internal fuse or one of those flimsy internal wires. Probably won't buy another, instead a built in oven with air fryer function of mine can't be fixed.

    • @Gunzee
      @Gunzee Рік тому

      Just to say I fixed mine. There's two thermal 192°c fuses behind the element. 4:53 to the right of your finger are 3 small nuts, the two outer hold the fuses against the metal housing. The middle is ground. Gave it a good clean with oven cleaner. Nasty stuff but the grease just melted away. Oh I soldered on a new bulb also. The original was 230v 30 watts. I think the new is 50 watts. Hopefully it lasts a bit longer. Not easy getting it all back together, it was left in pieces for a week!
