Replacing the Onewheel Pint Charger GX12-2 Terminal

- I bumped into my Onewheel Pint while it was charging and the tip snapped off.
A new charger costs $80 so I contacted Future Motion to see if they could service it. They don't do repairs and since my board is older than 6 months is was no longer under warranty.
I figured I'd just fix it myself and found the plug needed from Reddit

I found a 3 pack of plugs on Walmart that was cheaper than Amazon

Thank you for this. I had to do this since pin 2 got pushed way in or broke off rendering the charging useless. I did made 1+ and 2- which worked.

Same happened to me, trying to get the fam comfortable with my XR before I told them I actually spent money on 2 boards at once. I was keeping my pint in the garage, charging in the rafters and yeah it fell… board was fine ofc. The end of the charger not so much.

So my actual one wheel charging port is broken and won’t charge immediately when plugged in, what can I do beside sending to one wheel for revision ?
What pin is the positive for 2 pin connector?
I have a 3 pin connector. 1&2 are power and ground but idk what 3 is. Maybe another ground?
I can't say if this is correct but it looks like it's 1= negative, 2= positive, 3= positive

I'm wondering about the polarity. I have a DC power supply that I am wanting to use to charge my pint, but don't want to fry anything.

I'm not sure but I matched it up exactly as the original one based on the slot on the tip. ua-cam.com/video/zq-h_nO3Q78/v-deo.html. Jiri commented below that it is 1- and 2+
@smallexis mine was 1=+ and 2=-. i did the 1- 2+ and didnt do anything switched around and it started charging. so even if you put it backwards it wont hurt it but not recommended LOL.

They have GX16-2 which probably is bigger, right? Need to tell them GX12-2? Thank you
The GX16-2 is much larger so it wouldn't work unless you replace the side in the board to match it. That's more work than what it's worth though unless you had no other choice.
The Onewheel Pint's charger is 63c 1.3A and the one in the link you send is 3A. I'm no expert in this area but think it would charge the Onewheel faster but would double check on the Reddit forum to see if it won't cause a problem.
