Oh look, a crapper.
Wait, how do you flatten Z??
Niece
i always cut everything in half, so later on , i hjust have to mirror it. saves 50% the work , if you have more than a couple steps
کارت درسته آقا
Easy
make a plane then screw it to 90 degrees + extrude to have quarter cylinder then glue a cube with bool modifier, will keep materials intact afterwards so u can better UV unwrap it
You gain some time by modeling a fourth of the model and mirror on two axis
I just love your voice over )
I love you trick with the loop “how model this?” 👍😉
İşte aradığım tarz video.🎉
Sir I think you left an Ngon
Just shade smooth, lord 💀
I really like how blender meshes look so soft.
I tell u that you have an ngon
I tell u that you have an ngon
Wow, this is how you make a nut on blender.
I'd just bool that cut.
I am a Maya user but watching this was very cool, I liked how you did the inner spiral.
you can stop adding edges at the 30 second mark... that's absolutely no advantage to adding edges to faces that are already planar.
Threece
😂🤣😂🤣
What a weird way to model that simple part!
13:20 - 13:25 Shift V 👍
This is awesome, thank you so much!
do a little bit of research into topology and edgeflow
Are you Tiago Catarino?
how did you do that at 5:07 ?
[ Ctrl ] and press [ + ] multiple times on the numpad
@@Rob1s_r thanks buddy
But now ur model is cut in many pieces
How did you do this move please? I mean a reverse copy of the body0:45

Hi it's the mirror modifier, don't forget to check the merge button so it becomes one object
@@GimmeSomeChicken نايس
how you came up with that ?
Absolute best tut i have seen in a while!
yummy
How is he adding the edge loops in object mode ?
1. Shear a cube 2. Boolean modifier 3. Done
I was literally just thinking about this and saw it, perfect timing
большое количество полигонов(
What did he do when he fixed the tri-quad edge intersection alignment of the vertex, I must know, please?
At a couple of moments I'd love to to know more about the why (than just the how) - like why did you reposition the metal parts before exporting?
*Interpenetration of solids assignment flashbacks*
I just wouldnt bother with any sort of quads or subd, because this is a detail youd use for hardsurface models that dont need to deform, so good topology is optional
That looks so sexy
I would use a boolean to cut the cross shape into the cylinder
Qué ese N-Gon que estoy viendo >:(
Why are you teaching people to add edgeloops for no reason? Its a very bad and pointless habit in 3d
So something g I figured out recently, if you want to flatten your verts or edges you can use the edge slide tool and slide it to an edge that is already flat and just move it back.
Almost..
Minor tip if you don't want to select all edges one by one 1. Select just one 2. Shift + G 3. Choose "Length" and reduce the threshold to smth below .01, like .005, to exclude the circles For the circles: Select one Shift G Select Polygon Sides Bevel
Ok so something with the knife is that here he uses click then drag. If you use click and drag, it will cut while following your cursor and you won't be able to adjust the cut. Click and drag will give a more organic, wobbly cut.
Another thing: use the scroll wheel to control the number of segments while beveling.
