Nice tutorial, unfortunately for me as a beginner almost nothing I do has the same effect as in the video. I wanted to create the chain but changing the instancing to faces has the effect that the torus becomes really small. adding the curve to array makes everything appear in different places and when adding the empty as object offset only one torus remains and rotating does nothing. Still cool tutorial, but maybe to advanced for me too know about some hidden settings that affect this behaviour.

Really sorry to hear you had trouble with the chain tutorial. You raise a fair point - working with arrays and empties can be tricky without the right foundations. The torus scaling issue in particular could be due to the need to apply scale on the base plane. Thank you for the honest and insightful input - it will really push us to better support newcomers.
