The treacle probably made a big impact on his physique too!
I read Arnold's first book and he always lifted weights..the pictures you show is a demonstration of a home workout without weights which we all have done,thats all..But yes to be honest anyone can build great body without weights if they know what they are doing..
Arnie started steroids at 15. Mr universe at 20. Mr Olympia at 23. No one has managed to be Mr universe at 20 still a record today. He took more steroids than anyone else in his day which is nothing compared to today's bodybuilders thus they drop dead younger n younger. Boxers do body weight exercises,yes they have good natural physiques but not like Ofcourse he used weights in Austria as a 14 year old. You are not going to get 58" chest 21" arms without taking loads of steroids.

Exercise #3...he showing that method because most folks would not have a chin up bar at home, and most folks could not do many reps. The pole with chairs allows people to do more reps.
Video sugestion: Tier list trx exercises
I like to do 100 Push Ups,100 Pull Ups and 100 Bulgarian split squats 3 times per week. Insane pump. Its not many things one need to get a great workout. Couple of chairs to do Dips and a backpack with extra weights to make it heavy, endless exercises. ✅😎💪💪

Starting using TrX in 2005, built a great physique. Nowadays I use cables and free weights. Intensity is the key 🗝️
When you go nice and slow down (timestamp 2:08), how far back should you go? Is there a mark I can look at to make sure I didn't go too far back?
Ideally, you want to feel a nice stretch across your chest. The more stretch you can create at the bottom, the bigger the range of motion and the better development. Only go to where is comfortable though. Your range of motion will increase over time

Prisoners do a lot of partial reps with high volume and build impressive physiques.They say it concentrates the movement on the given muscle without spreading the load out onto accessory ones.

Even a variety of plank work builds muscle as well other isometric movements build muscle...i have been working out over 55 years...form can vary immensely, mind muscle connection,time under tension and enough intensity grows muscle...

It’s called a ‘suspension trainer’, lots of them on Amazon. The original brand (the GOAT) is known as TRX.

I’ve always been a regular gym person but over time I feel like I have muscle imbalances, my hip flexors are chronically tight which causes low back pain. My core I think has always been crap. It’s almost like my body uses my hip flexors all the time instead of core and glutes etc. My weight is fine, I could lose 5 pounds and would like to replace that with lean mass. But, the above needs to be addressed. Which plan would be best for me? Thanks & enjoy the rest of your weekend. I now have my TRX all setup to the wall!

Hello, nice video, a lot of thanks. I love working with trx because I can strengthen and in the same position stretch the antagonist muscle, this makes my training flow in two different ways but my sensations are very good at the end of the sesion. What do you think about this? Is it correct or I am missing the focus?
Absolutely, being able to take each muscle area from a fully stretched position to a fully contracted position is a great benefit of suspension training. Becuase it works with your individual biomechanics.

I’ve mentioned this before on this channel; after a few years of a drinking habit that was killing me, I said “no more”, walked away, and used my TRX as meditation and stress relief. It changed my life and also my body. I had NEVER felt better, and I was 48yrs old at the time! I’m 53 now and still going strong. 🇨🇦👍🏼

I don't like TRX chest press (#1) because (the rough edges of) the straps rub against and damages the skin of the upper arms. I don't understand how others are doing it without that problem. That's why I avoid doing these.
Yea I feel you. Myself and a lot of people in the Fitness Freedom Athletes community use variation 2: Chest Dips for that very reason 02:19
Thanks, I'll try them. I don't really understand why the normal handles are not used, it's just 10 cm difference. As long as the straps are long enough and goes inside the arms. No gloves necessary.
Have you tried the trx bandit? Im a home gym guy and just use trx, rip trainer, and the bandit. Yes i have my preference but wondering if you’ve tried and your thoughts?

@@fitnessfreedomathletes they’re basically handles that go over resistant bands and the plus is no pinching and better grips/comfort when doing the movements… is it a gimmick? Could be but i love them and extra portable

Here's some more tips: -Turn your elbows AND palms up at the top to get the hardest chest contraction. Like a scooping motion. You can try this right now without straps to see what I mean. - I prefer the bulgarian version of this where you flare your elbows out at the bottom to get the deepest stretch trying to get your chest deeper than the handles. Lots of research coming out atm saying the stretch portion of the lift creates the most hypertrophy. - Set the straps wide apart, this creates extra lateral tension when you bring the handles together at the top. This is where having a suspension trainer which has separate anchor points superior to a trx type which only has one. I do 60 seconds full ROM 30 second rest then 40 seconds long length partials working in that deep stretch zone.
