Love the idea of a shed community site/page have you thought of using discord or Facebook to do it? The biggest challenge is moderating it so it doesn’t become either the usual troll space (not that sheddies are usually like that but the hate spewing aholes seem to find their way into everything) or as I’ve seen happen the page turns into a scam shopping site with people trying to flog drop shipped tat. Anyhow that’s a future that may never happen & I’m in for the ride 👍 colin

I got addicted to the TEMU website thinking “that will be useful and it’s cheap” and started buying before receiving earlier orders, so many items were smaller than expected, I have now gone TEMU cold turkey and stopped. But many of those purchases have come in handy with my diy, so not everything is pointless, but anyone reading this, just be careful and lower your expectations.

I am about to watch the vid but thought I would comment before as I have some experience with this model or its twin, years ago I bought the Ferrex nail/staple gun it was so good I bought a second one they have a metal magazine and do occasionally jam as all nailguns do, I am a professional user and mine get used for fixing grp trims. Recently ALDI released the version with the plastic magazine, similar if not the same as the one just released by Lidl, I purchased it and after about 30 minutes of testing it I returned it for a refund, its not a patch on the original, jams constantly, irregular hit strength, just absolute garbage.

Repair kits for bicycle tyres often have self-adhesive rubber patches in them - red too!

Have you tried Temu batteries for electric drills etc?

That endoscope refresh rate is much better on that one than the cheap one I tested that made you feel you were drunk lol

The cordless bandsaw has been in my local Lidl in northern Italy several times last year.

That endoscope will definitely have some x rated uses.

Hi, so finally TEMU tools……… Endoscope: my friend the packing etc is there to prevent damage to the actual item!! So damage to such is OK…..yes?! Why would one want to use B&W?? They are very very useful! Good dummy test set up. I think that is a great purchase at £20!!!!! Great video!! Bob England

I used my endoscope to check for wax in my ears. Unfortunately, ear wax isn't magnetic, so I've still got to go to the doctor's to get them cleaned out.

I bought a similar ratchet set for my nephew recently, so he had a set in his first car for doing basic maintenance. It was ok. Not as good as what I bought when I was 17, but it was only the price of a pint.

Hi Rob, great video, i came here after seeing a TC004 on amazon for £170 only to realise its the "mini" version, you were sent the regular version for closer to £300 (after discount ended). Your link is correct, but might be worth warning viewers that the default amazon search result is the inferior "mini" version. Cheers

So far I've resisted using Temu but not saying I never will, I just spend more than enough in other places right now. I've thought about an Endoscope a few times but I think it would end up collecting dust after a few uses. That one does look ok for the money though! Brilliant video as always rob. Couple things you should no the extender impact bits last well and ive battered the ones i got (same as yours) they also do 5 different sized pozi impact bits think i paid 3 quid brilliant. There silicone moulds are great and cheap. Ive had a decent amount stuff off temu say 90% been good. Also there chucks for the lathe brilliant and half the price of the big boys but the same there drill chuck and pen mandrel also brilliant and 1/4 the price of uk stuff just saying 🤷😲🫡🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍 speak soon

I have wondered about the Temu tools, the price is good for sure. I like the camera I may look into that soon.

With a little common sense there's great deals to be had. Doubt most of their tools would hold up long on a production line but they're mostly fine for hobbyist type workshops. Sometimes you only use a particular tool once a year or even less but when you need it they sure are nice to have on hand.

Temu gets a lot of stick but I have some really good quality tools for very little money, better than cheaper tools in the UK by a long margin

Another good video I also have spent more time searching through temu than watching TV 😂 mostly happy with what I received funny watching you with the scope in the box made me think how really good my NHS surgeon was operating on my shoulder with micro surgery

I have a ratchet set just like that Temu one that I bought from Lidl and its bloody marvellous. Not saying you could dismantle a car with it but for DIY bits round the house its just the ticket. Use it for building IKEA stuff and its so much better than the crappy Allen Key you get in the box. You were probably aware of the fact that there was a LIDL version though, because you've been spending most your life, living in the middle aisle paradise....(Apologies to Stevie Wonder)

That endoscope looks good. I've bought a couple to try and get close up views for micro routing, but most only work with android (no matter what they claim) and have propriety video protocols (no hacking). I'm gonna get one of those Temu ones and give it a try. Thanks.

I like the idea of the forum! I’ve used Temu, quality can be a bit hit or miss, you only get 1 free return per order, so you need to try everything first, not sure about warranty. Great Vid again, Thanks Steve

Hey Rob....afew of those tools I have had pre TEMU....I use my endoscope for sighting down into engines (have a bearing stethoscope too which detects rumbling bearings) I have used Temu a few times and to be honest frind it ok......my missus uses it more than I for buying little housey bits......Thanks as always for the content

Temu tools are not too bad. I've had quite a few things from them and have been happy with it but the Bother after you buy stuff is annoying. Message after Message offering you cheaper this and free that...... Sounds great but you still have to spend money on things you don't want in order to get things you Do want. Free offers like 6 items of your choice but you still have to pay £25 for unwanted items. Great at Christmas but not for just 1 or 2 things. Great video as usual. See you on your next one. CHEERS.

Really can not complain at those prices. There is a lot of tat on there but for items you may only use occasionally like the endoscope its a no brainer. The screw extractors will probably not last long but its not often you need one. Nice review.

that tint 105 degree anglebitholder is good.. aslong you dont let the bitend get wet and rust. then the ballbearing will more or less explode

Hi Rob, interesting vid as usual. I’ve only ordered once from Temu - it was a mixed bag in terms of quality, but like you say, very appealing in terms of price. One thing I got was a sanding flap disc for an angle grinder… way too small to fit any angle grinder I’ve ever seen 😂. I’ve since heard a rumour going round that they hook you in at stupidly low prices, as a way of harvesting data. But I’ve no way of proving or disproving that 👍. There’s also the whole moral issue that theyre ripping off designs of things like high quality expensive Woodpecker woodworking tools, and making their own inferior versions, styled in the same red anodised finish. But I guess for some folk who can’t afford expensive tools - or they’re maybe trying a new hobby and don’t want to spend a fortune - it gives them access to a wide selection of gear.

How long before you looked up your nose ( or anywhere else inappropriate 🙀?)😂😂😂
