I've been using my ferrex drills and inpacts for a few years now. I have to say they are absolute workhorses. I put them through the works on a daily basis, and they still hold up like the day i got them. Sold off my einhell gear as these are just as good.
Thanks Rob, great fun as always, thanks for taking us along to see what's on offer at Aldi, I was in Lidl and got an inexpensive corded multi-tool and extra blades for my Daughter and a couple of the lifting tools, and F-clamps too ! Our store had the Lathe and Saw Bench too, it's feast or famine !
I would cut the Workzone pencil down to 2" , that way you would have a pencil to mark off and the shorter stub permanently in the overly large compass . Another great video 👍
I normally buy Ferrex, very happy with the tools. Just bought a Parkside paint sprayer for £15.99. Will make it easier for the wife to spray the sheds and fence 😂
I needed a new sander. So inspired by your videos I decided to get one from Lidl. This is a definite departure for me as I usually go for a "big name". I got a Parkside multi sander PMFS 200 C3. This is probably the part where you tell me that you've already reviewed these months ago and not to get one haha. I'm hoping it's up to the job which it will be used for..namely DIY sanding of wood and filler.
Yes, you missed out the 2 grey markers for marking screw hole centers that allow you to hang things level on a wall with the aid of the spirit levels These things are a godsend. For instance when you're trying to hang an. 13amp extension gang its a nightmare getting the hanger holes centered, so it fits and looks level on a wall also picture and mirrors. Anyway, a good video as always, very informative. Keep up the good work.
Thanks John , yes I heard the same in some areas .. one day I ought to put together a spreadsheet of all branches and what they have in, from others people’s comments 😃 .. big job , I know 😂cheers Rob
Fun video as ever! Yes, the two for a tenner 4ah batteries is a real deal. I'll have to get myself down there to pick up a couple more. Now for a look at the UA-camrs you mentioned.
Nice piece of kit at a good price but if you’re drawing circles to accurate measurements either the pin length and the pencil length should be the same or you need to raise the pin off of the floor by resting it on something raised like a rubber/plastic stopper.
Hey Rob.....well I still havent bought owt from lidl but my mate is giving me his lidl woodlathe.....so I will be able to do small stuff....he enjoyed making pens so bought himself an upgrade....... As usual thanks for the great presentation.....plus.....I dont mind your waffle ......it makes it seem like a mate is talking to you rather than some presenters talking "at" you........That compass is great.....will check out the other YT'ers.
Hey Adam.. PARKSIDE LATHE fanboy 😃😂 brilliant,, have fun mate . As you mentioned.. and for me it’s like talking to mates 👌 especially when I get chance to reply to comments .. nice one ! Cheers Rob
I went to our local Aldi Thursday in the hope of getting one of those cordless angle grinders, they didn't have any, in fact they didn't have quite a few of the "new" tools, most disappointed. I'll go back this week and see what they have. Also went to Lidl and bought a few bits & bobs. Personal preference for tools is Ferrex (Aldi) I just prefer the colours grey/blue but having said that a lot of my tools are Parkside. For what I do they are just fine. Cheers!
Thanks Steve, good to get a heads up on stock levels.. my store seemed really well stocked.. I suppose it depends where you are . As you’ll know I do prefer Lidl.. however the show of tools in Aldi is looking promising . Not sure on the impact driver though.. I’ll do a comparison, cheers Rob
His Aldi is the best in the country - my 2 local shops had less than half of that and you have to be there first thing in the morning as by the evening they're all gone.
Nice selection of stuff there Rob. I think i may have to go look at those tool organisers 🤔 looking forward to you getting back on the lathe. Like i said I've got the entry due monday for you sorry im taking it right to deadline 🤣🤣 speak soon 🫡🏴👍
Hi Rob, have you moved to the dark side........................ Going from Parkside to the Ferrex and Workzone alliance .................. You got some good stuff there mate, Impressed with the 4 amp/h battery the difference in power in your wood planner compared to the 2 amp/h. Like the compass that is hand thing to have, I must say you have spent well and it looks good for the money. As always good to see you and a great video catch you soon, have a good one and take care
@@WeekendShedHead Hi Rob, What a good recommendation , i've just subscribed to Marc's channel Practically blind workshop, I'll give him a watch, thanks mate
Have you seen the lifting and tensioning tool from parkside? You can get two for £14, viking arm , and stanley, dewalt are over £100.for the price they are brilliant. If parkside could improve on the hard release and have something like stanley and dewalt, they would have a winner at a fraction of the cost. Handy for lifting base units or doors and doing laminate flooring tensioning up or adjusting windows when installing, plus many other uses. Brilliant tool in my opinion.
I bought a pair on Thursday night after work, tempted to get another pair as I've not seen them in Lidl before and they didn't look as if they had stocked many, unless they have more in the back of house. Not used them yet but took 1 out the box and seems sturdy enough, holds up to 150kg 👍
Bear with me this relates, I bought myself a WH45 pistol and I have a police type belt that has pouches where I put handy stuff, it had a holster on I am not sure if it was for a pistol or a Tazer but its really handy belt but the HW45 is too big for pouch/holster, especially with a laser/scope then I looked up fleebay and online dealers and to get a holster to fit that could be put on the belt and the prices were a bit shocking. However, yesterday my wife wanted me to pick something up for her and in Aldi, I spotted this tuff nylon toolbelt for about 4 or 5 quid with a pouch that makes a perfect holster that will take the scope, just pick the stitching out for the brand name, add a couple of pouches from police belt for extra storage and it has a clip for a hammer that takes a hand axe, it's perfect as a bushcraft/survival belt for a fiver and to buy something of the equivalent type from a sports shop would frighten any tight-fisted man like myself the holster alone to go onto a belt in this type of material would be probably 25-30 quid one in leather you will need to sell a kidney. I am actually thinking of going back for another one to rob other pouches off/spare clips and stuff it makes a great survival belt and all matching if anybody is into that sort of thing, so for a tenner you would get 2 belts and a load of pouches with spares and a gun holster that will take a pistol with a laser on or scope
I may have to pop to Aldi for that angled ruler. Whether to make a special trip or just when passing. I notice same difference with batteries on circular saw, so always use the bigger ones for that. For tape measure, I think it was thefunnycarpenter channel that went through assessing a tape measure. the three tests that some to mind was how far the tape measure that be pulled out before buckling, Butted vs hooked measurement accuracy, and how far can you throw the tape out (to avoid walking around the other side of the wood being measured). Thanks for sharing the video, entertaining as always.
I must get one of the long scrapers. Like you, I've got a pick up truck and even if I lean over as far as I can (and get filthy in the process - it's a waste of time cleaning it in the winter as it gets dirty again in a day or two) I have a 6 inch bit in the middle of the windscreen and back window that I can't reach.
Got the interlocking tool organiser for my Tig collets and shrouds at work, thought it was a brilliant price for what it was considering the prices for things not as good on amazon. Been after something similar for a while so snapped it right up.
At last, the middle aisle drought is over and the inflatable reindeers and fairy lights are once again consigned to a dusty warehouse 👍. Aldi have had some decent stuff lately, nice haul 👍.
Ill come back once am finished but the compass could be used to make some big bowl blanks when you get bigger lathe 🤣 oh ps my entry will be in your inbox on Monday Cheers Mike 🫡🏴
Hi, when closing a tape measure always put your finger on the bottom of the reel to slow down the retracting speed otherwise its going to rip the metal end clean off the reel.
The combination of your finds which are going to be a god send for lots of people and the practical comments add up to an all you need must watch video with no bullshit. Way to go Sir.
I have reservations about using 12V tools for high current applications like Planers and Routers. It's probably better to consider Brushless tools running 18V or better (or mains tools).
I went to my local Lidl to get the multi tool that they have on offer and they were missed off the delivery lorry, I will try again to see if they come in or it means a bit of a journey to the next store and hope.
Bought the multi tool yesterday, first store said they weren't coming out till next week, so went to next one a few miles away and they had a shelf full of them. Use it today to cut grout out, we'll worth the money, bought the grout blade for extra, £2.
Brought one of those sharpeners from Aldi. Had some sds chisels that were blunt making the work so much harder. The 16.99 spent should make work easier, which is what it should be.
2 weeks ago I bought the Ferrex palm sander and impact driver for £2.99 each , last one of each in store and boxes had been opened BUT they were brand new . Our Aldi didnt have the batteries but I have the ferrex range of tools and I already had the 20v/40 big batteries . Impact driver was spot on but battery didnt fit the palm sander , needs a thinner 20v only battery . Aint crying at that price , will just fork out for a small battery when I need to use it .
Fantastic deal 😃👍 I did wonder on the 20v 4ah fitting on the palm sander., now we know so thanks .. they do have the 2ah ones in now £14.99 😉👍 cheers Rob
Love the the Range of GREY Parkside / Lidl Tools, but coming with FIVE Year Warranty... plus firing their Digital Receipt / Guarantee purchase Docket directly into the Lidl Plus App...what's NOT to Like, SORTED, Great Upload...
I know you like to hear of odd things from Lidl - I built a new smaller shed and was going to get portholes for windows - turns out portholes are very expensive! Soooo upon wandering the middle isle I spotted Lidl version round Pyrex style oven dishes, bish bash bosh a few days and £12 later I had 4 portholes with oven proof rating 😂
So...the impact driver. The button is for high and low torque. The impact driver cutting out is when it's in reverse (auto stop). The button has no bearing on the stopping. It just there on the reverse to stop the screw flying out when you're removing it. I have found one trigger pull for small screws and two for the larger.
I use parkside tools all the time cause i do heavy work and would rather pay a third of the price for a mitre saw and use it for 3 years than pay a fortune for a known make that costs a fortune to maintain but i have to admit my combi drill driver and impact driver are milwaukee mainly cause the batteries are great
Hi pal, just so you know Ah (Amp hour) is not how much power, it's how long it last. If your 2Ah sounds different, probably not fully charged or problem with the voltage of the 2Ah.. The voltage is power.
Thanks mate, I thought the same originally.. however both batteries were fully charged.. and there is a difference.. maybe the 2ah doesn’t hold charge as well on start up 🤔 thanks again cheers Rob
😂yes valid point .. however I’ve also got some cheap drills 6 years old.. no stickiness.. I wonder is it the type of rubber 🤔 time will tell. great comment , cheers Rob
@@WeekendShedHead I meant by drilling into the plastic part of 1 pin and pushing one Into the other, no damage done, can then go back to the original !
No buying for a while and no tinkering. I'm off to have some surgery in the next few weeks, so I don't know when I'll be back in my workshop. Will still be watching though Rob.
I brought a parkside dremel think junk kept shutting down anytime i put presure on it motor ended up burning out so brought a new motor off ebay fitted it now its quicker and doesn't shut down
The Pafkside 310 watt multitool (oscillating saw) is good value @ £15,99! The hard part.................................FINDING STOCK ! People are buying up the whole lot !!! Probably turning up on Ebay at a vastly inflated price !!!!
I was in Lidl this morning.. same story all the multitools gone .. shocking how they get snapped up.. should be limit qty per person. Good luck mate Cheers Rob
Has anyone had problems with the parkside dremel type of multi tool not charging? Ive used mine 4 times and after the last time i just cannot get it to charge. It just flashes all 3 lights - red/ yellow/green but no matter how long u have it charging it work. Any advice on how to kick start the internal battery pls?
That angle finder would be mint for boarding out inside of shed ends, when you have to find out the angle of pitched or pent roofs, those that know will get what I mean, I’d pay triple that price at times for that thing!! Anyone want to buy one and post it to me, I will pay double plus postage! 🙏👍
I do like ferrex tools but their 5Ah batteries fail within a couple of uses, especially if you use their angle grinders. The amps they draw screws with the balance between the cells and the 5Ah batteries refuse to charge after 1-2 uses. 😢
@WeekendShedHead I've got their 20v and 40v grinder. Both have destroyed the 20/40v batteries. So I've got two dead batteries. Weirdly I only used the Move grinder once before the Brand New 20/40v batteries refused to charge.
Used to buy a other of Aldi and lidl tools but unfortunately when I ever needed to claim on the warranty it was an absolute farce. Still buy some of their hand tools and drill bits, grinding discs as I can't fault them for the price. The only Two power tools that have held up so far are a Parkside impact driver and angle grinder from lidl. They seem to be bullet proof. Spent some more money and went down the dewalt road and never looked back. Not trying to be a dick or anything just telling you my experience 👍
Fantastic comments mate, despite you having issues it helps everyone else’s making a decision when buying a tool 👍 so big thanks.. one day I’ll make a video on warranty etc.. see who else has experienced problems.. I’ve heard of a few. Cheers Rob
About 3 years ago I bought one of these Ferrex Impact Drivers from Aldi. It packed up the third time I used it. No prob? Its under guarantee, right? It actually took me 8 months to get my money back. Customer Services were totally unhelpful (or had no idea what the machine was/should do/or how it was used. And little about their own returns/replacement policy.) After 5 months they finally offered to replace it and were most put out when I told them that, because of the delay, I had bought one from Wickes (which is still working like new...touch wood!) and then told me that I should have waited!!!! I will NEVER buy Ferrex or tools from Aldi again.
Many thanks for sharing your experiences… at some point I’ll bring a video out asking if people have had warranty etc issues.. I’ve heard a few people who have . Cheers Rob
Should've gone the whole hog with the big floor circle and turned into a pentagram...ideal for those impromptu satanic rituals. 😂 In all fairness, I'll be looking out for one of those angled rulers later today, cheers for the heads up! 👍
As far as I know last Thursday was the 1st day in a long time that tools have been out on the middle at Aldi ( a good range at least ) . Hope you find a store with good stock Cheers Rob
I only buy the brushless cordless tools these days... more power, better build and no worries about getting brushes in a 4 years time... plus, the Parkside brushless Teamx20 Performance gear has a FIVE YEAR guarantee !!... 🤗 (not a Ferrex fan btw) Sub and a like, mate 🤗 😎👍☘️🍻 (edit.. dropped over to Marks and subbed and liked, he's a good 'un !..thanks for spreading his channel)
@WeekendShedHead I had a bunch of the green tools and when the black brushless started coming out I upgraded all my tools and gave the old brushed ones to a neighbour... the brushless are much better built in my opinion and that 5 yr warranty is ridiculous !!... rock on Lidls !!... 🤗😂
@2.27 I'd avoid the Flexible drain cleaner, it didn't fit through the holes in my sink or bath. The trigger just pulls on a cable to expand four plastic brushes and you then have to manually manouver the entire thing to scrub. Complete garbage.
Blind garage Scotland is my utube channel I’m totally blind and fix an maintain a fleet ofclassicfords ..I have subscribed t tat wood guy if that therite one
Aldi has nothing worth having their middle isle is abysmal better off going better off going to Lidl they have far more and a lot more variety and in most case it's also cheaper
Lurking in all that was something that really annoys me. Why do we go along with the marketing men and call them "precision screwdrivers", when they're really just small screwdrivers. Nothing more precise about them than any other screwdriver - and the slotted head ones cam out just as much - no precision at all!
I have thought about yes.. although I already have a Clarke mig welder.. I think it’ll be good to give a stick welder a go or a plasma cutter .. maybe this year 👍 cheers Rob

Their tools have Certainly been good for me .. and yes the Lidl plus is very handy .. thanks for sharing buddy , cheers Rob
👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍cheers
I know you like to hear of odd things from Lidl - I built a new smaller shed and was going to get portholes for windows - turns out portholes are very expensive! Soooo upon wandering the middle isle I spotted Lidl version round Pyrex style oven dishes, bish bash bosh a few days and £12 later I had 4 portholes with oven proof rating 😂
Pyrex portholes sounds awesome. Keep an eye out for circular pizza trays and then you can do metal surrounds 😂
😃😃fantastic idea buddy .. brilliant, it must be like looking out into space 😂 and yes oven proof 😂😂👌 cheers Rob
I went to aldi today , and the precision screwdriver I was looking for 2.99, crimping tool 7.99.
Thanks for all the information 👍 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great stuff 👍 cheers Rob
The angle bracket set @ £2.99 is great value (Aldi)
Thanks for feedback mate 👍 I’m surprised how many brackets you get for the money 😃👍 cheers Rob
So...the impact driver. The button is for high and low torque.
The impact driver cutting out is when it's in reverse (auto stop). The button has no bearing on the stopping. It just there on the reverse to stop the screw flying out when you're removing it. I have found one trigger pull for small screws and two for the larger.
😃 cheers for the explanation, it’s back in the box for now until I dig deeper and do a comparison video 👍 cheers Rob
Disappointed we didn't see you sporting the Parkside bumbag thats new in my local store this week 😂😂😂
😂😂 for me.. a step too far 😂👍 cheers mate
I Know-how rubber works in the boudoir but you will have to enlighten us to the use of magnets haha
😂 now that’ll be telling 😂😉 cheers
I use parkside tools all the time cause i do heavy work and would rather pay a third of the price for a mitre saw and use it for 3 years than pay a fortune for a known make that costs a fortune to maintain but i have to admit my combi drill driver and impact driver are milwaukee mainly cause the batteries are great
Great way of looking at tool purchase choices 👍 cheers Rob
Lots of food stuff which probably last longer than half of them power tools
Maybe the tinned foods 😂👍 cheers Rob
Hi pal, just so you know Ah (Amp hour) is not how much power, it's how long it last. If your 2Ah sounds different, probably not fully charged or problem with the voltage of the 2Ah.. The voltage is power.
Thanks mate, I thought the same originally.. however both batteries were fully charged.. and there is a difference.. maybe the 2ah doesn’t hold charge as well on start up 🤔 thanks again cheers Rob
ua-cam.com/video/WD2Pe4MIuSA/v-deo.htmlsi=LmgbwbfgInH8glhu. The higher ah actually performs better weird isn’t it
Mad 😂🤣😂
Cheers, I think 😂
8:27 i call that tape the Mr.T 😂
😂
Can you change the blades if you hit a Nail/Screw/Tack ?
Yes, they undo and remove 👍 I’ve done a full video on it about a week ago ., check it out 👍 cheers Rob
I’m in the North of Ireland we don’t have Aldi mate where could I get that Angle Ruler ?
Can’t help you buddy.. I wonder is there an equivalent brand ? Cheers Rob
@@WeekendShedHead we have Lidle
Subbed to Marcs channel
Great 😉😃 cheers Rob
What do you do when the ruber gets older and it's sticky and horrible to touch?
😂yes valid point .. however I’ve also got some cheap drills 6 years old.. no stickiness.. I wonder is it the type of rubber 🤔 time will tell. great comment , cheers Rob
👍👍
Cheers 👍
Do the steel compass pins fit together, to about same length as the Pencil ?
I’d say about half the size of the pencil.. when closed together buddy , cheers
@@WeekendShedHead I meant by drilling into the plastic part of 1 pin and pushing one Into the other, no damage done, can then go back to the original !
@@felgate11oh I see what you mean.. I’ll check 😉👍 good call 👍
No buying for a while and no tinkering. I'm off to have some surgery in the next few weeks, so I don't know when I'll be back in my workshop. Will still be watching though Rob.
All the best Jim, you’ll be back in your workshop in no time mate 😉👍in the mean time relax and enjoy some videos on UA-cam . Take care, cheers Rob
Rubber and magnets........ reminds me of my honeymoon 😂
😂😂👌
I brought a parkside dremel think junk kept shutting down anytime i put presure on it motor ended up burning out so brought a new motor off ebay fitted it now its quicker and doesn't shut down
The Pafkside 310 watt multitool (oscillating saw) is good value @ £15,99! The hard part.................................FINDING STOCK ! People are buying up the whole lot !!! Probably turning up on Ebay at a vastly inflated price !!!!
I was in Lidl this morning.. same story all the multitools gone .. shocking how they get snapped up.. should be limit qty per person.
Good luck mate
Cheers Rob
There’s never any of these things in our local Aldi, we’ve loads of dark scrubbers in ours
It’s a shame some Aldi stores don’t stock as much , thanks for commenting , cheers Rob
Got the 2 precision screw driver sets and a couple of multi tool blades from Lidl
Hope they working ok for you , thanks for commenting, cheers Rob
@ no problem and yea the diamond blade looks like it fitted my Dewalt and the precision I got for ps5 pad
Thanks for the comment, be interesting to see if anyone else has had similar. .. I’ll bring it up in a video at some point , cheers Rob
Do they have the ferrex batteries there ?
Yes they were in 20v 2ah £14.99 buddy , cheers Rob
That angle finder would be mint for boarding out inside of shed ends, when you have to find out the angle of pitched or pent roofs, those that know will get what I mean, I’d pay triple that price at times for that thing!! Anyone want to buy one and post it to me, I will pay double plus postage! 🙏👍
I see what you mean on the pitch.. great shout ! Hopefully you get one, cheers Rob
I do like ferrex tools but their 5Ah batteries fail within a couple of uses, especially if you use their angle grinders. The amps they draw screws with the balance between the cells and the 5Ah batteries refuse to charge after 1-2 uses. 😢
Big thanks for your feedback buddy , mine seem ok with my grinder .. but now I’ll investigate further 👍 cheers Rob
@WeekendShedHead I've got their 20v and 40v grinder. Both have destroyed the 20/40v batteries. So I've got two dead batteries. Weirdly I only used the Move grinder once before the Brand New 20/40v batteries refused to charge.
Are the batteries compatible with each other lidl/aldi
Unfortunately not 🤨 it’s a shame I know , cheers Rob
Cheers
Rob
That must be the only Aldi that had prices with the items ….
Recent purchase of ceramic heaters from local store reduced to £19.99. So I bought 2!
I did look at them… but didn’t need any .. looked good value though 👍 , cheers Rob
And little about their own returns/replacement policy.)
After 5 months they finally offered to replace it and were most put out when I told them that, because of the delay, I had bought one from Wickes (which is still working like new...touch wood!) and then told me that I should have waited!!!!
I will NEVER buy Ferrex or tools from Aldi again.
Many thanks for sharing your experiences… at some point I’ll bring a video out asking if people have had warranty etc issues.. I’ve heard a few people who have .
Cheers
Rob
The earlier Parkside tools had completely different 12v batteries across their range, was so annoying!
Oh didn’t know that, yes I can see that being very annoying , thanks for commenting , cheers Rob
Adventures with Anders his been going for 7/8yrs
That is a while.. only recently been building his shed though 👍 cheers Rob
I'm barred from the middle isle's
You and many others mate 😂 most blame my channel 😂 cheers Rob
Should've gone the whole hog with the big floor circle and turned into a pentagram...ideal for those impromptu satanic rituals. 😂 In all fairness, I'll be looking out for one of those angled rulers later today, cheers for the heads up! 👍
😂😂 I like it. I might give it a go 😂 cheers Rob
Are all aldi's the same in terms of the middle isle, local aldi always seems rubbish for tools.
As far as I know last Thursday was the 1st day in a long time that tools have been out on the middle at Aldi ( a good range at least ) .
Hope you find a store with good stock
Cheers Rob
I only buy the brushless cordless tools these days... more power, better build and no worries about getting brushes in a 4 years time... plus, the Parkside brushless Teamx20 Performance gear has a FIVE YEAR guarantee !!... 🤗
(not a Ferrex fan btw)
Sub and a like, mate 🤗
😎👍☘️🍻
(edit.. dropped over to Marks and subbed and liked, he's a good 'un !..thanks for spreading his channel)
Thanks for feedback buddy , didn’t realise the brushless had 5YRS 😃 I suppose makes sense, thanks for checking out Marc 👍 cheers Rob
Power tools with battery what's the point?
Sub’d to all 3 channels 🤙🏼🇦🇺
Great stuff💪 ., hope you enjoy , cheers Rob
You’re going to need a bigger workshop.
😂You’re not half wrong bud

He's waiting for a Parkside shed to come in... 🙄😂
😎👍☘️🍻
@ I recon if they bring a Parkside shed out he’ll be moving his bed into it.
I would love to see aldi being a bit more competitive with their range of tool options, lidl is still better
At the Moment, I’d have to agree. Parkside are massively in front 👍 cheers Rob
why they never come with batterys is beyond me
@2.27 I'd avoid the Flexible drain cleaner, it didn't fit through the holes in my sink or bath. The trigger just pulls on a cable to expand four plastic brushes and you then have to manually manouver the entire thing to scrub. Complete garbage.
My wife says iam not allowed to have any more tools where is she going to get rid of them when I pass away it’s all junk to her
Yeh 😂 many older husbands may hav this issu😮
I’ve had similar comments 😂😂 cheers Rob
Blind garage Scotland is my utube channel I’m totally blind and fix an maintain a fleet ofclassicfords ..I have subscribed t tat wood guy if that therite one
Oh wow 😃 I’ll check it out! I’ve always been a fan of classic fords.. when I was younger had a mk2 xr2 .. loved it , wish I had it now ! Cheers Rob
Cant level the table, so no good, nice thought though, 💯
😉👍 cheers
Please put your cotton buds into a plastic bag.
Good point 👍 cheers Rob
Buying tools from Aldi is like buying products from china poor quality equals short lifespan.
Thanks for your opinion , cheers Rob
Aldi has nothing worth having their middle isle is abysmal better off going better off going to Lidl they have far more and a lot more variety and in most case it's also cheaper
Also I do prefer Lidl.. but I must admit what I’ve picked ain’t too bad for the money , cheers Rob
The wife got me all of the power tools for a fiver each after she’s put a 75% off sticker on them.
Wow 😮 now that’s a bargain mate 👌 cheers Rob
Lurking in all that was something that really annoys me. Why do we go along with the marketing men and call them "precision screwdrivers", when they're really just small screwdrivers. Nothing more precise about them than any other screwdriver - and the slotted head ones cam out just as much - no precision at all!
Have you thought about buying their Welders
I have thought about yes.. although I already have a Clarke mig welder.. I think it’ll be good to give a stick welder a go or a plasma cutter .. maybe this year 👍 cheers Rob
What annoys me about both Lidi and Aldi items not being priced up have to keep on asking staff that's if you can find one, to ask.
I’ve heard similar in other stores.. I must admit my store isn’t bad , cheers Rob
