Bought one of those as my 25 year old jigsaw got a little banged up. Cut through 4x4 old fence posts with no bother. Spot on!

Thanks Rob, that looked surprisingly good and if you're already on the battery platform it's a no brainer ! Ideally you'd have one of each saws but if you can only afford one or have limited space this could be a good compromise I guess ! Always fun, so thanks again !

Hi Rob, Tidy Parkside jigsaw and sabre saw, just the job looks like your happy with it, going to Lidl is not like going to the supermarket it's like going to a tool warehouse but with big savings, nice... Good demonstration and showing what it can do and does it with ease that is a quality tool for little money. As always a great video, catch you soon mate, take care

The impact driver, drill and that saw are brilliant. I use the saw all the time, I don’t use a handsaw at all now. I cut timber in the sabre position. I’ve also used it to trim trees branches. I’d recommend it. If your going to cut loads a
Circular saw might be better, but for a quick cutting on odd jobs, it’s the tool for the job.

Nice review 👍. I've already got the 20V jigsaw and sabre saw and they are cracking bits of kit. It's about time Parkside did a 20V router and then I'd have every option covered 👍.

Hi Rob, I bought one of these last year (since then I have bought seperate Parkside X20 Jigsaw and X20 Sabresaw). I think that for a DIYer this is a fantastic saw. I have used it to cut bits of wood and also used it in the garden to carry out the odd bit of pruning. By the way they also do a X20 Battery chainsaw (last time it came around I think it was £60-70). But this is graet at what i have used it for and useful when I opo and see my Mum or sister as I only need to take the and the drill with me and they cover the majority of bits that I may get asked to do - you know the comment "oh, while your here could you just / would you mind looking at ?". Cracking video as ever. Cheers.

nice review of the saw there rob ...... the way your buying aka collecting you might need another shed to store them all in :) especially like the twist and lock feature for the blade like you said its a bleep having allen head screws and over time the bleep head rounds it self ( well did for me ) and like someone else said rather envious of the tools you are able to buy cant seem to get that brand in new zealand and if we could they wouldnt be your price range - a black and decker 18v drill with 1.5ah battery and charger will set you back $99nz and thats just a example of how much were ripped off - but on the plus side if something breaks down stores by law are required to fix / refund / replace and it doesnt matter if the warrenty has expired

Don't think it does, but does the trigger lock open? If it does that could be proper useful (without a blade in it) as a standing vibration thingy if you're messing with plaster, silicon or resin deep casts to get the bubbles to rise.

Three year warranty completely pointless on any electric tools brought from Lidl or Aldi because they don’t do spare parts for these tools if they go wrong they will send them back and eventually come back offering you a new tool if they still even make the total at the time or a refund You cannot get spare parts for Harley anything that Parkside make the warrant is only good as long as they’re still got the tool in the stores and they can change it outside of that it’s pointless trust me. I’ve been there and I know they even tried to fuck me off with a voucher for the store so instead of getting another tool I could buy some bread with the money stay well clear of this rubbish at least by a entry level main brand tall at least you can get spare parts for them
