I wonder how much I’ve missed out or got wrong this week 😂 Thanks for watching.. there are millions of UA-cam videos out there, I’m blown away by the fact you watch mine. !! Comment if you like Like if you like Subscribe if you like CHEERS !
Just a quick tip, when you are trying to line up new orbital sander sheets, pop a couple of wooden dowels in opposite holes on the sander as a guide and the paper lines up perfectly, do not forget to take out the dowels before you start sanding..LOL.
Thanks Rob. No to rub it in (much!) I got the calipers for the £2.99 up here in Scotland! Just gotta remember to remove the battery when in storage. Take care & stay safe.
When you watch your video you’ll probably notice that the callipers turned them self on, I bought some a couple of weeks ago a had that problem so before closing the box, I lock mine on zero. Loving your videos here in Wales, keep up great work
@@bayadere8308 I’ve got other callipers that seem to pulse very dimly when I’ve opened the box before now so just assuming they’d been switched on for ages
Another great video. I didn't buy the digital calipers as I already have several but I did buy the angle measurer so I can confirm looking at the case in your video that the case mine came in looks like it would stack together.
I have some digital calipers from Lidl that I bought yonks ago. They suffer from a problem where the battery runs flat if it's left in. I think it's a rebrand of a Chinese set. Big Clive did a video modifying some to fix the issue. Your new one looks different, so hopefully it will be fine.
You picked up some cool tools Once you get a caliper you'll find yourself using it for a lot of tasks. I use it for mechanical work on Autos, Motorcycles etc., love it. Now you'll be saving time with the sprayer. Definitely want to read the directions to find what kind of paint you can and can't use. I say that because I bought one, didn't read about and then clogged it up. Cool video Rob. PARKSIDE!!
Hey Rob.....I have an electric version of the sprayer which is fine for fences etc but I have to say a battery version looks quicker and easier (if it works ok!) I think though for "finer" quality.....airline is still best but its a faff to set up!! thanks as always for the content and videos
Hi Rob ( AKA Mr Parkside ) Hope your well, got more Parkside bargains even paint brushes are always handy in the workshop, brushing away dust from tools and other stuff. The thing is your one up on me, I'm not even an amateur.........🤣 Always need orbital sanding sheets and those triangle sheets for my Black and Decker Mouse sander. Enjoy you bargains mate and see what you get next, as always good to see you , catch you soon Take care😎👍👍
I have the belt sander, and I'm having a problem with the belts they keep slipping all the way to the right, even when I've centred them, once I start to use it it just slips over. Any idea why. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Rob major point do not leave the battery in when not in use as these types of batteries leak very easily so remember remove the battery and it will last you for ages . If you don’t it will soon rot the connections
I bought a plastic Vernier Gauge and modified it to make a depth gauge for my drill press. Really useful if you need to replicate a drilling action. You could put that one to good use?
Like you, I'm partial to a Middle of Lidl purchase, and, as long as I'm realistic in my expectations, I'm rarely disappointed. The one frustrating thing is that the stuff isn't available all the time. Do you, or anyone else here, know if, for instance, the Parkside products crop up on a fairly regular cycle? I'm not talking about seasonal stuff (eg garden or BBQ items) but say, this paint sprayer? Is it likely to be available again in 6 months time? Or this time next year? Do they follow a regular order (eg drill followed by paint sprayer followed by whatever is available next)? Or is it completely random? Are particular tools usually available the same time each year? Sounds like it needs a spreadsheet to keep track of it all, has anyone started one yet?
I really don’t know John.. I think this is definitely worth looking deeper into 🤔 spreadsheet.. or some sort of database that can be filled in by all parkside fans .. great comment John, I’ll see if I can look further into it! 😃 cheers Rob
Hi just to say the paint spray works great had one for about a year used on a few projects also I have a parkside to dewalt battery adapter as I found the parkside haven’t got as much power as the dewalt battery and the tools go up another level with better batteries
Hi, where do you stand on 3D printers. Do you have one, have you ever considered one, do you think they're the tool of the devil? Do you have a PO box? I have some 3D prints you may appreciate.
Hey buddy.. one day I’d like to get a 3d printer, and I’ve seen some fantastic prints😃.. not got a P.O. Box yet .. my email is in my description, cheers Rob
I was eyeing some the 12v stuff, but unless you bought a battery months ago there's no chance. I don't see the point of stocking tools but not having batteries.
@@SiskinOnUTube In our local Lidl they have hidden the batteries away as they were being stolen, if you want a battery then you need to as at the checkout.

Those callipers are decent, I've got a set from many years ago and they've held up extremely well 👍.
Thanks for the feedback 😃👍 cheers Rob
I bought the Wagner fence and decking sprayer. Not had decent enough weather to use it yet. Had it for six months now.
I got a wagner too,works a treat,absolutely brilliant for fence panels

yep i do the same you cant realy put faith in cheap tools thats why there cheap
They also turn themselves off after approximately 4 minutes if not used. A good feature for a cheap tool...

Can i ask a sily question why do you only were one gluv is because of a tattoo ??.
The sprayer would be better if it csme with a battery and charger.
It would but I think you’d be paying a lot more plus good to have it bare.. as there are lots of other tools using the same batteries 👍 cheers Rob
