In 1998-1999, when I started playing this game, I remember completing this mission in 10 days. This Commandos has been the best gave ever that you want to play over and over again.

I used to kill everyone on this game XDD

They left one witness in the end to tell the story of what happened there. 😆

Man, I always tried to take down the enemy one by one. Didn’t know it could work this way.

Back in 2000s. I tried to kill all of the enemy before blowing up the island without any “alarm alarm”. Costed me a lot of time.

Where can i get this full version of this commandos game???i have a demo version which has only two stages and i want full version now.

I've just finished this game in 2024. I couldn't finish it when I was a teenager, so I took the time in my adulthood to complete it, and watched every one of your videos after ending a mission! Thanks for sharing them! QQ: Not sure why they don't raise the alarm when you kill the gunner with the sniper, there were many nazis there, and my case they raise it always when trying to kill that one.

lol, it took me a long time to finish it, but I did not sound any alarm, and I did it totally differently. Man you made it look so easy 🤣🤣

Probably the way that he's playing is not fun anymore more, he already watched Manuals, Instruction, etc, but still, probably he used to finish at his first time just like us. Failing learning and now may be he just do for videos

Every country removes the painted identification numbers (called the hull numbers) from ships, submarines, et cetera when participating in a war. The U-boats shown would therefore not still have numbers on them, as they would in peacetime. Failing to remove the numbers would be a series crime. It is simply too dangerous, because it provides spies, reconnaissance aircraft, and other such assets with a huge amount of useful information. Painting the numbers back onto a ship or submarine when the war is over is considered to have ceremonial importance as one of the ways of showing respect for the crew’s professionalism and achievements.

When I was much younger, I remember someone leaving a review for BEL somewhere I can't recall. The person falsely believed that when the manufacturer Eidos claimed they worked on the historical accuracy of this game series, they must have been lying. He wrongly assumed that the "Green Beret" character, O’Hara, was supposed to represent a member of the US Army Special Forces, also called Green Berets. Their unit was not established until 1952. This is preposterous since the UK's Parachute Regiment is also colloquially known as Green Berets or Paras, and it was established in 1942. Talk about Americentrism-I would have expected this person to show more respect for events in which more than 75 million people died by learning more about WWII than just the bare minimum. In a way, I found that reviewer's lack of attention to be almost as disrespectful as burning a flag, interrupting a national anthem, or spitting on a veteran’s grave. When I was a child, I saw someone in the US who not only failed to stand for the playing of a foreign national anthem, but who purposely interrupted it by playing an American patriotic rock song from a boom box at top volume.

In this mission you can see the dead elephant Beside you can enter that elephant there is a Fun fact: It's not just random scenery detail The first German bomb thrown on Belgrade April the 6th 1941 killed an elephant in Belgrade zoo. Nice touch by devs Greetings from Serbia ❤

Definitely not how I completed this mission, I can remember landing in the left corner of the map and then slowly and methodically eliminating most enemies on the map, before reaching the tank and taking out the alerted guards. Decoy and trap was used a lot. We didn't have youtube back then!

Did anyone use light truck and conveyor belt like level designers suggested? :D Light truck never worked for me, conveyor belt doesn't save a lot of time either

One of the best game i have ever played. Be it storyline, strategy, characters, ease of playing. Brilliant! Hope someday it's compatible with today's computer.

Randomly remembered this game. I was 11 or 12 when it came out. It looks like they're making either a new game or a remake for this year!

Man, the feelings while watching this. My dad bought me a PC magazine which included a CD with many demo´s of games. One was this one, i remember it was winter and i got to play this mission and the mission where you had to destroy the dam. Man that was 25 years ago😢. Would love to get a new Commandos game done like this one or BEyond the call of duty, those were the only Commandos games as far as i am concerned, the rest are not even close.

You made this game so easy to play while I spent hours completing a single mission 😅
