it seems i am the only guy who can't pass any commandos mission except first free without loading save once and once again. I can't even imagine how u passing it all from the first try, with no saves,no alarms etc etc.How many times u passed this mission to make it perfect? It's impossible for me.Old games are all like this, only hardcore. That;s also why i love and hate commandos at the same time.
I remember having an ongoing discussion about this mission with a class mate of mine, in highschool. "It's the 13th!" "No. Dude. It's the 15th!" "It's the 13th, dude!" "No, it's the 15th!"
Oh man I also had an experience with my old classmate about this mission. Back when I was in elementary, I was unable to get pass mission 8 (with only beret and sniper) so I never saw the missions after that. One morning on the school bus a classmate of mine just randomly gave me a password for the game, I wrote it down and tried it out after school and it led to this mission.
I dont like sniping 3 guys in the same posse, they always manage to shout alarm before i get them all. Well 9/10 times. Instead I used the truck driver and ran them 3 over at speed when their backs were turned lol.
Easy mission. As long as you knock out that three-man patrol there are actually no more problems. I didn't kill them though, so it's a bit more complicated. By the way, the ship is still impressive, it's gigantic.
To solve the submarine problem, click in the same places you click from 14:25 to 14:31. Once he has done that maneuver, the submarine will be able to safely drive.
Goodbye, Saharan regions of Africa, hello, Western Europe and the chance at liberation. With this mission in mind, one should know that the Commandos series is not set on a world based on ours. The idea of a third Bismarck-class sure bugs many a historian. Nice to see an operational Biber minisub here. Not many works of fiction talk about such vehicles.
I tried to move up submarine one hundred times, and I don't know that's a problem, but submarine stay and don't move. And ob the one hundred first time it start to move, it's a miracle!
one of the easy mission first kill with diver two patrol soldiers near truck with knife and driver can block the panzer after just use a supper with trap and kill the patrol one to one, its takes time but its more secure and the rest is pice of cake . Hold ctrl to shout with submarine
Actually managed to sink the mini sub and destroy the truck in this mission but unfortunately couldnt destroy the tank with the truck no matter how its positioned
I did not really enjoy this new version because it makes the driver useless on some missions. This mission had two patrol boats to blow up. The mission 9 had a escape truck to drive. Anyway, nice gameplay dude!
The goddamn mission briefing didn't say anything about blowing up the fuel tanks and I wasted my bomb on the tank warehouse! Now I can't complete the mission cos even blowing up the car in front of the fuel tanks won't work
Yup. Same thing just happened to me. Used a password to get to the next mission because I don't feel like doing all that again just because the briefing was insufficient.
Is there any way that I can contact you Sir (the one who owns this UA-cam Channel). I truly wish to reach out to you. Please respond Sir! With deep respect and admiration! ♥️♥️♥️
The guy said the French would help put four man there. Did one of them (two assuming the squad leader is close by) had to be transported by the U.S. Or something?
Yeah, the argument for this one was very weak. And besides, Tirpitz or no Tirpitz, it would do jack to the invasion force. It would have been sunk before even getting into range. Also, torpedoing the bow wasn´t going to sink the battleship. Still an awesome game. I wish we could see Commandos IV one day... Meanwhile, we have Shadow Warrior: Blades of the Shogun to keep us company.
Actually it is possible. First, the watertight doors could be left open to facilitate movement inside. And they didn't expect anything at the time. Second, the torpedo hit the Sailmaker's Store, according to the original plans of the Bismarck. So the internal fire was caused by things stored there. Not to mention, the bow was not armoured, as typical in "Everything or Nothing" scheme of placing armour on warships.
Well, without taking damage control from the crew into account, yeah, it is a possibility. Hell, a leak can sink a battleship provided there is enough time. You are correct in that the torpedo protection didnt run the entire hull, but a successful hit is only the first step. Compartmentalisation, counterflooding and, above all, the huge reserve buoyancy 50,000 tons give you would have made a sinking very unlikely. The Bismarck was a design with flaws, but it could take one torpedo.
This mission didn't really make much sense from a historical point of view. The Germans never again bothered to build another battleship akin to Bismarck & Tirpitz. Once Bismarck was sunk, that was it. Tirpitz spent most of her time confined to Norway, only using her main armament in a single engagement once in September 1943, bombarding Allied positions in Spitzbergen. She took no other offensive action. It had been intended to use her to intercept Allied convoys bound for the Soviet Union, but these attempts were largely abandoned. British Enigma intercepts allowed the Royal Navy to monitor where and when Tirpitz was being deployed and they had sufficient ships ready to counter her. Hitler had forbidden any attempt for Tirpitz to return to Germany, given the overwhelming presence of the Royal Navy its clear she never would have made it home had the attempt been made. Instead she largely served as a "fleet in being", her mere presence ensuring a portion of the Royal Navy's fleet would be tied up to keep her contained. By May 1944 (the time of this mission), Allied air power was overwhelming. The idea in this mission that a battleship would sail out to patrol the Normandy coast is frankly ridiculous. Even if such a ship had existed it just wouldn't have happened. Any German ship trying to enter the Channel or move along the Normandy coast would be easy pickings for the RAF or the significant numbers of Royal Navy ships that dominated the waters there.
There is a special hell for the game developer who was in charge of the operation of the submarine.
Absolutely

Great idea!
How do i get the damn submarine to work ?
At one point the commando was in clear eye sight of the enemy yet he didn't raise alarm!
Yeah, that did happen on the outer borders where there's not even an enemy garrison.

i think i am the only one who cant shoot the ship with the submarine... there is not the option for shooting.... anyone who can help me?

Did you know that you can also have the Driver use the cannon on the dock to blow up the patrol boat at the end of the mission?
Yes, I know that. Firing the torpedo just feels more fun to me :)
That's why they added him in the mission lol
@@pipea13 Point taken! Although the Driver also needs to move the truck in front of the garage to block the tank (which is essential for success).

Well, pretty simple - At the time, Tirpitz was crippled in Norway, and couldn't leave the fjords anymore.
Actually it is possible. First, the watertight doors could be left open to facilitate movement inside. And they didn't expect anything at the time.
Second, the torpedo hit the Sailmaker's Store, according to the original plans of the Bismarck. So the internal fire was caused by things stored there. Not to mention, the bow was not armoured, as typical in "Everything or Nothing" scheme of placing armour on warships.
well, i meant why they just didnt make mission to sabotage tirpitz. no conection with d-day was needed
