Oh, so that's how you're supposed to blow the bridge up ? Used only one charge on the central pillar, looked quite destroyed to me. But then, when I've reached the extraction point, the game told me I've missed the objectives.
I remember there is a tank at the other side of the river next to this bridge, and you are basically done if you just get into the tank. Strangely, it seems that nobody would like to use the tank (I also watched some other videos about this mission). Did I play a different version of this game when I was young?
late answer here, yes there is a tank. but you can just use it on the left side of the mission because there are some anti tank barricades at the bridge (13:56) and you dont have to kill all the soldiers on the left side
I also see it now. There is a difference between the English version of this game and the Chinese version (that I used to play). In Chinese version, the tank can go across the bridge. Some parts in the Chinese version are easier (like in this mission, your tank can go across the bridge), while some parts are harder (for example, you cannot use a hand grenade to destroy a Panther IV; another example is that there is an extra enemy boat on Mission 13). your harpoon is so fast how could it been possible?
1) fire (LMB), 2) cancel (RMB), 3) select harpoon again (J) - repeat this fast enough and you can take out 3-5 enemies before anyone notices

Yesterday I managed to pass this level without landing at the opposite river’s bank.
had the Germans won that war we would have been killing the allied troops in this game!
