i never realized that i could put the bomb there. I always blow the bunker and then land at the base of the dam and blow it up. Your way is much simpler!
The mission briefing tells that damaging the dam will result in overflowing of water and turn off electricity but the main objective is to cause flooding which will damage and disrupt Nazi movement on water bodies with the electricity outage being a nice side effect. So obviously making even small cracks in the dam will be enough to cause overflow. Tho I'm just assuming here xP

The way he plays, it looks more like a movie. Even watching this, I get worried at some points, but he's so cool even with the clunky control problems sometimes he has to deal with.

By the beginning of 1944, the Germans had a Garrison 370,000 in strength stationed in Norway!! That's a ridiculous number of men to be sitting around on merely garrison duty when for Germany, a good portion of those men were needed east and west. Then again, that was the point of the Commando raids - tie down troops on garrison duty that then wouldn't be fighting elsewhere. In all, twelve Commando raids were directed against Norway throughout WW2.
fucking, goddammit, I tried everything, I stole both bombs, blew up the guard shack by the dam first, then rafted to the foot of the dam and set another bomb, and never made it out on time. SO I just had to get both with one bomb, I would have never figured that out.
Specifically hold Shift+click on enemy. You can also place a marker anywhere on the ground and the first guard that can see you mark will display his vision. This is done with the same commands.

0:49: Supposed to be "hydroelectric." The Spy sure is one OP son of a gun (same for the Marine), although it kinda irks me that his identity wasn't compromised after every one of these daunting operations. (Funny that he foreshadows the existence of Team Fortress 2's one Spy.) In the meantime, I'm waiting for the series resident female operative, the Seductress, to show up.
The nostalgia is incredible... I remember the days playing this as a kid..

Yeah it was on the demo! My grandmother got me the demo version back in 1998 and it only had 4 missions to play including this one (Mission 3)!
