Not sure if it's due to the acceleration bug fix on the version I'm using on Steam or something else, but one thing I've noticed that makes it harder for me to do these levels similar to you is that the Diver has nowhere near the range on the Harpoon gun that you get. I have to get pretty close to them for the crosshair to change from the cancel or not possible sign.
"Officer, Command acknowledges your good performance. However, the next mission is most urgent and demands an exceptional leader. It has been given to another officer of lieutenant rank. Thank you, that will be all." It doesn't give me the password for completing the level. Never watched the walkthrough video, not going to too, so it took me around 10 hours. I guess I'll have to complete it again but much faster. Anyone else with the same problem?
In the newer versions of the game you must achieve the rank of capitan to be able to play the last mission. After each mission your performance is evaluated by the time spent and by injuries suffered only. The lesser, the better. Guess you'll have to replay the game faster.

@@RahamanG4Tzi Like I said, it's not the performance in mission 19, but the ranking earned during the entire game. Just try to cheat each level to achieve the maximum score and you will no longer see this message after mission 19.
Its very nice to watch after pass or in some tip, but the most fun its the differents strategies. I've killed everybody kkkkk Started from the Up just Shooting with Pistol without Alarm and killed a lot there, after that was more sillence and commit a litle mistake using my 2 bombs puting after run in front of the tank 1 to explode the tank and the safe house and another to explode the guarnission. After I used the Dog several times to bring me the enemies to me. When I saw in Test the Barril dont explode the Tower, I used the video. But was to late...but i saw was possivle to move bellow the tower, so I Runned there, used the sniper to explode all barrils, and get the boat to max the right, got some shots but Scaped with good rank
I am returning to this game again after several years of not playing it. Still fantastic, but some missions are VERY difficult for me. You make these missions seem easy, but even after watching your gameplay, and following step by step, I still get frustrated because the enemies don't always act the same as you have shown, and sometimes your reactions and moves are so quick I take 20 tries to do them. Maybe I am using a newer version that has some differences.
Here is my strategy for this round: Use Sniper as Human decoy right at the beginning, kill the guy on top of the mine, then sneak to the otherside of the river, while marine swim accross to clear the start of the river flow. Use human decoy to draw some guards out of the camp. Snipe the dog and clear inside of the camp. Each fuel barrels for each V2 Missiles and the Barrack. Save one bomb for the watching tower, then escape.
Did anyone use light truck and conveyor belt like level designers suggested? :D Light truck never worked for me, conveyor belt doesn't save a lot of time either
I only got to play the playable demo. When I had windows 95. I couldn't find a shop that had the cd. Then Windows 95 when obsolete. So I then never got to play it(behind enemy lines) was my favourite, compared to the ps2 version. If they could copy the windows 95 commandos behind enemy lines, convw.r.t. It to windows 10?
Steam has Commandos 1, 2 3 and the Beyond of Duty as well. I got this all for like £12. I was however, miffed as the range of the harpoon is no where near to what this person is playing and not only that but when the beacon goes off for the enemy go towards and the harpoon is used the enemy straight away turn and shoot. Apart from that it is a decent game to play on Windows 10.
Hello there, great playing skills though...i´ve been watching several mission and i couldn´t avoid realizing that many of your weapons (such as the harpon) have a very long range, could i be my version of the game?, for example 9:55 you kill the german soldier from very afar, i did the same mission and had to get closer to the guy eliminate him...
he's saying that marine's harpoon does not have long range, but at 9:55 he kills the soldier from very far away. i wonder if it related with versions ?
The Green beretta+Snapper is brilliant. I usally use Green beretta alone, then knife Germany after triggered the radio. It is really dumb. Sometimes I will shoot in the beginning of level then shoot with germany and partrol team face by face ^_^
stab German soldiers is better sometimes; it allows you to start moving the body immediately after the death, hence reducing the possibility of someone wandering into the crime scene :-)
0:08: Yeah, and it's devastated because the Soviets let the Polish uprising there slowly die a brutal death, the bastards. The destruction of the V-2 rocket sites reminds me a lot of the final British campaign mission of Call of Duty 1. First time seeing dogs at this point. (11:34: A shame they're Nazi dogs, because Nazi dogs are less likely to go Heaven... or so Civvie 11 says.) 18:58: Highest rank, baby!

In the current version of steam, the harpoon is just shit, two meters range.

@@iggyarctic5711 use the bomb, I did it when I escape. During the game, you can sneak pass it easily.

Yes, he's (on purpose?) playing an easier older patch version. Some things you see him/her do in this video isn't possible (anymore).

I guess you can if you don't want to run all the way to the other side. It's more of an oddity than a reliable tool in this mission.
I tried everything. The bunker will always shoot you no matter how many soldier you kill.
