Love cycling talaga nung sa pinas ako. Pero now na nasaabroad na ngayon lang nag ka interest sa Running. Just started running last week. Pero parang ayaw talaga ng katawan ko sa running. Although macocontrol ko naman yung heart rate ko and breathing ko agawa na nasanay na sa Longride sa bike pero sa running ko kasi ilang seconds lang ng pag rurun Sobrang sakit na ng paa ko tapos sobrang comfortable. Planning to invest narin for Running shoes like Asics Novablast pero now I dunno di ko alam kung mag papatuloy yung sakit ng paa ko😔😔 Pero pag walking naman. Makakapag walk ako ong 10 to 20km plust na walang problema. Sadyang running lang talaga.
Thank you po for sharing! Investing in a good running shoes is a good idea. Try run walk method and be consistent. Short run-walk but frequent ay mas maganda for adaptability ng katawan sa running. May mga water statio at food along the route. Pero in my experience last time medyo hindi pa ganon ka organize kasi nagkakaubusan at mahaba ang pila. Check mo sa Facebook page nila naka lagay sa route yung mga aid stations.

General rule, pag 5k pataas long distance na yun sa running. The perception of "long distance" varies depending on a runner's experience level and fitness. For beginners, even 5 km might feel long, while seasoned runners might reserve the term for marathons or ultras.

Slow run and walk lang muna. Focus on being consistent at hindi ka magiging consistent kapag masakit katawan mo. So take it easy, wait for your body to adapt. Keep it up! Kaya yan....

Nabigla ang katawan mo kaya sumakit. Recover ka muna, rest and recharge. Tapos sa next run mo, mabagal lang and konti muna. Ang goal mo is makatakbo ka next day.

Correct paps. Newbie runner here. Im currently at zone 2 running. I have lost 10 kilos (88-78) in 1 month. A good running shoes and a garmin watch really helps alot.

Sir tips naman po nahinto po kasi ako sa pag jogging 2weeks po di nakapag jogging pero kanina nag 10 km po ako at nakuha kopo ng 54 mins sir .. Kelangan ko kasi maghabol ng ensayo para sa Nov 9 ... 10km po sasalihan ko at minsan naman po nag babike ako mga 20 km lang po ,, Ano po magandang program para mkahabol po sa ensayo sir ? Maraming salamat po.
54mins napaka bilis na nun! Di ko recommended na maghabol ka ng training kasi malapit na masyado ang race. Short runs ka na lang, mag-intervals ka. 1km na above 10k pace tapos 1min rest. 5 reps lang. Pero wag mong gawin araw-araw baka kasi ma-over use ang muscles mo at magka-injury ka pa. Ang goal mo is maging fresh and injury-free sa race day para maibigay mo ang best mo.

Personally pag 10km run usually wala akong nutrition. Hindi din ako kumakain sa umaga pero minsan light breakfast na bread or konting kanin bago mag long run. Umiinom lang ako during the run kung lalampas ng 90mins ang workout. Be consitent lang sa pagtakbo, masasanay din ang tyan mo at di mo na magiging problema ang tyan mo pag tumagal.
advise wag ka mag fasted Run kasi possible masisira digestive system mo yan din senyales ng nagsusuka ka kasi walang laman at umaakyat yung acidity ng katawan mo. ang pagkain ay yun ang source ng energy mo.

Ilan days ang Refund time na gamit Gcash as payment?
Pag Gcash pa din pinili mo as refund medyo magtatagal, same as bank. 1-2 weeks kung di ako nagkamamali. Ako gcash ang mode of payment ko pero sa refund mas pinili ko ang paypal.

Ano po ba magandang energy gel with caffeine or wla ? 😊
Depende sayo yan, kung ano mas gusto mo. Subukan mo pareho. Yung iba ayaw nila na may caffeine kasi biglang tumataas ang heart rate tapos madali ding mawala ang effect. Steady lang ang boost kapag no caffeine. Yung iba naman they prefer na may caffeine for that reason din. So depende sayo. Personally, sa akin, kung anong available ok sakin.

The marathon distance is 42.2 km (42.195 km to be exact). It was your smart watch that had some error when it showed 43km at the finish line. Similar thing happened to me when I ran my first ever marathon last October 2023 (it was 2 days before my 60th birthday). That was my first and only participation in any competitive sports until now. My primary goal in that marathon was to at least finish the distance, my secondary goal was to finish in under 4 hours. Close to the 42.2 km distance as shown on my smart watch I thought I can finish at just over 4 hours (perhaps 2.5 to 3.0mins over) but when my smart watch showed a distance of 42.2 km (and total time of 4:03:15) I realized I was still a few hundred meters from the actual finish line. I ended up finishing the course at an official time of 4:09:07, but my smart watch showed that the distance I covered was 42.9km. After that I remember that when I had the smart watch the very first time, the manual mentioned the possible inaccuracy in distance (and in some cases also elevation gain) because of possible communication discrepancies between satellite and the watch.
