    U.S. Route 66 or U.S. Highway 66 was one of the original highways in the United States Numbered Highway System. It was established on November 11, 1926, with road signs erected the following year. It starts in Chicago, Illinois and ends in Santa Monica, California.

    Thank you guys for another interesting video with her in it too. Those rings she was eating are called fried onion rings and are delicious. I am 71 now with a bad heart and Diabetes, so although i would love to live in a place like that, i best not. I always wanted to move to the Alaskan wilderness and live off the land but neither of my three wives would go with me. I am from the coal camps of Appalachia and grew up in the mountains in the fifties, so i know i could have done it. There is nothing better than being in the Wilderness and roughing it in my opinion. Just want to tell every young person to follow your dreams no matter what. Thanks again!

    #1. Pork is awesome and you are missing out. (The only risk of getting sick is if you undercook it just like with any other food. Vegetables can kill you too. The whole pork thing is so Old testament.) #2. Mustard can be a yellow or brown, there are different kinds and it's not a dye.

    Yes, Fudge, I believe as you… it’s animal abuse. Granted, it’s not like Spain where they gouge the bull over a long period for a slow torturous death, but the animal clearly does not like this and that’s why it’s bucking. And the reason why it’s bucking is because they tie a tight romp around the male bull’s testicles, making it very uncomfortable. I’m not in favor and will never attend a rodeo. Lastly, you never want to know how the animals are treated on some, not all, but some diary farms… maybe not family owned dairy farms, but the bigger corporate dairy farms where they keep the female cow pregnant so she can continuously produce milk. And they take her newborn calf away from her which greatly distresses her. She’s very uncomfortable being continuously pregnant and the ones who are slaughtered are slaughtered in a very inhumane way. There are ways to humanely slaughter, but some dairy farms do it in a torturous way. It’s awful. There is a video about the cruelty involved, but you really shouldn’t watch it. It’s that bad. I don’t drink dairy milk or eat meat, mainly for health reasons.

    I know nothing about hash(even growing up right next to them in Georgia) but I’m sure the head they are talking about is pig. I’ve never heard of anyone cooking cow head around here. I love mustard. Our mustard is sour and tart. That man cooking all that food is not charging anyone. It’s normal to have cook outs and invite family, friends and neighbors. Usually the people coming would bring a side dish to add to the meal but I don’t know if they did for this one. He probably does have a lot of money since he custom makes grills and smokers. But that’s not the reason he gives all this food for free. I don’t know for a fact he pays for all of it. Maybe some of his family helps out. But like I said before, usually the host does the meat and a couple other things and everyone else brings a different dish or drinks or supplies like plastic utensils, napkins, plates, etc to contribute. If y’all ever come visit the south you will need to be careful with the food because often vegetable dishes and even cornbread will have pork in them for flavoring. I would think it would be very difficult to keep to no pork diet if you are eating out in the south.

    My grandparents were ranchers and I spent a lot of time there. I raised a calf, its mother had died, and I fed it by bottle with other mothers cows milk ...rode him around the yard, he slept on the porch with the dogs. Hes how I learned about where meat comes from around 7 yrs old. Growing up around the ranch, riding, hunting, taking care of animals is a lot of fun, and a lot of work. My grandfather was always out somewhere on the ranch taking care of something.

    A vegetarian doesn't eat meat. A vegan doesn't eat meat or dairy and sometimes they also won't eat any animal byproducts (like honey or gelatin). There are those who do it for health reasons, and those who do it for moral reasons. She sounds like she is doing it for moral reasons primarily. Personally, I think meat is a good part of a healthy diet and I think if it is wrong to eat animals, then why did God create lions? Humans are omnivores, you can tell just by looking at our teeth.

    Horse Riding Accident Statistics Highlights of horse riding injuries: Horseback riding is more dangerous than skiing and motorcycling. 74.83% of equestrian deaths are caused by head and neck injuries. 2 out of 3 horse riding injuries can be prevented. Horseback riding is the leading cause of sports-related traumatic brain injuries. Lifetime cost for acute head injury can be up to $3 million. Wearing a riding helmet reduces the risk of severe head injury by 50%.

    Those kids riding sheep have a VERY LOW chance of getting mortally wounded. As a Christian, I would agree that needlessly putting your life in danger is wrong. However, there is a chance almost ANYTHING can kill you. If you stumbled and fell in just the right way, even a sharpened pencil could be lethal. And any mode of transportation is dangerous ...even walking. But making everything against the law for that reason seems really silly to me. There should be a balance on religion ..reasonableness is important. Hardcore parkour on skyscrapers is pretty obviously a bad idea, but living your life inside a hyperbaric chamber 100 ft underground in a fallout shelter is nutters. Just my two cents.

    The United States is an amalgamation of cultures of immigrant peoples from all parts of the world along with the culture of the Native Americans. As frontiersmen moved west they had to learn and develop new skills and methods to survive and settle, such as the skills cowboys had to develop for cattle drives and to work ranches. Like all other peoples in the world, the people of the United States brought their heritage and learned how to adjust it to their situation--and they did, and we are the benefactors of what they learned. The rodeo is a great example of this as it is a demonstration of the skill cowboys needed to have to work a cattle drive and a ranch. Calf-roping, team-roping, calf wrestling, bull wrestling, barrel races (to develop the skills of riding a horse)--these are all essential skills for working a ranch. I'm not a fan of bronco or bull riding as these are more rooted in machoism than necessary skills, and I don't believe the entertainment value is worth the discomfort to the animals. Make no mistake, no one has greater respect or concern for the animals than cowboys/girls, and no animals are better cared for. It's very rare for a rodeo animal to be injured, but it's very common for a human contestant to be injured--cowboy/girl life is hard and dangerous, and they know it and just leave it in God's hands.

    A couple of ppl have said what bucking is. But the term is much broader. In my town a rancher “bucks off” every Thursday for rodeo practice. Or if someone is scared you can tell them to “buck up” or gather their strength. But even the sheep buck. The term became solid because of bucking broncos. Aka one stubborn horse that doesn’t want to be ridden and will kick you off at any cost. However not every animal wants to buck or kick….. they tie their balls to their tails or rub them to piss them off. Its come a long way from how they used to make the animal mad. Like stab them or shock them with electricity

    It’s so sweet to see you worry if the cows get hurt. You have gentle hearts. I didn’t realize such young kids did all of that. I grew up in Colorado and now live in Arizona but have never been to a rodeo.

  • @WhatDayIsItTrumpDay
    @WhatDayIsItTrumpDay 11 годин тому

    Bucking is slightly different than just kicking. Bucking is when the animal does a jump of sorts before it does its rearward kick. They get them to buck by attaching an irritant device somewhere on the saddle that "activates" once they leave the gate. And it's only active when the rider's weight is on them. Think of it like if someone you didn't know or liked jumped on your back. You'd do everything possible to "buck" them off, wouldn't you? (See what I did there?) So as you can see, once the rider is bucked off, the animal calms down again once it realizes the irritant device is no longer irritating them and then all is good. But you're right, we don't abuse our animals like the Spaniards and the Mexicans treat their bulls. That's insane.

Vegans will only eat plant based foods. They believe animals have rights and it's evil to eat them. They are generally not healthy eaters.

    Hello my brothers! I grew up not far from here, and my family had horses. Let me explain some of the events for you. Mutton busting is riding sheep, youth bull riding isn't on adult bulls, but the very young bulls, bronco riding is on adult horses, youth bronco is on young horses, calf roping is done by a single horse rider, team roping is 2 horse riders, barrel racing is a single rider usually a young woman going around 55 gallon barrels, and bull riding is on adult bulls. Rodeo animals are treated very well and folks will have favorites. Here's an explanation for why the animals buck - there is a rope that is put around the genitals that the animal is trying to knock off. You can imagine the reason ...

    Bulls and cattle were first brought over to Mexico by Spain after they conquered the Aztecs. Therefore, working and training with horses, bulls and cattle originated in Spain but were developed into more of the Rodeo contests in Mexico and spread into Texas and the rest of the southwest when it was still part of Mexico. The Anglos, ( British, Irish, German etc..) came to Texas and the rest of the southwest later and adopted those customs . The original cowboys were Spanish and Mexican.
