We tend to add onion soup mix and some additional mix-ins (yellow mustard, minced garlic or garlic powder, black pepper, etc.) although my sister sometimes goes with Italian seasoning and tops with marinara so it's like meatballs in loaf form.

They put the Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls on top, (my favorite part) serve with ketchup or brown gravy. Fantastic cold for a late night snack and makes a great sandwich. It has hundreds of holes in it, and is very thin, but it's still the same steak you put through the machine, still the same piece of meat - just not as tough as it was before you had it tenderized. You can also choose a piece of round steak! (you know, one of the toughest cuts of meat!), and ask the butcher to tenderize it - to the extent you want it done. The butcher will give you back what appears to be a cube steak - because that's exactly what a cube steak is!

What our dear Laurence referred to is a big ick! Also, clam chowder has two varieties: New England (as shown) and Manhattan, which has a savory tomatoey broth with carrots and potatoes and celery and plenty of thyme (in addition to the clams and clam juice). If you ever come to Long Island, you will be in Manhattan Clam Chowder heaven. Also, the baked clams are to die for and they are huge.
Biscuits and gravy contains pork sausage in the gravy, just so you know. I don’t know where Laurence got his meatloaf pictures, but that’s not American meatloaf. Cornbread is not normally served with honey and that chili thin and unappetizing. I recommend looking up all these foods on Google to find pictures and recipes that a normal person would want to eat.

You have to try tacos. You can make them from chicken or lamb. Just look up a recipe. You should be able to find the spices or something similar.
