New Doctrine in Woodworking Explored: Patchwork Standing Desk
#woodworking #finewoodworking
Sub count, 1434
Crafting a patchwork wooden standing desk for myself. I utilized a large quantity of various wood scraps that were laying around the shop and glued them together in a random patchwork pattern over the course of several weeks and 30 separate glue ups. This was the first thing i ever crafted for myself, and I am quite pleased with the results.

My First (and last) ever furniture restoration. Tea Cart Restoration
Переглядів 8257 місяців тому
Sub count, 1286 This is my least favorite project of all time. I purchased an old beat-up tea cart at a thrift store at the start of the year, and then dragged my feet for the next 6 months sanding, painting, and repairing the tea cart, which started out in absolute shambles. Despite all my whining about hating furniture restorations, there was a joy i found in taking an old tea cart and giving...

Rough Slab to 10 Foot Conference Table; Full build timelapse

Sub Count 1052 (1029 23) Full build timelapse taking a rough cut slab and using my mediocre woodworking techniques to turn it into a (potentially) beautiful conference table. The full build took me over 150 hours of work to complete, so don't be deceived by how fast the timelapse makes it look. The slab measured 10 feet by 30ish inches, and I used roughly 6 gallons of epoxy to fill the voids an...

    lower that table saw blade! You only need the blade just a little exposed above the material you are cutting.

  • @josealeixo6623

    Did not like the video. Kicking the pieces of wood out of the saw blade with your hands ,very dam and dangerous idea. Throwing away your equipment like this gives the impression that you don't care for it or the money they cost now a days . You must remember that any video posted is an instruction to any new beginner on the trade and they follow the example of the expert who posted the video. So in your next videos give the respect that this trade deserves.

    I cringed every time you used the table saw. Not because of the table saw, but because you used zero safety with it. At this rate you’re going to lose a finger, nick an artery, and/or get cancer (for not using a mask). PLEASE STOP AND LEARN SAFTY FIRST!

    is there certain types of wood that is better for this type of project how do you keep them from splitting or breaking apart if they get wet

    • @WoodenLegWoodworking
      @WoodenLegWoodworking 3 місяці тому

      no particularly better or worse woods so long as they are hardwoods. I've never had a problem with them splitting apart or even getting wet for that matter. I tend to stick to dry land, but if it ever becomes an issue you'll be the first to know.
