In this video, I make and turn 4 stem vases on the lathe. These are basically mini vases, made to hold a few small flowers in a decorative fashion. I started by milling up some rough cut lumber, and then i glued it into a solid block. After removing the clamps in the usual fashion, i trimmed up the block and cut it into 4 smaller blanks. I then marked the center of each of these and drilled a hole in the center. i then sealed the inside of the hole to make it possible to hold water. after that, it was time to put it on the lathe and start spinning. I shaped, sanded and finished, and then to finish out the video, you get to enjoy some silly things i did while filming.
