Full build timelapse taking a rough cut slab and using my mediocre woodworking techniques to turn it into a (potentially) beautiful conference table. The full build took me over 150 hours of work to complete, so don't be deceived by how fast the timelapse makes it look.
The slab measured 10 feet by 30ish inches, and I used roughly 6 gallons of epoxy to fill the voids and to add the square edge. Going back and watching this footage made me want to put myself through the chaos and confusion of building another one like this, so there is a chance I will have a round two in a few months. Building the table took roughly 3 months of working in the evening and whenever else I could find time to. If I could do it again, the one thing i would change is I would focus a lot more on building the mold for the epoxy resin pour. I did a half sent job on that and most certainly paid the price. (Numerous leaks in the mold, I ended up staying up all night trying to battle with them.

    Nice save at 4:27 👍🏻.
What made you scrap the first leg idea ?

I was pretty burnt out after this table haha. It took me a while to muster up the courage to take on anything big after this.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the first leg idea. The legs were some metal legs from flowyline design that the client picked out. In my opinion they were a little bit small or not chunky enough, but those legs were the plan all along. Maybe one of the clips mislead you into thinking there were multiple leg options being considered. That was not the case.
      Thanks for watching!!
