Speaking with newly signed Braves pitcher, Kolton Ingram
Kolton Ingram grew up in Braves Country, even attending college at Columbus State University...just two hours south of Truist Park. I spoke with him about signing to the team that he grew up watching, and what his addition to the roster will mean going forward.
He speaks about free agency, his time so far in the big leagues, and his goals for the 2025 season.

Johnny Estrada remembers infamous Ejection, alongside Bobby Cox
Переглядів 18521 день тому
Any time you talk about famous ejections in Baseball, Bobby Cox's name will come up. With 162 ejections under his belt, how could he not? But in this instance, he had little to do with it. Johnny Estrada and Doug Eddings square off behind the plate, after debating a strike call... and it turns into three ejections of Atlanta Braves players. #Braves #MLB #Atlanta
Remembering Braves Legend, Chief Noc-A-Homa
Переглядів 210Місяць тому
A year ago today, Braves Country lost Levi Walker Jr. - better known as Chief Noc-A-Homa. To me though, he was a great friend. I've never shared this video, because it's far from my normal type of content, I was asked to speak at Levi's celebration of life. My goal was to share some memories, and maybe laugh about some old stories with Chief. Levi was instrumental to the start of my career, put...
Should the Braves sign Tanner Scott as addition to Bullpen?
Переглядів 442Місяць тому
The Atlanta Braves have some uncertainty surrounding the bullpen entering the 2024 season, with Joe Jimenez likely missing the entirety of the year. Plus - it is uncertain when AJ Minter will return as well. Not to mention, Jesse Chavez may or may not come back to Atlanta this season. Left handed relievers already came at a premium for the Braves last season, and we've already seen the Braves l...
Could the Braves sign Willy Adames as Shortstop?
Переглядів 2,3 тис.Місяць тому
The hope for Willy Adames being signed by the Braves has been the most speculated by Atlanta fans this offseason. Adames is likely the highest prize for shortstop in the free agency market. But, how attainable is the infielder? The struggles that Orlando Arcia had in 2024 have led to widespread criticism, specifically his bat. However - the low cost of Arcia could keep him at the shortstop posi...
Could the Braves sign Teoscar Hernandez as left fielder in 2025?
Переглядів 1,3 тис.Місяць тому
Any offseason, theories run wild across Baseball. What free agent could end up with any given team. And though the Braves have a lot to address during this offseason - starting pitching, bullpen, and possibly even shortstop. Even among so many holes to fill, Outfield does remain a concern. Ronald Acuña will likely not be ready for Opening Day. That concern has opened the door for adding, along ...
Travis d'Arnaud option declined, returning to Atlanta? Why are the Braves cutting costs?
Переглядів 3,6 тис.Місяць тому
Travis d'Arnaud is the latest cut to Atlanta's cost for the 2025 season, as his affordable $8 million option was declined. This caught a lot of fans by surprise as d'Arnaud has been proficient at the plate, as well as at catcher. Throughout the injuries to Sean Murphy, d'Arnaud has stepped up as an almost everyday catcher multiple times. Could we see him take a paycut to remain with the Braves?...
Braves trade Jorge Soler to Angels: Explained
Переглядів 1,6 тис.Місяць тому
The Atlanta Braves have entered the chat first - trading Jorge Soler to the Angels. This was a sudden move, but not an unexpected one. With the combination of both Soler and Marcell Ozuna, it was always understood that Soler would be traded. But, with a minimal return - the Braves are focused in getting money in order for something more. Tune in to discuss where Atlanta goes from here. LINK TO ...
MLB has to fix the Playoff Format - Here's Why
Переглядів 6192 місяці тому
The playoff format for MLB has been debated since it's inception in 2022. The Atlanta Braves are probably the most notable team that has seemed to suffer the consequences of earning the bye to the Division Round. In both 2022 and 2023, Atlanta was eliminated by their division rival in Philadelphia. Though the Phillies finished the regular season below the Braves in the standings. In 2024, it wa...

Who is this?
Did Gibson later hit Pete Rose also?
Bob Gibson was the man. #45 forever.
Gibson was a red azz. “How dare you hit the ball off me.”
Thanks for shedding the light on one of the Best hitters ever
Bob Gibson hits me with the ball. Bob Gibson gets hit with the bat.
CSU, in Columbus, Ga. I hope he is a SMASH!!!!! We loved this Man!!! Looks like my Dining/kitchen in my home in Columbus, ga!
What did he do that broke an unwritten rule? The liner or running too close to him?
it be good for braves get him he give us power and outfield help
Brave you can be as cheap as you want to but go get you to proving players especially in left field and shortstop and then maybe we still in the running
Braves loading up on all the misfit toys for Christmas.
3:11 "rendon" 😆
What a move LA, Boston and Texas will be shaking in their boots
Welcome to the show Kolton Ingram.⚾🙂👍
I'm just asking questions
Yes I am being cynical
So what is the best that we can give?
😊 then what are we going to do when our name is called?
You tell us
If chipper Jones wanted to be in Atlanta braves then he would be in Atlanta brave
Most braves players secretly say that they are phony tough and crazy brave it is about saving enough money to put the right people on the team
To think that this and adding De la cruz have been the only moves the Braves have made so far is disappointing. Are we worried more about the luxury tax than getting the best team possible?
Should be in the hall of fame
Serious Hank Eeror !??
Pete contributed so much to the sport with his iconic on field performance. He deserved to be disciplined for his behavior, but not to be banned from baseball.
Hubbard looks entirely different without his beard.
when you think of his incredible feats on the baseball field consider that there was no expansion and only the best of the best played in his era ! there are many players today who would not have even made a team back then .
he gone
When you talk about the Mets you have spoken like a true dumbass Braves fan you are because you dont have an owner like ours!!!! You now only wish you did!!!
Spencer Turnbull was a starter last year till Taijuan Walker eventually came back from shoulder issues, then Turnbull was moved to the bullpen. But then ended up having a lat strain. But beyond last year, Turnbulls been a full time starter, while in 2022 he had Tommy John, and eventually came back in 2023, so he's lacked innings as of late do to those issues. But when looking at Turnbull and Eovaldi, they're somewhat similar pitchers. Since 2020, so we don't include Eovaldi's bad 2019 season both have had similar numbers since then. Turnbull: 3.84 ERA, 3.78 FIP, 4.24 xFIP, 21.9% K rate, 9.4% walk rate, 50.9% groundball rate, .220 Avg again, 1.22 WHIP Eovaldi: 3.75 ERA, 3.63 FIP, 3.57 xFIP, 24.0% K rate, 5.6% walk rate, 46.9% groundball rate, .243 Avg again, 1.17 WHIP Both have had similar ERA's and FIP's, Eovaldi strikes out a few more, but Trumbull induces more groundballs, both have similar WHIP, while Turnbull walks more, but Eovaldi gives up more hits. Both pitchers throw a bunch of different pitches, Evoldia throws 5 different pitchers while Turnbull throws 6 pitches. I think you get Trumbull on the cheap due to his lack of innings since returning from Tommy John in 2023, but you mostly need a guy who could eat up innings in the first half, while allowing all your prospects to get time in the minors, and either allow them to start getting starts during the 2nd half when he'll likely need time off due to his lack of previous innings, or you could switch him back into a bullpen position while letting Grant Holmes to get starts the 2nd half. I think he'd be good for 120ish innings as a starter, before potentially needing to find way to throttle his innings the rest of the way, and he would be a cheap option to help eat quality innings, especially while Striders out.
I’m glad he’s gone truthfully. He’s not even a #1, #2 or #3 starter Arcia will consistently win the Rapheal Belliard award...... H~
I agree 100% with you Tyler about Arcia. Baseball Savant has Arcia rated higher for (RANGE) than Willy Adames and Ha-Seong Kim. For 2 million per year you'll no find a better defender at SS.
Good for him honestly he’s starting to be injury prone anyway but we have Spencer coming back and we still have Chris and Lopez we should be good and this gives some of the young pitchers we have a chance to see what they have going forward or maybe a under the radar trade for a starter
Once atain. He’s not injury prone at all.
@@kyleknapp1985No last couple seasons he was. He was amazing when he was healthy but Tyler is right 8 years and 218 million is way to much for a guy who’s 31
Not happening. Sadly to inform that he is with the Yankees now. We will be alright. Go braves
Tyler you made good since I 've been watching your podcast and I agree with you it will foolish to sign Willy Adames True that the Braves lose some kin players last year Arcia was the one to step up be the leader in the club house but he didn't do it and he [ Arica ] didn't know who play second when Ozzie got hurt and the same thing with Auston So what I saying that when he [ Arica ] relasing it was to late to adjust back like he was because he swing that he should not and when he hit it will go to a infilder or a outfilder Let's hope that if Arcia back at shortstop and a new hitting coach a new in pross of hitting
I think I was the one who asked that question about the Doug Eddings debacle the first time around. To this day Eddings is not well liked by the baseball community. I heard his mom plays a role in which umpires are picked to go to the majors. That's not a joke. I think she actually had that role or part of that role in the past when he became a major league ump.
Good stuff and Go Braves
Love this Tyler!! Thank you 💕💕!!!!
Great Takk buddy, you have a good presence on stage!
When the title was remembering a braves legend did anyone else think it was going to be Rico carty
@@ryanbaker7434 unfortunately never got to meet Rico. We’ve lost many over the last couple of years.
@BravesOnDeck never met him but I saw him once
I am impressed.😊

ROSTER MOVES WONT HELP THIS TEAM…TIL SOMEONE OPENS THEIR PURSE UP AND GET YOUNGER PLAYERS NOT THE SAME OLD CRAP 30-35 STARTING PITCHERS CHEAP SALE WALMART PRICE WONT WORK ANYMORE..
Willie don’t make the mistake going to the bravos!
Yes, no more Arcia unless late defensive substitution late in games. Sign Eovaldi/Means, Treinen as well.
I doubt it
