I don't think the Braves will be in play for him, aslo maybe you miss spoke when you said several times 60 million a year, it might be 60 million over 3 years.
I can't believe the Mariners let Teoscar go! They need offense, and he is just that! Dumb! He's not for the Braves. It's unrealistic for the Braves to have the money to sign him. Especially when they need a SS that hits for a high batting average! Arcia is great at fielding - Fantastic!, but such a low batting average is gonna make him loose his starting job! The Braves need to save their money for a great SS and another decent starter. Honestly, I think if you gave Laureano a full season of at bats we'd all be very surprised at his output! We know he can be very good on defense and has the speed to beat out infield hits too. I think the batting average could be at Teoscar's .272 or even higher. I feel the number of home runs and doubles will surprise us. He's more of the type of player we need. Gets hits to get on base, steals bases, and is very fast. Teoscar strikes out A LOT! It's the reason why the Mariners didn't resign him. They had a ton of strike outs that year. It didn't help Teoscar one bit that he attributed to those. But, he was one of several high strike out players. I really do think we have left field covered. Kelenic could play left field if he brought up that average, started hitting for getting on base and not homers, and was healthy. The homers will come, but we really, Really need a high batting average guy to set up for the big bombers we already have. The Braves have way too many solo homers!!! I really think we found someone for left field in Laureano! He hit .748 OPS which is really decent and my money says he hits to a higher batting average and OPS with a full season of at bats. 💯👍😁
