The value they have on Arcia is insane. Top 5 defensive shortstop yet getting paid like a bottom 5. He is the only one on this team that showed fire and passion this season, I will not be happy if they trade him away. For me he is the only reason I watched some of these games because he looks like he actually cares. As a fan that spends thousands every season to support this team I like to see a guy who cares.
You're forgetting a really important statistic. Willy Adames as of September 21st, 2024 has 39 more runs scored than Orlando Arcia. Which is the stat that does jumps off the page.
