We need to keep what we have and sail through this season. It will suck, but we no longer need to go all in. Wait until next year when we have all of our pieces and hopefully Olsen and Murphy will have better offensive years
My question is this- If you trade for Robert or Rooker, where does that leave Kelenic after this yr? Robert has club options in 2026 & 2027 for $20M Rooker has 3 more yrs of team control, although he could be DH, IF they let Ozuna walk Kelenic has 4 for more yrs of team control and I think they see him as their long term left fielder
There is a lot of speculation that Acuña will not play the field following next year, after Ozuna's contract expires. I'm not saying that as a certainty, but it's what I'm hearing around the clubhouse. At least - the Braves are considering that as a possibility. So, in theory, You'd have Kelenic, Rooker, and Harris. As most of the other pieces are temporary.
Fried might not be himself the rest of the season. We need to look toward next year. This is not our year. Save out farm system and build up. The farm system is very depleted now. We cannot afford to give up anymore of our future players.
I’ve been wondering people opinion on this. Who do you think AA a month or so ago during that interview with the Fan may have been talking about when he mentioned his son really liking the player they maybe trying to acquire.
I really hate saying this were not hitting and all of the injuries we have I think we should pack it in for this year and focus on trying to re-sign Max Fried and next year.
For me at this point and with all the injuries is it even worth doing any trades at all. Do we want to further deplete the farm system even more? just play the seaon out and see what happens.
You canNOT be serious about trading Schwellenbach. Finally a 4th, 5th spot starter, RIGHT NOW, with huge upside, and it’s a good idea to trade him away? No no no no no.
It's not so much that I'm sold on trading him, it's more along the lines of what it would take to land him. I think you could also throw AJSS in that trade. But - to make a trade happen, you have to be willing to trade some solid players away.
@@BravesOnDeck I get having to trade value to get value, especially for someone of Skubal’s stature, but even more so this evening, trading Schwellenbach away seems insanity to me.
We shouldn't be buyers at all. Find some cheap help now and the winter meetings and next year's draft. We can't deplete our farm system anymore than we already have. We need to replenish our farm system.
Trade Fried, he won’t re-sign after the season anyway.. Fedde & Pham from CHW Tyler Anderson from LAA Jazz & Josh Bell from MIA Amed Rosario from TB Pham hit 3rd for the WS champs last year… & they need some ‘attitude’ tbh

We just need make some trades to make a run to playoffs see if we can do it I believe we still in this
We need to get a starter bad can’t keep bringing pitchers from AAA they haven’t been working when we bring them up
I think Minter is a free agent this winter and he will be worth at least 10 million a year.
Olson isn't hitting at all, Kelenic is alright, Riley isn't hitting, Sean Murphy isn't hitting, etc ...... This year is a loss.

Don’t hold your breath on the former A’s
Rooker and Miller from Oakland
You asked - I clipped it!

I saw Reds are likely to trade from bullpen depth
Love to have Kevin Pillar
I like the Sox trade except keep Schwellenbach and send Waldrep.

@@BravesOnDeck IF that's what they decide, then I'm perfectly fine w/ trading for an OF that has multiple yrs on their current deal.

Acuna isn't even going to be himself next year. Ozzie is out for the season as well.
Exactly I think he is the DH when he returns
@@JohnHamm1969 So you're playing Ozuna in right field?
Braves will not have Morton or Freid need two front line pitchers don't know what to say about hitters they stink.

I spoke on that back then - honestly no idea. We may never know, we may know in a week; we may know down the road. But man, it made me curious.
No way I would trade SS you have seen him pitching right?give the Owen Murphy

The White Sox don’t need to cut salary. That deal would be an no for the White Sox. That deal is so one sided for the Braves. Good try.
FIRE SNITKER & ALL COACHES! NOW!
Cliff meet Braves
I say at this point we stay pat. Wait until next year. This year is lost. We will be better off next year or wait until the winter meetings.
Ok, where's Brent Rooker playing in 2025? You're giving up a lot of prospect capital for a guy who has no place to play after this year.
@@MassBoost a lot of folks in the Braves media are questioning if Acuña will play the field in 2025.

Braves are a 500 team at best. No reason to change anything this year
