Thanks for the tour!
How are you Erica?
Just my two cents worth, in the cafe workflow - wouldn't self-service make you less busy and more productive?
Why are you using the puck screen on this side? The manual shows that the other side is the correct.
Manual is one thing. I used it both way. Don't really matter actually.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore I Will test, ty!!!
@Mateus.Sanches always welcome!
Ultimate of coffee shop and roastery.
Thanks buddy!
I'm a newbie. Please tell me which grinder should I buy between KINGrinder K4 or KINGrinder K6? The price difference is really small.
I personally like k6 better because it's more versatile between getting good espresso as well as good decent filtered coffee.
I have the J-max and agree that the magnetic catch can be a problem. I have to be very careful that the magnetic catch doesn’t dislodge when grinding. I have another grinder that has a screw on cup and I like it better than the J-max magnetic cup.
Wie viele Funktionen hat eine Kaffeemühle?
It grind coffee and makes espresso and froth milk. Basically that's the function. And this machine does it quite well and has the look as well.
Why the mask? Are you allergic to coffee?
Yes he is allergic to anything more than 10 minutes of exposure to coffee… which is why he puts it on 9 minutes after he starts handling and DRINKING the coffee. The people walking in is sheer coincidence.
So you are saying there is logic to it? He is not wearing it when talking to customers but only when making coffee. I honestly don’t get it. It just looks stupid to me.
Local hospitality rules, they still require peope who serve food to wear a mask since the pandemic
@@azza2575 Ah ok, I understand. That’s very sad that they still enforce this. It’s very dystopian and inhumane in my opinion. In terms of hygiene it makes actually no sense at all, but I guess it’s easier to cope with if you pretend it does.
Well. This is government ruling. It may appear that we don't have a choice over this but I believe this is more good than bad. You don't want to have my saliva in the coffee I make for you. At least that what I think.
What is the model of the hot water pot? Looks very good quality.
Hi CY. I have a question regarding this coffee maker. This coffee maker has a choice of 3 degrees of temperature. Which one to choose? What determines which water temperature to choose?
Hi first of all thanks for watching my video. Choice of temperature will mostly depends on the roast level of the coffee beans that you use. Usually, the darker the roast, the lower the extraction temperature you use. Hence you can try this out. Dark roast => lowest temp Medium roast => medium temp Light roast => highest temp
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore Thank you so much for responding so quickly! Do I think correctly that if I use too high temperature for dark roast coffee, the espresso will be bitter in taste, and if I use too low temperature for light roast coffee, it will be strongly acidic?
@pawel.8820 that is spot on!
Hi CY. Thanks for the video. Have you tested these grinders for Dedica with non-pressure baskets? You've drank more than one good coffee from expensive espresso machines, so you have a lot of knowledge of what good espresso should taste like. Can such a budget kit (I don't want to spend a lot of money) as Dedica, a non-pressure basket and a K6 grinder create good espresso?
Hi there. It is capable of getting good espresso, but it takes more effort in ensuring that a good extraction is achieved. Also, the water temperature is another possible downfall if you are making more espresso. In this video, I think I am using the non-pressurised basket from another delonghi machine and it is pretty ok.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore do you know the temp hack for Dedica? LzRN8Se7uQw (ins._after_the_equals_sign )
Hi, What's the sound that you can hear after you finish grinding?
That sound is the vibration when my blind shaker touches the portafilter fork of the df64.
@CaffeMartellaSingapore i thought is the plasma generator, I purchased a df64v and I have a weird sound, someone said is the plasma generator and that was the reason I asked you
@@user-ow1wd7tz9g no worries. I don't hear any sound from the plasma generator before. But I will pay attention to it if it ever happen.
What's the price?
Beautiful espresso machine, and that WDT is supercool !!
I've found the zero point, but it's way over around 5 o'clock on the dial. Any way to get that dial pointing to zero into the front center (like I could do on my much older Rancilio Rocky)?
Wonder if you've experimented with fluoride free water besides adding the third wave solution to our local tap water/ filtered water
Yes. Distilled water. It is better but not much better.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore but as you prob know, distilled water has zero minerals which is not good for coffee or even consumption on its own.
@hoknevets it is true that coffee made with distilled water does taste blend and lacking in something. Hence personally I don't use distilled water. I use filtered water at my cafe and for filtered coffee I use my own recipe of 3rd wave water.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore able to share 🤓😜😉
@hoknevets look at my past video. I have shared before
What about the k2 pls?
K2 is good if you like more traditional espresso and espresso focus.
Hi CY, can you share the brew temperature of this CRM3145? It does not have the PID for the brew temp right? I wonder if the temp is stable or in acceptable range. Thank you
That static looks concerning given that it comes with an ion generator
For those without a stopwatch, its 26s for cold start
7g by Italian standard that's like a quad shot
Does the 3145 have an adjustable PID for the grouphead? And also does it have an OPV?
Where’s ur cafe,, 🎉🎉🎉

@@CaffeMartellaSingapore will check it soon!!
Sure sounds weird.
Hello, I have a question: Can the machine be set to temperatures greater than ninety for light roasts?
Any word on when you will resume sale, and will wood be an option?
Hi I am enquring the manufacturer to see if they can help us fabricate the steam lever switch in wood. Hopefully they can do it.
The main problem with shaking vertically is that tons of retention gets stuck on the lid. You have to tap hard to get it back.
Ours is leaking water, is there a place we can buy a new water tank?
You have to check with the dealer you bought it from. But usually, we don't carry stock of the water tank as sparepart.
Beautiful and informative! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Green apple is the best palate cleanser. Just a little piece in between shots works great.
Thanks for the tip!
Are you supposed to purge the machine inbetween uses… my machine recently stopped providing a good pressure for espresso. I cannot figure out why.
Change of beans?
@@CaffeMartellaSingaporeI go between a few brands of beans all medium roast… do you think that’s could be the reason? I also want to know if you should be back-flushing the machine like people with Brevilles do? If that is not the case, any other ideas of why it randomly quit pressurizing.
Hey. One quick qeustion again. When you brew just water is it also not too hot. Like I can easily touch the water come through group head. I think the temperature is less than ideal. Is it normal?
Not normal I believe.
What are the storage requirements for the ink ?
I have no idea...just playing with it.
I'm considering getting the M10, artisan model. 3 years later, are you still using it? I was initially looking to use it for my own coffee, but with a potential option later to sell some beans. What are your experiences, this far after getting the M10?
I use it 3 to 4 times a week and each roast is 1kg. It's still solid and works perfectly.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore it's going to take me some time to save for it, but I'm really leaning towards the M10. It's a big investment. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated.
You come to Jakarta?
Yes I did
Hello wonder if you can tell what size is the hex bolt thingy in the bottom, I want to find the correct tool for it.
I will need to check on mine again as I haven't open the Base of the grinder for quite a while.
Muito obrigado por esse vídeo! (Brasil). Foi muito útil
Sorry sir, Ascaso the Baby T plus vs vbm domobar super digital and lelit bianca V3 ,If these machine is using for small cafe around 100-200 cups a day which one you prefer (i love domobar because its can repeat my pressure profiling but i don't know about the consistency) Thanks for the answer
Baby T plus is definitely more built towards commercial. Neither VBM super nor the Lelit Bianca (worst among the 3) are built for commercial usage.
Hi CY, I appreciate your's skills, love and professionalism, I'll love coffee. By the way I recently bought the smeg machine after many reviews I decide for this one, I'll love to know your opinion. and also your suggestion regarding breville, sage, and smeg please thank you and my congratulations for your channel
They are all good in their own ways. But what wins for me on the SMEG EGF03 is 58mm portafilter and a decent built-in conical grinder.
I'm looking for the best hand grinder for use with espresso. But sometimes also pour over. Does Comandante C40 MK4 will do better in that purpose, than KINGrinder K6? I like clean and sweet taste coffee (no sugar)
Commandante is still much better than the k6 and I would say difference is significant but may jot justify such a big price gap between the 2 though.
Dont you want to run some old coffee through it, or raw rice. Get those burrs worked in.?
You definitely can. Just that I choose not too. I like seasoning it slowly over time.
That girl we see walking in the back wearing a mask is she super sick and cant stop coughing, or does she have other issues? Wow, you got a WHITE gen2. NICE! Wihing her the best and strong recovery. But she should likely stay home as that mask is not helping anyone...Maybe she has other issues?
Thanks for posting this video… Just wondering if you could expand or talk about the pros and cons of the black powder coat on the Argos…how is the durability of the powder coat, any wear points where powder coat is chipping under the stress and flex of machine when pulling a shot
good question!
I will follow up on a 2nd video talking about the wear and tear on the machine soon!
Like this setting! Good work and nice video.
Would it be possible to fasten the lever machine to the table, so it doesn't move around the surface? I did that with the Faema Faemina, and it worked really well. As you probably noticed, the Faemina is very forgiving when pulling shots. How is this lever compared to the Faema? With these small lever machines, its like learning a new instrument...it takes time and patience, but the reward is great.
There's one M10 thread to secure it to the countertop! I just got my Argos delivered yesterday. I also have a third series faemina. I think the faemina is more forgiving in puck prep, but temp management is harder. Also the steaming power on the Argos is quite a feat. I'm pretty sure the Argos won't stand +60 years the same way as the faemina, though.
Yes it can be done.
Can’t wait for the update with the new configuration. Great video and new setup!
thanks a lot!!! You saved my day
Hi CY, I think your collar is moving over your microphone and making a crackling sound.
Ah...thanks for letting me know Gwen!
Seems good !
What brand is your grinder?
I have this exact espresso machine but i am wondering how can i remove the group head because the head gasket starts to have some leakage.
