First look of the Matte Black Quick Mill Rubino with Flow Control installed

This video is split into 2 parts.
The first part shows how we usually check for machines before we send it out to customers.
Also, at the same time, take a look at the outlook of the machine.
The second part of the video show a clip which I had featured during my earlier live stream today which involved an unboxing, change the electrical plug from euro to UK plug and also trying to install t flow control. Eventually, I did not manage to install because, at that time, I did not have sufficient tools to remove the hex nut that house the mushroom.

it still has loud vibration pump. I had to wrap up polyurethane foam over vibration pump, which reduced noise by half on my QM Sunny

Comparing the vibratory pump on the QM and others, I can safely say that it is quieter.

Hm,
On DB machines everything is simple. Brew temperature is controlled separately in the boiler. FC is just restricting it's volume per second and thus pressure.
However, the slower water runs through the heat exchanger tube whilst restricted by FC valve, the hotter it gets... Isn't it the case? It basically overrides the p-stat and makes things even more difficult to control... Higher flow = lower temp and vice versa...

Well, all I know is I have been getting great espresso from it for years as long as it's not overheated. Dual boiler machine is great, but personally, I think for home users who make 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day, a dual boiler is an overkill. And it is also much more expensive.
