I think Johnny taking the stand was a calculated move on the part of Ben Chew. Dr Currie's diagnosis seemed to indicate Amber wouldn't let Johnny have his say without her responding. Camille was prepared and on fire.
I agree. I think they put JD on the stand so they would put AH on the stand. There’s no way she was going to let him get the final word and they new that.
That was an amazing turn around for a rebuttal witness you'd expect to NEVER touch the stand, again, after their last round of testimony.
I think you just might be right. Johnny did not do as well yesterday but, Amber on the stand again will be the last thing the jury remembers before deliberations.

@@catherinepositano8544 I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that! I managed to get away from my abuser through sheer luck before it escalated to that point of physical violence. But the verbal abuse on the "21 Jump Street" audio gave me flashbacks and was extremely hard to listen to. AH sounds like a narcissistic sociopath on that tape. That is most definitely not a victim talking to her violent and volatile abuser. And she stared at him when he was on the stand. I would happily have paid never to see the face of my abuser ever again, and he was a lightweight compared with AH and your abuser.
If I was her attorney I'd show her the yt footage where she is smirking when her violent assaults are being described. bc she has done that the whole trial

Covert, vulnerable narcissists like Johnny Depp follow a pattern. They are switching between two sides: very private, sweet behavior, soft spoken, promising to change, love bombing with gifts, shy demeanor, and the other side showing disgusting, vulgar language, extreme defensiveness, out of the blue-explosions of rage, self-harm ASWELL as violence directed at spouse or others in an intimate relationship. And this second side comes out behind closed doors. Amber on the other hand comes across as annoying and extremely immature. And frankly unlikeable. But since when does superficial charm equal being a good person? I think she, like I was, got in way too deep in a very troubled man's life. She's willful and headstrong so she challenged him like no other gf had earlier, and that triggered his explosive side and then he beat her, in his drug-induced rage.
That's what I see in his hideously vulgar texts, his violent reflexes in the kitchen-rage video, and frankly, on Ambers bruised face. I believe Ambers testimony and unfortunately I don't believe Johnny Depp's at all. I think Amber is standing up to power, against the odds. And she's getting nothing but hate for it. Awful!

I have watched almost all of this trial and there are many things which could be commented on. For me, there is one hurdle I could not get over, especially if I were on the jury. After all AH said, regarding physical abuse and sexual abuse, why didn't she EVER go to a physician to be checked out for ANY injury. Especially the sexual abuse? As a woman, if I thought the bottle had broken inside of me and I had bled for days, I would have absolutely gone to a physician. This makes zero sense to me. I would acquit Johnny Depp on this issue alone. It is not logical to see a physician after you have been assaulted sexually with a liquor bottle which you thought BROKE inside of you and you bled for days. Simply not logical. Either she was messed up on drugs or she is lying.

If she was totally wasted in drugs, she was still very aware of everything, yet wouldn't go to the OB to ck for damages? Maybe she didn't want to accuse JD? Can you remind me at what stage in the relationship she was by this time? Was she done with him or were both of them done? I think they were over by this time. If so, why didn't she collect evidence if she was already into videotaping and taking pictures. We don't see one single pic of the abuse, or any for that matter. I am done with that woman. She gave a bad rep to the *me too movement* . 🤷♀️

Having credentials doesn’t make you credible or mean you’re telling the truth. I’m a graphic designer. That witness was misrepresenting the terms and how it works. Plus, those photos presented were clearly altered.
Oh I think the jury caught on to that. All I was thinking: So you are talking about pictures and all you show is an excel table with file names, and IDs, he himself assigned, that can't be cross referenced with the exhibit number in evidence. Not a single picture shown as an example.

Yes, I was super enjoyed that he misled the listeners. The fact that he could find a matching original says nothing - the images are edited if the data is changed. Doesn’t matter if it’s done automatically by a software or not.
You need the original data to be able to authenticate images, and obviously AH team has provided images that is not the originals.
Absolutely! However, to what he's saying is not just them arguing. Hughes was BIASED. "She" victim, "HE" perp. I'm a psychologist & someone explained it in detail above, but that BIAS of ignoring the possibility a man could be the victim of DV should remove her as any kind of witness IMMEDIATELY.

It’s already been established that she wrote the op ed, just not the title. What they’re trying to prove is that she wrote it about Johnny and did so with malice.
Dr. Hughs, didn’t follow guidelines then make her report. She first wrote her report then made the guidelines bend for her personal opinion notes.
The funny part when she said “you can read the manual”. Then JD’s lawyer shows her the manual and she tries to go around it. Zero credibility!
She did a lot of smirking and and smiling when Johnny was testifying just look her face

As a MS in Computer Science, I can confirm that Johnny's metadata expert was indeed right. Amber's was very misleading. The fact that a picture wasn't intentionally edited doesn't mean that it's not altered. The fact itself that you compress it multiple times with a LOSSY compression means, by itself, that it was altered. That's a fact.
Every time you resave a jpg (in editing software) it's compressed to some degree.

I have a cousin that started taking medication, very heavy doses for depression and other mental issues. Within couple years he gained a lots of weight and his face features changed a lot. He was very handsome, but his face became quite crazy looking. Very sad to see how he got transformed, scary face. That is what happened with AH, and even JD lost some of his sex appeal, he is overweight and clearly on medication. Once you start it medication for mental health, if it is heavy doses, your brain completely changed and your face is the first to show, then your body weight.
The only thing I see when I look at her face is the cheek implants. Reminds me of Maleficent.

Camille Vasquez in that moment shows everyone how that woman not only attacks and try to defames people , she also easily accuses people of crimes when she has something to gain from it. It shows that AH doesn't care if she sends someone to jail for some hypothetical/imaginary crime if it's in her best interest.

I love when Camille smiles and snickers at Amber. I know it is petty but it just makes me smile.
I wonder how the jury will feel when they get out and see all the evidence on line about AH lying. Hopefully they will feel relieved.

When Amber mentioned the gyno visits, I wanted to throw my laptop out the window. Absolutely ridiculous to say, when she produced zero records to substantiate that claim. The day after lack-of-bruise photo felt last minute damning. If he loses, the internet will explode.

She did have records. The court decided not to admit them as hearsay. How do you all miss this? Records from multiple doctors not admitted because "hearsay."

The comment about the gyn was to say she had to put rules how the gyn deals with her exams. Gyn exams are on a regular basis. Every 6 mos - 3 yrs depending on your risk factors ie...not in a monogamous long term relationship
She hated that he very quickly saw through her consequently she punished him at every opportunity.

I thought the hand doctor bought up a great point and something that I have been saying for ages. He pointed out that if he was punching something or had his hand around a phone his knuckles would have been cut and swollen but because johnnys hand relaxed over the bar the underside of his finger was able to be cut
I think the fact that Amber’s lawyer omitted asking Amber about sexual abuse while she was on the stand should be scrutinized much more than it seems to be, because Amber testified about sexual abuse, so to me, it’s a subtle way of back-tracking on those allegations, because both the “bottle rape” and the cavity search stories are to be taken solely on Amber’s word, so to me, that’s just very telling that some of her claims may be outright lies, but because she chose to testify about those incidents when it’s already been inferred that all she needed to do was claim emotional abuse at the very least, and because the op-ed mentioned sexual abuse, it’s as if they just have to run with it.
OMG I so noticed that to and if the jury picked up on too their going to think that the lawyers knew she was lying. I don't think they are going to look at like he was trying to say all she has to prove is he was emotionally abusive and if they say that in their closing and I think they will it won't sit well with the jury because it didn't sit well with me.
@@tinafight6426 if I remember correctly, I believe Rottenborn did say something akin to that after their witness testified about all the various types of abuses, emotional, financial, etc. also as a juror, I feel like it’s very important to pay attention to body language, demeanor, etc because even though detecting lying through body language is kind of a pseudo-science at best, as humans, I feel like people who are savvy and intelligent enough can make well-informed judgements about that for themselves

I’m really disappointed in our legal system after this. Very disappointing how actual evidence wasn’t allowed or presented and how this has played out. If someone is blind enough to believe Ambers load of crap and she wins - I guarantee the jury will be angry to see the actual evidence that shows Amber is lying and wasn’t presented in court
Yes especially regarding the Australia vodka bottle incident. There is audio that proves her guilt to that!!
Agree, once they go back (I would) and view/listen to all the video/audio recordings they will be angry. I listened to just and audio recording and she clearly displays her insecurity and control issues. In one part she kept saying over and over, “love me, love me…..”. JD responded with, “you can’t just demand things Amber.”. (or something close to that)
I haven't trusted the legal system for years. My son was wrongfully sent to prison for 7 yrs at the age of 18fir something that was NEVER proven. He was home 6 months and committed suicide due to his suffering from being in prison at such a young age. So yes I'm furious to see and hear her lies. If she does win this someone probably will hurt her. I just feel bad for her baby and hope whoever the real father is comes forward and takes the child away from her

I've worked with computers in one way or another all my life. Anyone who does knows that in that field, most people don't have fancy degrees, especially the really talented ones... were I in the jury, I really wouldn't put much stock in the experts' credentials, but rather what was presented - and the evidence speaks for itself.
Yesterday I felt sorry for Amber´s lawyers. After seeing her again in the stand, she tanked herself with her behavior, statements and her "I know and I am better than everyone of you peasants" attitude. Calling everyone of Johnny´s witnesses just being there for his show circus. Their lawyers will get a bad reputation because of the puplic broadcasting of the trial. But you can´t win when your client is her own worst witness for herself. Not genuine at all.
Yes, her comment about people coming out of the woodwork could equally apply to her witnesses, many had dropped contact with her, and only reappeared for this case. I hope in the summing up they make a long list of all the people she says lied under oath, as either she is right and all of them are wrong, or more likely, they all are right, and she is wrong.
The thing is, watching Elaine's opening statements, I think she actually started this case believing in AH just as much as Camille believes in JD. The 2 or 3 times her team did something "Rotten," Elaine did not appear to have been involved. Her attitude has become much more frustrated and perfunctory over the course of the case.

Several times Heard told her lawyers things that the lawyers then presented to court (like the muffins) and found out in court were lies, that actually made them look silly for believing and presenting to court, so now Elaine fully realises Heard will lie to get attention and sympathy, and no longer believes or trusts her, so Elaine is not allowing herself to get emotionally invested any longer with such an unreliable person.

The photo of Amber 'the next day after courthouse' was printd in a magazine the next day. Wonder would it not have been easy to track mag photographer down to check when it was taken
I think you missed where the photo guy for Johnny said he received a copy of a copy of a copy. He was never able to do the right way for forensics analysis because he never received the original digital files.
That’s right, AH team never gave originals or the cellphone, tablets or laptop. They are evil, pure evil.
I thought it was insane how they tried to turn the meta-data around on JD's attorneys, when they failed to provide it, and the redacted image was their exhibit. They redacted the meta-data.
Isn't funny also that she was court ordered to turn over her devices to JD team so they could be examined and she never did yet her metadata guy said he had the devices to look at and I found it extremely odd that the picture was redacted from the evidence pulled up on the screen that should of gone with the information he was talking about

As far as the effectiveness of the recordings, I find the one where Amber is continually mocking and needling Johnny ("I wanna know ..I wanna know...what?...your book ... hahahaha...your book???...hahaha ..tell me ..tell me!!")
is the most disturbing. She is SO arrogant and abusive in that one. No victim of DV, especially a victim of the horrific acts she has described, mocks and insults their abuser that way. She was and is not afraid of him in any way. Her maniacal laughter is truly chilling. What a contrast to her dramatic performance of lies when she poorly recounts supposed abuse!

When Camille was questioning her about leaks to TMZ didnt Heard state that if she wanted stories to be leaked she could do them far more effectivley.....but didnt she testify that she wouldn't have a clue on how to leak a story to the press??
JD's metadata guy said that the way they gave him the photos, there was no way to tell which are originals as metadata can also be manipulated. He said in 99% of cases he works on, he gets the original device the photos were taken on. This time, he didn't. He was just given a bunch of photos, some were the same one in different versions. AH's metadata guy was actually given access to the devices which he listed off, iphone such and such, ipad etc. so he felt confident to say that some were originals but still couldn't explain the two versions of a photo that had the same filename, same time and date to the second but looked visually different.
I think there was some decision on what they could testify to because they seemed unable to mention colors and saturation. To me it looked obvious that the colors or saturation had been messed with for the different versions. I'm not familiar with the iphone photos program but google photos lets you choose filters to get the look you want and you can save different versions of the same photo.
Her answer was even more interesting… these people are lying for Johnny and that’s why I wrote the oped. An admission it was about JD to counter the lies.
Any one else feel the Kate Moss stairs confabulation by A. H reminds them of her muffins distortion? Something happens and she twists it beyond recognition! I have seen her do this over and over during this trial. I hope JD gets justice 🌈

I would almost think the only goal of the counterclaim was to get a rebuttle and go last ;)
Since the case started my understanding of everything has changed, and I now see it as the whole case exists because of a massive miscalculation by Heard and her sister and friends, abusively underestimating Depp’s strength of character and his eventual determination to stand up for himself, rather than him continuing to seek to avoid confrontation.
My take on it all, well let’s imagine me and you knew Amber and were lazy spongers like her friends. We live rent free at a flat of Depp’s all our bills are paid, we get drink and drugs for free, life is cool! Then Amber finds out Depp is going to divorce her, and she and us will lose our carefree life. So we all agree to jump on the then current me too agenda, and accuse Depp of violence against Amber, as while the law says he can’t come near her we can carry on living for free. We know accusing Depp of being violent is really clever, as he will never want to go public to oppose us as he is very private. So we phone the police to say he was violent and smashed up the place, so we have built up a case against him, and carry on living for free while the police investigations continue. But then bloody hell, the police come round to answer our phone call, and see there has been no damage. Now we have been caught out lying. Damn. OK, we are in it so deep now we can’t back out, so we lie more and more.
We are angry at Amber for putting us in this mess, though we think we will probably get some money from her from the divorce. We have to keep on lying to make it look as though Depp was violent, so we bluff, and say a photo shows bruising, when clearly it doesn’t. And we have to keep on lying as we don’t want to be exposed as liars and subject to perjury action. We say there was clearly damage to the flat after the fight, when there was no fight and the independent visiting police prove clearly there was no damage. But we keep trying to bluff it out, even though we know we look more and more dishonest with each lie of ours that is exposed.
Amber says she has mountains of evidence, but actually she just has us repeating what we have privately agreed is our joint version of events.
We drop connection with Amber, as we are angry after all the trouble we have got into because of her, but help her by lying more in court for our own protection.
You may be very accurate in this course of events!

JD's meta data guy wasn't given access to the devices, he was only given the pictures which severely limited his testimony. It was crazy that's allowed to happen.
AH's meta data guy did have a better CV, but he I agree in that he came across sleazy. Then on cross when you compare the 2 pictures with the same filename, date & time stamp the guy won't even admit that something is up with them or at least 1 has been edited - he's treating the jury like fools if he thinks he can just BS them when you have 2 side by side pictures which they can see themselves have been changed. From what I've heard the jury is also fairly young on the most part so they'll know how pictures can be faked.
AH's expert also testified that he only looked at the pictures that JDs expert looked at - why wouldn't you look at them all unless you're trying not to find any discrepancies.
Ben had the Alpaca in his hand in one of the videos of them walking into court.
i was thinking something. with amber. she is clearly a narcissit and proved it. they are notorious for accusing yourself and anyone else of the very things that they themseselves are doing.

I think it will depend on who gets on the final jury. If some jurors have formed diametrically opposed opinions and refuse to consider other opinions it could take a while. But I suspect it might take only a few hours.

I went from not supporting Johnny at all and now after hearing the evidence - I am convinced Amber is a narcissistic pathological liar and she needs some help. Amber really needs mental health help and Johnny needs to heal from his childhood abuse and I’m sure that will help his drug issue

It's amazing how she remembers when she was on the floor she went on and on about the dirty carpet yet she couldn't remember the dates of those identical photos of the wine bottle spilled on the floor that had 2 different dates. And suddenly she was a computer expert when asked about the spilled wine. I hope the jury doesn't believe a word she said especially since she comes across as the only one who is right.
I think Johnny's team should mention that "humor" and "laughing" often is a way of dealing with severe trauma and should not be misinterpreted as arrogance or contempt.
I think you should bring in someone dressed as "The Muffin Man" during your "Captain Jack" stream.

Ackert testified that for the images that Neumeister could not verify, he had access to the originals. He had access to the devices AH did not turn over before the close of discovery. She turned over screenshots of the images with no identifying meta data. Her team got Ackert to testify to the images she did not turn over to Depp.
Camille not only pointed out that "everyone else lies but you" but also that AH's alleged evidence was premeditated from day one, including the errors within the "evidence". (intent and malice...)

Yesterday AH said Johnny is a powerful man and she knew a lot of people would come out supporting him, "That's why I wrote the op-ed." Think this significant point was overlooked here. Furthermore, any reasonable person would assume AH's metadata expert was either lying or incompetent if he claimed two identical pictures were in fact different. He's trying to tell us to disbelieve our eyes and trust what he says. That just brings his credibility into question and makes Johnny's metadata expert a more believable witness.
That point caught my attention too: "That's why I wrote the op-ed."

Im new to the channel and can say I really appreciate that you provide un bias perspectives for both sides. It’s easy to get caught up with the emotion, forget the law and get stuck to one side. So even though sometimes I don’t like what’s being said, I like how you make me step back and remind me to stay focused on the law despite my feelings. Great job!!!
The UK will take this seriously, because right now their system looks completely broken ... How Heard's side won in the UK is beyond me.
The UK case was decided by a single person, the judge, and with such decisions there is always the chance of a rogue decision made in opposition to the actual facts.
In the UK they have what is called controllers; and the way that they submit evidence over there is completely different than the way it is here. In the US attorneys can keep submitting motions for discovery, over there all of evidence must be submitted in advance; you have to let the person know what you're doing with their data, and how you're going to use it; it's just different.

The expert about the images lost me when he tried to convince me my eyes were lying to me. I may not be a lawyer or an expert but I can clearly see those pics were the same photo just edited differently and no one can convince me otherwise. How dare he insult our intelligence like that.

She was snarky and haughty all through the trial. Johnny was broken. When he got to talk, he was quite charismatic.
I see team AH lawyer stopped JD explaining fully that on 20th when his Mum dies he told AH he wanted a divorce. Then on 27th she filed for divorce and a tro. A reason for malice as its hurtful for most people but for somebody with histrionic disorder fear of abandonment its a heinous crime
He shouldn’t have told her. ESP right before leaving the country for 2-3 month. Should have told his divorce lawyers to start the paperwork and that he’d deal with it after he got back.

wow thats crazy I didn't really think much about Amber's Metadata expert but hearing you say he seemed more qualified really got me thinking, I wonder if others feel the same. so Ambers Meta data expert with a degree in computer forensics 20 years exp over Johnny's expert with 40 years exp, his company has a contract with the Department of Defense, "classified work with various agencies" has US Supreme Court cases and the list goes on and on. lol when Ambers expert was studying for his degree ,Neumeister was already out in the field working getting actual experience. Im sure Ambers expert is more qualified for tech overall like if u needed help hacking emails that would be your guy lol but when it comes to video and audio I think Neumeister is hands down the better expert. But I think they definitely crippled Neumeisters testimony by not allowing him to talk about how the photos were "visually altered", he could only talk about the metadata. Makes me wonder how the jury is going to react.
