And she wasn't shy, she would shout, mock him, laugh in his face when trying to talk to her and verbally abusing him and all while being VERY snarky. So why didn't she ever say anything. She just talked about her actions and tried to defend herself. Then would blatantly lie in court when these were played, saying she didn't say the things we just heard her say. This is not how a victim would talk to her abuser. And let's not forget that she tried making out she was the shrinking violet that feared so much for her life. Exactly. She made sure to put herself in that situation when he was angry in the kitchen. She didn't need to be there. She just wanted to get this on film. And trying so hard to make it about her aswell. So sly. And she got away with it for 6yrs aswell. She knew exactly what she was doing at this point, the min he said "pre nup" . That's when she started documenting these things, and she knew he was about some with her. Trying to make out that him shouting at her was abuse, when he was just responding is a joke too. That's called an argument when you've been pushed too far. And Ben rottenborn didn't mention the SA at all. He tried to make all this now about mental abuse, because they knew they were screwed. But that's not what any of the claims were about. So weak it was laughable. And Elaine needs to go bk to clown college where she learned to be an attorney. But can't blame them. Our family has an estate planning firm here in Scottsdale. I have 20+ years experience in the legal field, working personal injury, civil litigation, commercial litigation, etc. I don’t miss the process of civil litigation but I miss the excitement of the courtroom. Just like you, I am not a fan of reading the entire closing arguments off of paper. I much prefer seeing people using it as reference. Camille is great and looks like she’s on her way to becoming a very successful lawyer. I assume that there is too much at stake that the team may fear muck ups. I’m crossing my fingers for Johnny but the reality of all the rules makes this a difficult one to win. Again, he already won the court of public opinion, regardless of what the mainstream media says. It is highly unlikely that Amber would have ever carried very many leading roles in major motion pictures. She lacks the talent, and the looks too in comparison to someone like Gadot. After this trial, regardless of the verdict, her career is over. Career-wise, it might even be worse for her if she wins.

I’m starting to think Rottenborn and the gang wanted to bring all of the accusations into light purposely just to reinforce the idea that there are so many allegations and instances to choose from and only one needs to be true. Because his closing argument went in a completely different direction than the rest of AH’s team’s arguments throughout the rest of the trial.
Either that, or they recognized they would lose this case if they continued to argue the way they were and decided to focus on the most basic, simplest approach of emphasizing the jury’s responsibility of following the letter of the law.
It’s like they said, “ok look. Forget about Amber and everybody else’s testimonies and just listen to me for a second. Teeeechnically she didn’t wriiiite the words. And teeeeechnically the words weren’t reeeeally faaaaalse. Therefore, you should return a verdict in favor of AH.”

Notice how her lawyers never once probe her on stand about her SA claim. It was just her spinning a falsehood so way over the top so brutal with no supporting evidence that they didn't bother wasting time going there. No side examines or counter examines her on this - no side asks why she didn't report it to police or seek medical treatment or told anyone prior to this trial, given the severity and horrible injuries she claimed she suffered.
She brought publicist for just in case, documented him passed out for just in case, documented him thrashing cupboard (on day after his mum demise) for just in case, but NEVER document her injuries "for just in case" ....because that never happened and more pertinently she never imagined Johnny would sue her. That proves there isn't a "just in case" probability on SA to her back then. She knew her op-ed is a lie and unless she comes up with story of rape to jump on the "metoo" wagon, her lie will be exposed.
