"Swearing under oath" clearly doesn't mean anything. Some people are definitely lying while under oath.
Tough point on the stairs incident by Witney. She claims she was coming in between to stop HIM from charging AMBER. Yet she explains that she is standing with her back to HIM. If someone is aggressive and a threat and. you want to stop him, it's very unlikely that she had her back on him. Unless she was stopping Amber, as she told her friend and colleagues.
As far as I can remember, the “headbut” was described by JD when AH was going crazy and he tried to hold and control her. He admitted their head collided.
The audio tapes presented are what put me on JD’s side. Never have I heard a DV victim speak, yell and laugh at their abuser like as AH does.

To be fair, he never sounds scared of her, but those audio really sound like the opposite of her testimony. She claimed that "the monster" was when Depp would take drugs or drink and get violent as a result. So you would assume that she would be scared of him if he's drunk or on something. But in most of those recordings, he's clearly on something, but he's never violent toward her in any of them while, far from being scared, I would characterize her part in those recordings as straight up emotional abuse.
I agree. The one where she mockingly laughs like a maniac show who the actual abuser is. Verbally, they most likely were both abusive. I don't think Johnny ever got physical tho past the point of shoving her back and restraining her.

Why would Johnny bring this to trial to save his reputation if he knew all of this was going to come out! If he abused her…he would never have brought this case against her.
He brought it against her because she keeps going after him for money. She's a gold digger and Elon Musk saw it after he paid 500,00 bucks to a charity for her just to screw her, where as the 30 other guys got it for free. my opinion. How many people were living off Johnny?
I felt this way from the start… especially since he is very private person and until now we havent heard anything about his life…her side isn’t right a lot of staged events and bunch of freeloaders

Well right now nobody knows. You can't use circumstantial reverse logic to argue a case. It requires hard evidence and in this case without actual security footage to prove it then it's just hearsay and testimony which is pretty shaky but it's better than nothing.
Legal bytes also mentioned that Lance Armstrong sued people vehemently for accusing him of doping… and we saw how that turned out.
I think it’s important to point out that not only were these people living for free but they were living a lifestyle that they could never imagine in their wildest dreams. Penthouses, gyms, pools, expensive wine , lots of free drugs, etc. We are not just talking couch surfing here.
Amber was taking a stimulant drug most likely used for weight loss.

What I don't understand is that if Amber wanted to show abuse why did she never go to the Dr's or hospital to absolutely prove the abuse? Maybe because she had no injuries for them to see.

Victims don’t typically want to show they are abused and often lie to protect their abuser. Also, most bruises and minor injuries don’t require medical attention. I’m not an Amber supporter, just think we don’t need to disqualify all victims in the process to prove a point.

@@jsnow4379 I agree, but for me it's when JD was out of the country and before Amber went to court why didn't she go to the hospital in the days after the assault or the day she went to court, after all she seems to have an injury? to me this makes no sense if you are going to report abuse in court why not go to the hospital before the same day or the day before and yes most victims do that and we saw it with JD with his finger he protects her and today they use this against him

Why is Johnny's legal team not hammering witnesses who said there was huge messes in the penthouse since police said they looked around and there was no mess.

In her testimony AH said they had a regular housekeeper. I wish they would’ve deposed her to clarify some of the messes. Especially the glass supposedly left all over the floor and the turd in the bed.
I heard a good argument around this question. All Ambers witnesses were hearing about the abuse from Amber, they never witnessed it first hand - they took Amber’s word. So as long as they prove Amber as the liar, all the other witnesses lose credibility by extension.
Most of these witnesses were present for the trailer campfire Kelly Sue moment and none of them said JD grabbed her wrist, threatened her and made her cry, something that would’ve been incredibly memorable.

Ms. Iglesias-makeup artist-said she could not be friends with Amber due to it becoming overly consuming relationship.

The make up artist, when asked to describe AH's bruises, she said it looked as if someone could have "HEAD BUTTED" her lightly. This is why I discredit her because AH said JD allegedly head butted her. How does someone look at somebody's bruises on their face and determine that it was caused by a head butt.This is the only social media I have by choice, so I hope you see this comment. It doesn't look like you reply to anyone, but I thought I'll try.
She all so said her split lip was on the right side and her bruised face was the right but all pictures of her face show the left side

Samantha McMillan - Amber's stylist, testified in the UK trial that she spent all afternoon and evening with Amber on the 16th December, before she went on the James Corden show. She testified that she saw NO injuries on Amber whatsoever. So that tells me that this make up artist is lying.

Rocky and Amber are friends. They are saying they aren't because they think it will make their testimony more credible. One thing I noticed is that Io, Rocky and Whitney all used the same "flowery" language Amber did to describe Johnny when they first met him.
100 percent I have said the same. Rocky, Oi Tillett Wright are saying they are not friends because it will make the jury think they are no longer biased against Johnny. It is a Amber fake job.

One thing that didn’t make sense to me about Josh’s testimony is when he said that him and Rocky used their key to get into the penthouse because they were worried about Amber since she wasn’t responding to them, and when they got in there and seen how messed up the apt was and how they could tell something was wrong and Rocky told him to go back to their apt while she ran up to check on Amber 🤔🤔 Ok… So, y’all see that there is some destruction but yet the man, a decent sized man at that, is sent home to wait for a text/call while his fiancé is left alone to find another petite woman?? Who’s man would do that? Knowing that Johnny has supposedly been violent before.

This is what I was thinking! He said he didn't hear from her for 10-15 minutes. I'm sorry but someone could kill her in that time. If you came to your own house trashed are really going to let your wife go in alone and wait outside for 15 minutes. It's illogical and sounds a little insane.
Also to me the acting coach looked hurt when Camille essentially spelled it out for her that amber hadn’t contacted her in years until she needed her to be a witness and after wining and dining her and outing her heart out to this former friend, she then asks her to be a witness.
The thing that needs to be remembered is that AH demanded 3 penthouses for her friends in the divorce 'extortion' letter. The friends at the time stood to benefit from the divorce.
Did the testmony in AH favor happen after JD removed them from his property? If so they could have been angry about it and wanted to hurt JD.
How could those depositions even make into the trial with SO MUCH HEARSAY and Speculation in them? Shouldn't they have redacted all that?

They are all edited out ahead of time depending on what the lawyers object to and what the court says. They do the same (defense, plaintiff, defense or vis versa) it's just hard to tell the differences in the voices doing the questioning.
There was cross in those. I definitely thought the same thing about all the hearsay, but now that I think about it I think most of it was about people who gave their testimony as well, so I think that's why it's admissible.
Ive had lots of facial plastic surgery and any of the facial pics could be from the nose surgery, eyelid and lip surgeries I KNOW Amber had. Being an actress you dont let people pummel you!

If JD did everything that's she said he did I would think there would have been some permanent damage. She would have scars on her face if he hit her numerous times in the face wearing all those heavy rings. Would have taken weeks to recover from such injuries.
Imagine, an actress with a face projected on screens 45-65’ wide x 30’ tall staying in a relationship where most of the claimed injuries are on her face. Not buying it. Full stop.
A simple explanation for why her 'friends' aren't friends anymore: The wheels fell off their gravy train the moment they got evicted and they've all realized there's no reason to continue slogging barefoot through the mud with her, even while still believing Johnny beat Amber.

From what I saw Whitney testified today to the exact opposite of what Whitney said in some deposition in 2016 in regards to the stair thing.
@@2rific_2 Don't worry, the reason they let Whitney go on and on is that they got the most important admission out of her...that she was very close to Jennifer Howell, her former boss who Whitney stayed with for about a year to escape her abusive sister--and whose testimony is going to impeach Whitney big time.
I wish Johnny's team had done a layover of those two pics allegedly showing her injured cheek. They were identical. The only thing that is different was the saturation and size of the photos. Every single strand of hair is 100% identical.
Also, I do believe Amber had some slight discoloration. I think it's caused by Botox tho. She had several procedures done. She look a different person now.
Peter, what did you think about what AH told the acting coach about how JD lost his finger? What AH told her, according to her, lines up more w/ JD's version (a broken bottle vs a phone).

And the fact that AH team reached out to them only right before this but they haven't talked in years beforehand, seems a bit odd too.

I had a friend in college many years ago who had bi-polar disorder. He was so up and down, eratic and paranoid at times it was exhausting and very emotionally draining to be his friend. That did not last. It is very plausible to me that AH lost her friendships due to the chaos that was her life with BPD.

What further cements to me that this is rehearsed is when Whitney said she was hit (Amber tried to sound heroic and desperate to stop another Kate Moss moment, no way she'd misremember Johnny actually hitting Whitney) and then Racquie couldn't remember seeing Amber put on makeup the morning they got the TRO (Amber was trying to establish a pattern of herself always concealing the injuries, and wanted to hammer home that Racquie said NOT to hide them that morning--no way Racquie would forget saying thay).
Josh Drew stated that he was also a victim of abuse. By whom? Was it Rocky? Inquiring minds want to know.
I thought he was talking about childhood abuse, which is something that JD also experienced, so gave them common ground to bond over. But I might be remembering incorrectly.
Earlier this evening my dog accidentally hit my lip with his snout (he’s so cute) and my lip swelled up a little! Seriously if someone is hit on the face with rings the skin would be broken, open with wounds to say the LEAST! I’m a survivor of DA and AH is the ABUSER!
It could be nothing, but Josh Drew didn’t answer “no” to some key questions about staging and makeup. He answered those questions with “not that I saw” or “not that I was aware of.”

Make up artist went into how shes made bruises for fx and then realized she said it and said AND covering it. I also noticed josh said that her attorny told them to get together and do a fact of statement or what ever. Also, theres 2 make up artist. The one whos depo (ive read) was mentioned in the make up artist depo. And she said that she was there before her
Yes! Josh was told by Ambers team to “get together” with the other witnesses and get their stories straight, which would explain why they sounded the same and totally REHEARSED.
It's the stylist Samantha McMillan, who testified in the UK trial, that she saw no injuries on Amber. I believe her deposition over the make up artist's. I wish it had been brought up.
Whitney lost ALL credibility when she said Johnny hit her on the staircase. To me it was such a blatant lie about Whitney getting hit , ithrew out her entire testimony.

Whitney exaggerated the story to the point she was beat herself.
Rocky can't remember seeing Amber putting on makeup, yet AH said Rocky stopped her because it would have went further towards getting the TRO approved (plus they had her publicist there--they wanted eyes on the spectacle)
Is her former assistant going to be asked to give evidence again, as she has said the bottle incident actually happened to Kate James while travelling in South America during a terrible rape incident many years ago, and Amber has claimed part of her horrific story as hers. She needs to be recalled .
It wasn't the makeup artist that said she didn't see anything. It was the stylist that worked with her all day. Elaine asked her about her before she ended direct to lay doubt before she is mentioned. I'm an mua and the concealer and color she said amber uses is far too dark for her complexion so I didn't believe some of what she said.

I do believe JD can be an obnoxious jerk when he overdoes certain substances, but I don't believe he assaulted her. I believe AH staged stuff and injured herself because the photographed injuries are so minor. The makeup artist said the bruised coloring was faint and she seemed unsure as to what type of lesion was on her lip and how to describe it.

Agreed, there are definitely half truths sprinkled in but at the end of the day I don't think he beat her the way she says. Now verbal abuse is one thing, but their recordings show that was more than a fair fight. She was often the aggressor and more belligerent of them both.
I think AH wants to desperately live within this con because her marriage brought out the worst in her.

@@basketballman1854 I agree, but I saw so many on-line attorneys saying he was credible. But the part of him meeting with Amber after not speaking for 2 YEARS told me the meeting was all about what to say in his testimony.
There was also the moment when Rottenberg asked Rocky about one particular incident finishing the phrase with "is this right?" and as an answer, she asked him back if that is what she testified previously. He replied: "that's what you testified previously, yes", only then did Rocky say "Yes that's what has happened then " is this actually allowed?
I feel so sorry for these jurors. I was on a jury for a knife attack and it only took 3 days - and it was exhausting. So glad I wasn’t on one like this.
Some of those depositions were rough. Rocky literally put me to sleep. She seems a bit slow in the head. 😂
I have my reservations when I listen to miss Pennington's testimony, during her first testimony she suddenly started to tell that she appeared in the master bedroom and had seen a broken bottle of red wine with the glass all over the bed. Now what did she suddenly have to do in the master bedroom, without any reason to be there. Found her to adopt a certain annoyed attitude from the start that seemed rather strange to me and then that overly tearful reaction when she looked at Amber's virtually unscathed face in those photos, it was clearly acted out. I see this lady more as Amber's accomplice. Be aware there is not one witness which stated that they saw that MR.Depp assaulted miss Heard. Everything is from hersay from miss Heard.
Could the tears brought on from the pictures be due to the guilt felt at remembering what was really done to give Amber redness in those pictures...

I was thinking about how freely these people all wandered through Johnny’s home! The penthouses connected over the top and entered on the level where JD’s bedroom was. I don’t wander into my own brother’s house without going to the front door and when inside, I would not dream of wandering into their bedroom!!! Such disrespect! No wonder Johnny eventually snapped and told them all to get out. They were a bunch of freeloaders taking advantage of Johnny’s good nature and generosity. No one tried to stop the drinking and drugging culture in that house. Who knows how things would have been in that regard had they all butted out. He seems to have had no privacy in his own home! I notice it wasn’t his family living off him!

I felt same way. She responded to each direct question MUCH quicker than cross. Direct answers were way too immediate like she knew questions. Showed no thought process before answering, esp for stuff that happened years ago.

They already testified in a UK court, now if they would change their testimony it would look like they perjure themselves. The fact that all of them are estranged from Amber is very significant.
For some reason, no one is telling why. I think there are several reasons, but the most important most likely is that they regret supporting her from the beginning of this situation. Some of them help her to create this drama. Maybe they were counting on some monetary rewards or something else. Most of them were at that time angry with Johnny Deep because he basically throw them out, they lost all the benefits they abundantly enjoyed.
Some later learned about the dark side of this creative drama that's why they broke up with each other. and so on.

Of course, they are saying partial truths, but this is the old known base of propaganda to mix truthful staff with confabulation. It is much more effective than all lies.
Everybody knows that Johnny is very gracious, besides ppl know that they were living on his back like leeches for a long time. Rent-free, vacations in Europe, the Bahamas, on the privet yacht, and so on. Everything for free. Pointless would be to denayed.
To not write a book here, I will mention the chunk of hair that Amber supposedly lost as a result of Johnny's attack.

The hair in the picture looks like a bunch from the extensions.
It is impossible to tear out a bunch of hair like that without the roots. And if somehow somebody would manage to do that then this place would be a bloody empty.
Hair behaves like a rope, that's why sometimes we can see people doing all sorts of things with hair: pulling heavy items like a car, hanging, and so on.
BTW The resemblance of little blood can be applied very easily.

I heard Whitney say she had her back to Johnny in the stair situation. Didn't the witness for Johnny say Whitney put herself between AH and Johnny? She was trying to stop AH. That would put her back to Johnny.
I also found Whitney somewhat credible, but later I was watching some streaming of this same portion by The Body Language Guy behavior analyst and during the break after her testimony he went back and really studied that portion of video with one camera angle on Whitney and the other on Elaine and also showing JD and Ben Chew. For most of Whitney's testimony he was commenting that her responses and body language seemed credible. But he did comment that the speed of her responses were very quick and seemed very well prepped and rehearsed. At the moment when she stated JD grabbed AH by the hair and started hitting her, JD reacts sharply and takes his glasses off. It seems JD was not shocked or surprised or even disagreeable to her testimony up to that point. TBLG also noted both Whitney and Elaine seem very tense during this portion of the testimony. Elaine is pensive in anticipation of her responses and nods with each point she makes. It just seems that this was a very carefully planned and rehearsed testimony. Thoughts? Maybe AH team decided to go for this version after knowing they were losing badly and needed a strong win?

As someone who has education in trauma informed training, in my own observations about AH and JD's backgrounds, they both come from abusive households. Johnny's coping mechanism for his trauma seems like substance abuse, and resentment/aggression towards a woman figure (his mother was abusive). Ambers also has substance abuse as well but also resorts to aggression and violence (she has a lot of masculine traits) and a lot of projection (perhaps anger she feels towards her own father). The way she described Johnny as a "dead beat father", and how she always wants him to "get sober", is almost like she is projecting her anger and resentment towards her own father and her upbringing with him as an abuser and substance user. A lot of trauma stems from childhood, so also the fact that Whitney was "okay" with her sister still being with an "abuser" can be because they are used to knowing "love" as abuse. I also feel like both Johnny and Amber had a trauma bond, and with similar experiences in their childhoods, but instead of "healing" together, they didn't heal their own wounds - they just bonded over their pain and it was a toxic relationship with a lot of inner-child wounding. Really sad honestly. I hope that when this is all said and done, they can both find a good support system to really heal. I am not condoning either of their behaviours, I also do not believe Amber's story is consistent. I'm also a former DV victim, and her energy just doesn't sit well with me intuitively. I am simply stating an opinion and observation.

I agree with the majority of your comment and explanation. Well stated. I respectfully disagree with a response that your comments are too long especially when it has substance. I personally don't see Johnny as aggressive at all but rather one of his coping tools is avoidance which when coupled with Amber's abandonment is a driving force in her spiraling events. I do believe she "wants" to change but does not have healthy tools OR at least utilize them. It seems she needs intense counseling and my hope is that she may begin to recognize and accept her personality disorders and work on them with a professional skilled in her specific needs.
Whatever the outcome of the trial, the next guy or gal that gets involved with Amber is in for living hell!

Peter, I read a sworn statement by her makeup artist the other day saying she saw no injuries, so I was surprised too. Apparently it was her stylist, not another makeup artist who was also there on the day who said she saw no injuries.
Amber had a "Bruise Kit" ...NOT one that COVERS bruises... one that CREATES bruises for tv/movies/stage. The makeup artist was covering FAKE BRUISES !!!

No makeup artist said it was painful to apply makeup on her. After a couple of days its not sensitive. A banged up nose ( she says with no verification) can start bleeding when touched. Especially next day and it is painful as hell. If the makeup artist added that to her comment I would of believed her. PAINFUL AS HELL TO THE TOUCH

Amber has the strangest tics involving her mouth. Once IO got tired in testimony, they started doing it too. Then saw Rocky doing weird things with her mouth too once she got tired in testimony. So strange. Feels like that old story that used to go around about how young friends take on each other’s tics. It used to be a big thing in media.

Dog out window: that was taken from something her dad did. He has multiple convictions for animal cruelty and dog fighting. She lifted that story straight out her childhood and put it onto Johnny..... AH's own private detective went on record to say "all of this about Johnny is untrue, no one has a bad word to say about him".
The only dirt they dug up was that he spent a year sleeping rough at age 17, no one knew that until the PI dug it up. Which explains his humility, and why he fed all the homeless guys friends and left them $400 for his phone back..... And why he stood up for the homeless woman on City of Lies set.

Rumor has it that after AH's confused and disjointed testimony during the trial on May16/17, 2022, the American Law Society issued its very first and precedence setting "Amber Alert" warning to all lawyers.
Watching his trial makes me so sad. Clearly both Johnny and Amber had very unloving, unstable childhoods and now they are hurting each other so much, as they did when they were together. Often what people believe to be love is so far from love, but instead created in addictions that end up creating s ouch pain and suffering, which is so obvious and clear in this situation. For clarification Jennifer Howell was introduced during WH’s cross approximately 4 statements were made WH worked for her, lived with her for a year, confided in her, and considered her a “sister”. JH’s depo is on the witness list-possibly rebuttal is the thought! I couldn’t chat last night while watching but I truly did not find any of her witness’ creditable, while I thought Josh came close his statement about the significant injuries but then agreed to the photo was what he saw, these do not come close to Rihanna’s injuries in which I would clearly state those WERE “significant” not Amber’s. I won’t dismiss that Amber may have been subjected to some abuse but I feel AH brought it on and was the instigator, I do NOT think JD was dramatic and started any of the arguments that escalated. I am all about “keep it real” AH not taking any responsibility for her own actions left me with only one conclusion, so far I cannot vote in her favor. As a poss juror I would definitely give a win on the title to JD I do not believe she experienced SA. I am disappointed in AH for making a mockery of DV. While I am an adult and do have some empathy for AH and do not want anything bad to happen to her, I still believe she thinks she is an “entitled” woman and should “learn from this very damaging error on her part. I think Rocky did cry, not because the situation was bringing up an emotional or traumatic experience, but because of the dilemma she was in.
Fact is that she has a child now, her life is no longer filled with drugs and partying, she's grown up into a woman, but here comes the consequences of her involvement with Amber heard threatening to collapse it all - even just having to do a video depo puts her into a super stressful situation, and worse yet, she has no path forward except having to continue the lie, because in the event she doesn't, I don't even know what kind of consequences she will face, but safe to say that society in general will not show her any mercy and this lack of mercy will also affect her child.
Could such a situation bring a person to tears? Add a big spoonful of guilt in addition to another spoonful for once again having to lie and condemn an innocent man for something he did not do, then yeah, i think it could actually be enough to emotionally break a person to the point of tears.

My abuser was so adept at gaslighting me. Unlike many other abusers he never apologized after hitting me, nor did he ever even acknowledge having inflicted any injuries. He would literally look at me stone cold serious & say he had never touched me or that I must have done it to myself (broken noses, black eyes, chipped tooth etc.) I felt totally insane. He would do everything he could to drain my energy & talk in circles. He constantly instigated fights. Followed me from room to room. Busted down doors & ripped them off the hinges if I locked myself
In a room for safety. He kept me sleep deprived for years. He lied to all of his friends & family & told them I was crazy & he put on an act of being a long suffering victim. He loved to hit me, push me, spit on me & verbally abuse me to try & get a reaction & if he finally did get one he would whip out his phone & film me “being out of control” then send it off to my family or his friends to humiliate & discredit me. He actually had kids born during our marriage with other women/secret families on two continents which I ended up finding out about!!! My abuser always told me how worthless & unlovable I was & that no one would believe me. That if I spoke up he would “expose me” for the awful person I supposedly was & everyone would hate me. Eventually I started to believe him. I was terrified of going to trial as well as obtaining a restraining order even though I had a slew of hospital records & photographs. A couple of years after I left him I started to heal & realize just how warped my thought process had been & how twisted with shame & fear I was. It felt very therapeutic for me to finally tell the truth & share my story. It was my way of coming to terms & making sense of what had happened to me. Sharing what happened to me & clearing my name didn’t feel petty. It felt like reclaiming reality & taking back my dignity. Perhaps Johnny feels the same. 🥺
I think that you are completely missing something with Josh Drew, what he testified to about the police is not only in contradiction to what the police say but also the bodycam footage. He testified that he took the second officers to view the damage and that they walked over the wine stain the corridor.....well the bodycam footage completely contradicts that!!!
