AH’s expressions today were Gold ! So Smug and Arrogant.. showed her true character 💔
Depp is arrogant but I guess people think he deserves to be full of himself?
How dare she be angry or arrogant instead of knowing her place?
What woman would want to be her through this trial if she's telling the truth about Depp abusing her?
Those were the very same adjectives that came to my mind, smug and arrogant. I fantasize slapping that smirk off her face.
What about JD expressions?
Don't get me wrong, I think both of them are awful, but I'm so sick of this doble standard. When he laughs and makes arrogant expressions everyone praise him.
@@anadolorify the thing is she hasn’t been like that the entire trial, but today we saw her true colors.
amber always has her nose in the air. literally. #justiceforjohnnydepp
As the weeks go by, I become more saddened by this case. I wish these two never found each other. It’s so sad 😭! AH is an abuser!
Depp has violent ideation in his language about her and so many people look right past this. It's not there in reverse.
Im sorry that Depp has managed to live such a terrible miserable life outside of his movies.
@@anadolorify that’s because Amber Heard hasn’t given her phone for evidence. JD has. He has nothing to hide. She sure does
I think it's pretty clear that she targeted Depp in the first place. In a text message Johnny Depp even told one of his friends that he thought so too.
@@anadolorify ok amber bot
@@anadolorify Ideation versus reality -- one of them is suffering and keeping it bottled in, the other is actively seeking to manipulate those around her. There are distinct levels to this
Elaine: you’re getting ur 15 mins of fame
Camille: argumentative
Judge: overruled
TMZ guy: I can say the same for you representing AH
Elaine: well that’s argumentative
😆😆😆
I caught that too!
I Laughed my Butt of at this… boom thank you TMZ guy haha
Lmfao and they couldn’t do shit about it because the judge already overruled it 😂😂 that was gold
It was the the BEST… I couldn’t stop laughing. Brilliant comeback SASSSS 😂
Why did the judge overrule that? It was demeaning and argumentative
I was never a JD fan. Never actually saw a single one of his movies. But I am on JD’s team now after watching this trial. I hope the jury is seeing what we are seeing! #justiceforjohnnydepp
Wellcome, and please watch his movies from beginning his career. You will not dissappointed !
go watch JD in the Neverland movie. wonderful film.
If you wanna cry then go watch Blow... His and Emma Robert's Father/Daughter relationship is probably one of the most memorable performances for me.
@@anastasia10017 That was for me one of the best films ever made. i saw it so many times. I often wondered too if that was more of the real soul and spirit of this man...as he seemed so natural in that part that i do not think any one else could have done it. but then that's what they say about most or all of his parts. I never became a fan or watched or thought i would even like his later movies so can't say more about that. ..but i will never forget that one. it made me even want to ask ...the women who co starred with him...(darn..just forgot her name and i know it) ...if she has any input...what it was like back for her to do that film with him...and if any of the things we heard about his lateness and other things even went on during that and other movies. (just curious). anyway i am glad you mentioned that one.
AH decline in movie roles, failure in love life, social withdrawal are all due to the shit storm she created with her divorce and very public shaming of JD. She brought it all on herself, clearly.
Karma
Well said
Up to the beginning of this trial she hadn't lost any roles, did not suffer reduced wages for her work either.. all of this was confirmed yesterday by witnesses, her employer and an expert witness who is a Hollywood attorney for actors. She has lost multiple friendships, and seems to have now ruined her reputation in Hollywood and future roles as well as with the public. In my opinion she's poison for future role prospects and relationships. I can't even feel for her other than pity. She needs serious mental health attention. And so does Johnny Depp after her!
@@chrishoyt741 she shouldn’t be in society. She needs to be in a mental ward. She traumatized everyone in her path. I feel bad for her daughter
Shes just simply Stone hearted and extremely Stuck up!
My heart broke all over again listening to Johnny's testimony today. His pain was palpable.
One of the most beautiful moments in Johnny's testimony today was about Whitney. She sat under oath and gave a completely different story about the staircase incident, seemingly very damming. It seemed like such a betrayal. Today Johnny stood up for her too, had nothing nasty to say about her and said she was a really sweet person.
It just shows that he is a decent man
Just shows how sweet ,careing he is.justice for johnny
It's a betrayal for Whitney to say what happened?
@@sued616 Justice for Depp might mean reparations to the people he hurts.
Nicely put
Dr Curry stayed true to her ethics of her profession.
JD didn't say "my truth", he said, "the truth" - twice.
Good point!
Explain further please
Simple. Everyone can say my truth, but that only implies your version of the truth. When someone says "the" truth, it usually means the whole truth of everything and not avoiding the unpleasant side of yourself, such as JD admitted to drugs and verbal arguments, but did AH actually admit to drugs herself, not really. Did AH admit to physically and emotionally abusing JD - No, she did not, when in fact she has.
If I’m a jury, JD’s rebuttal was useful. In light of all testimonies/evidence (as far as I can remember) after JD’s first witness testimony, JD’s rebuttal was heard in new light. I teared up man, it resonated with me.
JD’s rebuttal was, in my honest opinion, absolutely necessary. And even if he didn’t score a perfect 100 outta 100, I felt he did very well and my needle moved to JD’s side.
I completely agree, I feel like he put right the wrongs she made up and he’s had to sit and listen too must be soul destroying. I feel like the jury will sympathise with it
I agree. He doesn't speak well when it comes to airing his personal life but he is intelligent and I cried also because I believe him and see no lying in his eyes. I think it's naive to think jurors are not going to rely on their hearts and gut instincts but facts only. They are humans and it's difficult to compartmentalize emotions.
And there was a function of his rebuttal beyond the trial. It was therapeutic for him. He finally got to say what had been, as he said, weighing on him and was (again as he said) a small victory in and of itself for him.
I am a women and hand on heart I did give AH the benefit of the doubt but her behaviour as in staring at JD and smirking so much is not what you would expect from a victim of such alleged, consistent verbal, physical and emotional abuse. Reliving it if it were true would knock the stuffing out of a real victim and staring at or smirking at your abuser would not be typical behaviour by any manner of means. It’s harrowing to think a female would lie about SA especially. If any female or victim has reacted like her then I will stand corrected.
Agreed
As a doctor, it was strong testimony from Dr. Curry. Loss of function a defining characteristic of PTSD.
She drove that home vis a vis ah. People with ptsd withdraw-- we "don't act in movies and throw dinner parties".
TMZ DUDE…..MIC DROP!!
yes I agree tmz is trash
Finally, he answered totally from his heart at the end-and sounded completely honest, and like the broken man he has been, for years. That was his main objective I thought-to give his side and hopefully clear his name.
To his fans he's a hero but I know a lot more of the ugliness in the life and actions of Johnny Depp at the end of this trial than I did at the beginning.
Jack Sparrow is a more clean cut version of Depp.
He's a sad man with substance abuse issues and few actual friends. He's surrounded with servants and sycophants.
I used to like a few of his films. I'm Gen X who grew up with Gilbert Grape and Edward Scissorshands. But now he'll always be the guy who laughed about r*ping his wife's corpse in text messages to Paul Bettany. He's got a sordid existence and he is full of misogyny and rage.
I pity him. But I wouldn't want my daughter to date him. He owes Amber Heard an apology for all that he's put her through but he doesn't have the presence of mind or the conscience to be capable of that.
@@anadolorify No human is free of ugliness. Amber certainly has her fair share to be so young. If they only could have apologized to each other and been done with it this all could have been prevented.
PETE, I am Team Johnny, BUT I appreciate what you're doing with your expertise to put this in perspective for us. You come across as neutral and professional, and that's exactly why I'm here. Thank you!
Johnny looked exhausted and I think the weeks of sitting there had taken their toll on him. He was emotional today - it has to be hard to have your character assassinated for six long years and then sit and listen to the BS for weeks while you literally have to rely on other people to tell your story.
Why did he never insist a lawyer object?
Even with all the legal support, this has also been a huge financial drain with very little chance of recovery. David vs Goliath when you face the entire Woke political machine.
Today the organized' pro-Amber group was at the court house when she arrived. You know it isnt grassroots when they bring megaphones
@@stormyweather8798 ?
If anyone looks PTSD, it's him.
They're all tired & Amber Heard has suffered too..
So when they were reading one of Johnny’s texts talking about AH, she suddenly tried looking like she was upset then looked around and when no one was “petting” her she lost the sad face
Those moments surrounded by contemptuous smirking certainly made the pathetic attempts at sorrow stick out.
Ugh I noticed that too & it really got under my skin.
@@basketballman1854 agree..She is a study. I have to wonder if she is so disconnected from herself she can't know the truth about anything about herself. i watched a video today that just popped up on my you tube feed with a in depth analysis on her plastic surgery on just her face and the amount of it ..which really gave me more insight..Then i knew it was purposeful i watched it. The changes that were made to get her looks so perfect...from around the eyes to the mouth itself and all around the mouth and the cheekbones and even the eyebrows were surgery .and it was done over and over again. ..THAT would make looks and perfection of them so far more important than who you are AND WHAT YOU FEEL AND HOW YOU THINK...and the cost of that. Had to really wonder what that alone would do to your self awareness and self worth. And to wonder about what kind of pain she must BE IN ALL THE TIME to WANT TO PUT VALUE on that more than who and what she is...TO ESCAPE THAT PAIN??? There is so much to wonder about and learn that might actually ...in my own mind...possibly make us better people and then make a better world if we just would take time to pause , reflect, and realize what we truly are , what we hide and run from , and what we give credence and importance to...and i kind of think that from watching this trial that that's the direction more folks are going and that that's even what Johnny was reaching for....even in his pain and loss of much of what he invested in ...in his life...it's my assumption and may not be at all true...but it seems to me he is reaching for that and that is what people are feeling and why they actually are responding to him as they are...There is something there that is bigger that what it appears to be about. and it's mind to mind and soul to soul...and we just feel it w/o totally knowing what it is that draws us in . i think this days witnesses are an example of that too..those people were not normal ...but higher caliber of mind and intention and something that mattered to them more than money....TRUTH..and that C's answer of " i don't even know what getting paid.".was a bigger msg than it first appears to be and why she kept repeating it ...it says something like: .." WHY IS THAT THE QUESTION AT THIS POINT AFTER THAT KIND OF TESTIMONY ."..that question just lost all it's impact that moment..it's was like a balloon that just lost all it's air and dropped to the ground . that's how i saw it. Some testimonies that could have been very good question and was the factor most responsible for that person's testimony...but todays people...were such a different breed (it seemed to me) that that kind of question was just meaningless in their case. ..and couldn't have any impact. And that's to me the difference in witnesses and even in the kind of attorneys he has and she has. Her's can't get out of their traps they are in and think outside of their own norm...they are so self imprisoned, self centered and self absorbed. it's not even about victim and abuser any more...it's about freedom and truth vs the agony and suffering of the cover up and the misplaced values that takes you down and destroys you and you do it to yourself. this is the leap in understanding we have to take to get free ...and i think this is the understanding Johnny has or has begun to embrace and then it's not about what it seems to be ...anything you do..YOur impulse and your intentions and your wins and losses are all based on wholly different criteria that even you are still discovering what they are ..but you just can't stay in the trap any longer. .and only you can get yourself out and only by telling the truth ..to yourself first and then you know what to do next. This is what i see as the underlying basis of everything else that is visible and audible but this is the unseen and unheard basis of it all.
I wonder if the jurors discovering the "incoming" texts on their own during deliberation can have greater impact than calling it out. Imagine them debating and reviewing the trial, possibly even arguing, and then they all discover "incoming" and recall how adamant and honest Depp was - they can instantly turn from juror to savior at that point.
If we can be sure they'll notice that would be the most powerful impact
JD’s legal team has simply got to get this in evidence today. You know Rottenborn, et al knew they were incoming texts.
Or imagine jurors comparing Depp's texts to Paul Bettany and his texts to Stephen Deuters and noticing it's the exact same tone/person. A complete misogynist with higher than average violent ideation and comparing of women to fish.
I think JD "imperfect" testimony supports his I came here to say the truth statement. A stark contrast to AH "I have no flaw" narrative which to me says: "once again, some other idiot will rescue me from the thick mud so that I don't have to ever have accountability".
Dr. Curry as Mera would be a blockbuster hit. Dr. Curry is a rockstar!
heard a massive tell today. When he was testifying, he counted all the people affected by this and the accusations. He included his mother. She had just passed. As someone who lost a parent, that’s huge. He hasn’t grieved her yet. How could he? She started this the day after!! They are both very broken human beings who should’ve never been together. Damages should go to him. No more than $7m for a couple that shouldn’t have happen. It was toxic from the start
I thought the same amount also.
He shouldn't have abused Amber the day after his mother passed.
@@anadolorify what abuse?!
@@anadolorify there was no abuse!!
@@anadolorify he didn’t !!!!
Regarding JD's quips, they certainly showed a bit of cleverness that goes against AH's side trying to portray him as having cognitive decline! And they were amusing.
Good point!
Oh yeah, he's funny. Very smart, very clever. Very cool and very funny. Reading his texts and notes and hearing his quips on the stand...it;s clear he's quick and he's got a high IQ.
And a fan of Monty Python
Johnny is like Trump. An aquired taste. Funny to the people who despise the people he's bitterly mocking.
A headache to those of us who don't hate women.
@@anadolorify Are you kidding me? You imply that anyone who believes JD "hates women." Way to split black and white. borderline much?
I think it was amazing that they called Johnny again to remind the jury that he is in fact not the abuser monster Amber is claiming him to be. I am a DV SV survivor and the way Amber exaggerates and puts on a performance before the world is honestly sickening anyone who is a survivor knows there is actual emotion attributed to our recount of our story none in which I saw in Amber it was extremely disingenuous.
Same. She gave herself away with words and behaviors the entire trial. She has done severe damage to the community of survivors/overcomers and all future court cases worldwide. She needs to be held accountable for all she has done.
I'm a DV survivor and Depp is the person with violent ideation and staggering misogyny dripping from his texts, a sense of entitlement, and multiple substance abuse issues that have wrecked his life independent of Amber Heard. She left him because he abused her and this is his revenge.
@@chrishoyt741 I'm in the community of survivors and she has my respect for enduring all of this in front of the whole world. How many could do the same?
She is making faces on purpose bc she's thinking 'people are watching me and I can't speak so I'll show with my face how ridiculous or false this all is.' She also always looks around and behind her. Fits with Curry's diagnosis. She cares what people think too much. To be fair though, everyone at this trial makes faces.
@@anadolorify but she's lying.
I like how you really review it. Not just say what audience wants to hear !!
I think it is Johnny who has had ptsd from their relationship and shows definite signs of decline mentally, emotionally and physically.
He gets the PTSD thousand-yard stare
So true, I was a mess during and after the abuse I took from a narc.
*The Lawyer You Know,* much respect. Even in spots where you disagreed with others (Myself included. Josh Drew...), you've given us objectives reasons as to why, & you're very informative. So, thanks bruh.
That's a very young jury. They will all be aware that Molly is used to refer to certain drugs.
When I was watching that part about the text & they mentioned who’s “Molly” I assumed that. That it possibly referred to Molly the drugs
Amber was writing the questions for her lawyers through the whole trial,on post-it notes, seems they were even less prepared than we all thought.!!!!
I find her guilty! I've watched this from the beginning. I'm no fan of either.
I agree. I find it ridiculous that you have to be a fan to have this opinion. Im not a fan at all just here following another case as I’ve followed many. From the evidence I have seen presented in court I find her liable for defamation.
Well, liable for damages due to defamation in any case (no pun intended :P). You don't find guilt in a civil case, but I get what you mean.
Heard's lawyer didn't "forget" his question. If I remember correctly, he realized that he slipped and opened the door to testimony that he didn't want in, so he wanted to "forget" it. That is why question was read back from transcript . . .
The umbrella guy showed an old 1994 magazine article those so called texts came from verbatim...he's posted it so I hope the lawyers pick up on it
Really appreciate how unbiased your interpretation is…..very helpful and reality based. 👍🏼
The best part about JD getting up again was the emotion he expressed about having to be effectively gagged for six years. He also said something to the effect of, 'I know this is a long time, it's a long time for 'everybody'', kind of showing empathy for those testifying for him, and the jury and supporters. Then, when he said, it doesnt matter what happens after this, he got to say what happened to him & that's what he really wanted.
I agree about the rest, it was unnecessary, as it's back to, 'Who do we believe'.
I agree that they should never have called Johnny back on the witness stand.
Also from what I understand, the U.K. trial was extremely unfair toward Johnny for at least two significant reasons: 1) Amber’s perceived “donations” to charity, which were debunked in this trial but not in the U.K. trial, led that judge to believe that Amber was altruistic, of upstanding moral character and couldn’t possibly be labeled a “gold-digger,” and 2) 12/14 of her alleged assault stories were taken as absolute truth.
There was also no jury in the UK trial....just a judge. UK defamation laws are different then here.
At the beginning of the trial, Depp had my complete support. However, after watching the trial, my sympathy has been eroded. On some level, they both deserve each other. Both of them get off on each other, so its a toxic co-dependent relationship. In terms of AH being a Gold Digger, if she was one she would have treated Elon Musk with more seriousness. Like many Hollywood relationships, it was a strategic move on her side, Depp wouldn't have been with her if she wasn't a beautiful woman either, so it was a mutually gratifyingly relationship at first. Then their unresolved conflicts collided with each other.
Apparently the judge in the U.K. is also the lawyer for the Sun newspaper. According to testimony yesterday or today if I heard correctly.
Also, the judge insisted the audio tapes were irrelevant, because they weren't under oath. Which is a truly wild reason to discount a ton of evidence.
@@caecandy I may have said this already but apparently the lawyer for the sun newspaper was part of the AH team or the QC? Judge? Or something significant like that. Camille asked JD why he thought he didn’t get a fair hearing in U.K. and that’s what came out. My apologies that I can’t remember accurately but it definitely explained the bias. Disgraceful.
DUI guy said Johnny was def resting the room - the jury was with him on Rottenborn.
DUI guy alleged saboteur from law & crime
All the body language experts have put their careers on the line to say Amber is a liar and Johnny is telling the truth. It's actually amazing.
I agree. I've been watching The Body Language Panel. All 4 of them have said in their opinion, Amber has a lot of deception in what she is saying. where Johnny is being truthful. It is Amazing to watch them analyze both of them.
Not really. It is very obvious, that she is being deceptive. How much of it is a lie is another question. But I don't think any person can watch AH's "hysteric" testimony and think it's genuine.
None of that is admissible in court. We also can't bring in astrology charts or people who read palms into court.
The Ecstasy amount was another Amber smear statement.
On a tangent this case has kept JD sober for a significant period, hopefully he will maintain sobriety and a better quality of life. Go team Johnny!
AH has a history of adopting other people's stories as her own. JD had a scene in a 1998 film, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" where he swings a phone receiver from a wall phone at a female character
Correct! And now she has another one , people are saying they’re going to put my baby in the microwave !
How did Elaine not seek her 15 minutes ? Exactly ! Glad they made that point.
I totally agree I don't think Johnny acquitted himself as well today as he did in his first appearance in the witness box. But I am still Team Johnny! I believe him
I disagree about Johnny's testimony. I felt his explanation regarding Whitney and his comments on Amber being insane, rang so true, it was worth while even if things could have gone better.
He had some losses but I agree he had some wins too.
I agree!
AH and get lawyers faces while he stole those words were priceless. So telling, seemed to be an introspective moment for them. Well, maybe for the attorneys at least.
Thank you for doing this, appreciate your perspective.
Wow I’m so excited for you that is awesome 👏 CONGRATULATIONS
She didn't say the crap she said"He sexually abused her after that trial" I'm pretty sure thats when he told her that was it he was done with her. There is verbal recordings she did that you hear him ask her" Amber do you really want to do this" meaning going to court and expressing this to her. Also she illegally recorded him.
The UK didn't let Johnny tell his abuse he received from Amber that he had DV against him from Amber
In my opinion, AH wrote that text using the term "Molly" as a set up for how it works look for JD later. JD seemed certain he didn't write it. I hope it's looked at again at closing.
The text was an incoming text,. Not out going ...
So if JD wrote would be outgoing x
This guy is great. Thanks for taking the time to break it down.
My heart sank during JD cross exam. Really helps to hear your analysis x
Is it weird how we’re all like.. gasp! This one misstep from Johnny can cost the whole thing.. when AH has done nothing but lie and BS 😩 it feels soo weird
It’s because Johnny has the burden of proof in the case. Amber isn’t going to win her counterclaim. I can honestly say that with 99% certainty. But we have no way of knowing how the jury is seeing it
What misstep?
Yes but, no matter the misstep from Johnny, AH is always worse. Did you see her obnoxious smirking? Did she forget she was supposed to have PTSD? As a juror that would be overwhelmingly more damaging.
Let's wait for closing statement. JD team can leave some time to come back o Heards closing statement which has to be done in one session, or so I believe.
I know :(
I completely disagree on Johnny's testimony and I think you are missing out on understanding the value of it. Johnny got up to refute Amber and show she is a huge liar. I think that it was good for the jury to know that she twisted a nice story about him and Kate Moss into a sordid lie to make him look bad. We also heard Johnny say that he got Amber the Aquaman gig before, now he got to expand on that. Shows he DID support her career and work, and refutes Amber's claims about him on this. I also think it was good to know he DOES donate to charity and that his former manager stole from him. Important things for the jury to know. I think he came off as sympathetic though I agree he was not as solid on cross as before. Overall more helpful than not, imo.
Depp obviously sent the texts to Stephen Deuters. They sound exactly like his texts to Paul Bettany so he was lying about that unconvincingly.
that molly statement was an incoming message
I agree with your assessment of Johnny’s testimony today.
As someone who has used MDMA, 8-10 pills in one pop is not realistic. It is also a drug that the FDA is looking to approve to help treat PTSD and other trauma...it's considered a love drug for a reason. It is something that is usually one pill that may be topped up with another to extend the experience in a given night. It's also something that one shouldn't do often as it depletes serotonin, resulting in a serious comedown for anyone who may already be suffering from depression. People may take it 2-3 days in a row for a weekend festival or something but again, that still wouldn't total 8-10 pills even over a long weekend. So it is very weird that Amber would use that as the drug that makes him violent. As for bringing up Kate Moss, it is to explain how Amber even got the story in the first place as there is nothing in the news about even falling down stairs. TUG even mentioned that he looked it up and the first time any of this comes up in searches was basically from Amber's claims. Both are basically to demonstrate how she takes something that is partly based on facts and exaggerates it, similar to all the 'destruction' in the trailer only to find out it was one light that costs $62. I personally think Depp needed to clear up things that connect the dots like Whitney (considering Howell's testimony makes no sense without context), his ex-accountant and lawyer (saying that they settled implies that they did embezzle from him - people AH used for her defense).
They tried to ask more questions of Kate like why she's coming out to testify now but it got objected so my guess is that her testimony was limited to the stair incident. But AH team played dirty, some of those "quotes" that they brought up were either not from Depp and/or from an article from the 90s when he was in his 20s-30s. They are really fishing and pulling things from 3 decades ago. Even the text messages were from 2017...nothing to do with Amber. He also got in that he wanted a divorce after his mom died and he told her on 5/16, which triggered her to do everything else after that. Plus that she knew he was out of town when she filed TRO on his daughter's birthday. Johnny wouldn't necessarily pick up on "molly" if he didn't send it and if he doesn't do molly often to even think that is what "molly" refers to. Why don't they bring up that AH didn't give up all her texts and things like Johnny did?
I totally respect your outlook and opinion on what went on today with johnny... I'm not a lawyer or well versed in the legal aspect and it's ALWAYS great to hear from other people how they see things and why they feel that way! Keep doing your thing brother and looking forward to jack Sparrow dress up! Hopefully you're children have a blast with it as well!

The way JD talks, with regards to drugs, MOLLY IS A NICKNAME FOR MDMA....n ill bet thats what he was referring to
Yes, Molly is slang for ecstasy, MDMA. In Florida it was also referred to as Beans.
I literally watched AH team at the end of the day on the 24th to argue allowing in certain evidence the lawyer had a very small stack of papers that he wanted to admit to evidence after JD lawyers said no objections to the item's he listed, he clearly laid the papers down and picked up more documents from the stack, clipped them & put them quickly & nervously into his brown folder, he was clearly red faced & nervous while asking to admit them, when he said thats all the judge was surprised & commented on how short it was just prior to sneaking to pick up more documents after, you can clearly watch it after Depps team rests 30min early on Tuesday. Then today he was sitting next to AH & was clearly acting nervous when RottenBorn crossed JD. I know w/o a doubt this guy added stuff he didn't argue to admit!!! Then they didn't have hard copy of the documents for JD team, Rottenborn started reading claiming he would send it to them via computer he was already reading it before the ever had it, & then had it redacted. I really hope JD team can correct this problem w/ the judge. I also hope they read all juror instructions and whatever else, as they aren't below anything dirty to win.
You stood out so much from the LegalBytes with regards to how knowledgeable you are about the law. Also you weren't willing to be insulting as some of the others were. Dr. Curry also said 300k would be too much.
And, we totally appreciate your integrity. You definitely should have pointed out every single point out. Thank you! You know your profession, brilliantly.💪🏿
They had JD talk about helping AH get the movie role to show she “lied” about him not wanting her to get roles and they brought up how many ecstasy pills to show she “lied” about that. They asked JD about Stairs b/c he told Amber the real story to show she lied about thinking Kate was pushed by JD. Love your recaps though!
Johnny has to make a rebuttal to Amber's wild accusations on the stand. How can he not testify again? There are questions on the jury's minds because of Amber's testimony, and Johnny has to defend himself and clarify things. He's been carrying the load inside for 6 yrs, as he said, and this is the only time he's able to speak up the truth. Let's give him that chance because this is his only chance where everybody listens because it's happening in the court and not on social media. Johnny deserves to speak and let it all out. I don't think his rebuttal is a minus for JD's team. If he needs to defend himself, again and again, let's give it to him. Lastly, I believe he did well today.
♥️♥️♥️♥️😭😭😭 his closing statement made me cry.
I completely agree with you, imagine sitting there for the past 6 weeks and have all these lies and disgusting lies at that said how could he not respond to that I think he did well. I feel like most forgot he has adhd which affects his speech when nervous ect
So AH can only rebuttal the rebuttal? 😄
Love your content! I’ll be following any other cases you decide to cover from here on out.
Love these videos excellent analyses. So appreciated. 🙏🙏🤩
I agree Johnny was not that strong today, he was good on some points but others not at all. But he gained big points when he discussed how he gives to Charity etc. That made me feel for him big time and I even teared up.
But if I am juror I would be happy to see him testify.
But his ability to admit his actions says alot about him vs turd
Watching at 1:40 AM in Indiana...thanks for doing these and I watch you every night! You're without a doubt very knowledgeable and most likely an awesome attorney as you're always right on the money in my opinion. We just spent a week in Orlando at the Hyatt on International and was obsessed with listening to this trial. What do we do when it ends? Going to be as bad as Yellowstone!
I like how you’re not so biased. Great change of pace. Very refreshing. Thanks for your objective take!
To me, assuming Amber is in fact lying, which I think she is, his angry vulgar texts are exactly what someone in his position would say, as if no one says mean, over-the-top things when they’re severely wronged, and text messages in that context, to me, are not indicative of being a cruel or aggressive or violent or abusive person
Completely agree, and I think the jury have seen enough of Amber to get an idea of HOW awful she was, and get to that conclusion themselves. After all, they were never to HER. We've all said some really over exaggerated, nasty things to our friends after a bad break up. It's human behaviour, not abuser behaviour x
I'm team JD, but if any man said those things about me to other people or called me what he was calling women, I'd have to reconsider with whom I am dealing. I agree AH is a chaos inducing malignant narcissist, but some of the vile stuff JD said gives one reason to pause.
@@anastasia10017 if I treated any man like she treated JD I'd expect a bullet tbh
@@anastasia10017 if he sent them to her maybe but he didn’t. He was venting his anger. I wonder what HER texts say! We don’t know because she refused to hand over her phone
Agreed. It’s venting to a friend
My impression of “MOLLY” is DRUGS! It’s a slang word, I believe for one of them (I think 🙈)
I watch you in TV here in Kentucky. I love your program and how awesome you do a breakdown of the trial. Sending love to you and your love ones Always. Gb
Thanks for the live
I think the legal crowd thought Johnny was a worse witness today than lay people... his testimony about Whitney was essential, after Jennifer Howell's clipped depo yesterday, and a few other things - his charity work, for example. But I WISH we knew what Whitney was doing during that... Yes, some things were regrettable, but overall I don't think it was as bad as the lawyers did - maybe because he did come across as sympathetic and a genuinely abused person.
I agree! They are viewing it very differently than the rest of us. I think it showed how authentic he is. It made a lot of people (including men) tear up because they could relate with him.
I think as far as Kate moss went they wouldn’t allow the rest of it in and that’s why it was so short. And as far as the MDMA pills, I believe Johnny was speaking on that because she originally said he took eight or nine at one time, instead of on separate occasions
The texts were incoming. Plus he said they weren’t written in his vernacular.
I absolutely agree with everything you said...these are the exact things I thought watching the trial and when I commented on Johnny not being good on the stand and everybody jumped on me
Peter, I absolutely love your channel and your podcasts! Your info and education is amazing! I have to say though, I have to tune in later rather than live. I find it hard that you are so focused on reading chats and texts on ur phone. You seem so distracted rather than getting the info out in a streamlined way. I’m sorry, I just need the ability to skip through the pauses. The super chats will still be there after the 30 min breakdown
Wow -- Now I understand. Everyone was wondering about the unusual demographic makeup of the journey -- young. predominantly male, and Asian. Now it's clear that it was genius on Depp's lawyers part. A young male Asian jury is far more likely to understand the evidence of social media data analysis, software manipulation, data collection, metadata etc, than some of us older folks. Those of us not born with iPhones in our brains might not have been able to follow the discussion. Whoever chose the jury was a genius! They KNEW this trial would not only come down to whether Depp or Heard was believable, but also the issue of the photo evidence and how to tell whether it was genuine. The analyst Neumeister (sp?) was a slam dunk and Depp himself had the mic drop moment in his direct exam. Fascinating!
I like your observation. Now it makes sense to me too. thank you #telltheworldjohnny
Yes. Elaine, aka Peppermint Patty, was squirming in her seat today! 😂
Yes I finally get it now! That's a brilliant observation!!
Uhmmm,Asian here and my brain isn't like some computer, lolololololol.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw Law and Lumber's diagram & description of the jury. You just gave me a light bulb moment
She was snickering and laughing just yesterday in court we all witnessed it when Johnny Depp was on the stand
I thought Depp's rebuttal case gave him the winning streak in this case & cross examination of Heard with Super Lawyer Camille hit Depp's case out of the park!!!
I don't think Johnny needed to testify either. But him saying the bottle smashed his finger is no big deal, the bottle Amber threw smashed his finger open and clipped off the tip of his finger. It's the a disgusting thing that she did. Doesn't matter which words he uses, it's still horrific. The other case was against the Sun not Amber, the jury heard that. They should be intelligent enough to figure out they're different trials with different laws in different countries. You think they're so stupid that they don't think that ?
Yeah think you were a bit nit picky about JD description of injury by bottle.
Not likely that happened thst way. He was probably just fumbling around picking up the.glass
and cut himself on the glass.
Yes.
@@stormyweather8798 🤣😂🤣😂 I've been Amber-botted 🤣😂🤣 so funny
It was a great cross for sure ... And Depp's errors with recollection of details was hardly a moment that any juror would care about. People also picked up super fast that the texts were false and incoming etc ....jurors would have seen or figured that out too.
. Really appreciated how much you cover...and that you even took time to analyze reactions to calling Ben "snarky "...lol (i actually loved it and loved how he responded) ...( i thought it was brilliant of her and that she used it to DIFFUSE A's attorneys attack mode or intensity of reactions/emotions that i felt were in that room at that point ..and then it all just dissipated ...So i thought it was a good move on her part even if not normally the 'right' thing to do. ..Also LOVED your assessment of Johnny's statements about his experience of telling the truth finally about this relationship and how long he waited to do that. That was well done and to me made it a win ..in that moment and most of today...and the outcome in the verdict will add to that or not but no one can take away that moment and....what that MIGHT have meant to Johnnie if my own experience in life of that can compare. Some things just go beyond any material gain or other people's acceptance or rejection of you...and one of these ..is speaking your truth so nakedly and so w/o concern for outcome...ONLY TO FINALLY RELIEVE YOUR VERY SOUL of the suppression of it for so long. THAT to me is what no one can even put a value on materially or know what that does until have done it themself....it can mean the weight of what is like lifetimes (in one life) of the finish of a cycle of needless suffering...and can open doors to a world beyond your comprehension ...but within you and invisible to the world but so apparent to your own consciousness.
YES...you're going on a local news channel...i was thinking that something like that would occur....and hoping it would ...and THAT was fast!! Now your numbers will go way way way up when more folks see /hear you ....and i am excited about the further future and present... repercussions of that to our reality...because i think you are an impetus of change for the better. ...that it is time for....!!!
Does the judge seem partial to AH and her attorney's? If anyone is snarky, it's Elaine.
Elaine is certainly snarky, but I don't think the TMZ lawyer could even remotely be considered part of Johnny's side.
I really don't think so. I think she's really taken a back seat and letting the lawyers get in or get out what they want, leaving as much open to the jury as possible. Especially the way she spoke to Elaine during the lunch break meeting about getting TMZ in. Her little quip at the TMZ lawyer had Me cackling 😂
I agree with you that it was a mistake to let JD take the stand again. He had one strong moment about having spoken up no matter how the trial ends, but the rest was a big net negative.
I have NEVER witnessed a Judge not control a Courtroom, allow poor Etiquette, allow overly aggressive, bully behavior.
Thank you for making it easy for me to understand.
I feel the text msg they showed was irrelevant, a text msg doesnt mean you abused anyone…and why are they all Johnny’s msgs, and none from ambers phone??? Why is that?? He aaid he didnt know who molly was, and he didnt send the text…she set the whole thing up from the get go.
Something else I’ve seen others comment…the (molly)text said INCOMING instead of OUTGOING…..so who exactly sent it🤔
@@kayyh.4073 I thought I was the only one who noticed this. I was disappointed no one pointed this out. It was clear that was a message sent TO JD and not BY JD
Heard's team was sanctioned for not producing her texts/phones. Is the jury allowed to know this?
The Text message was incoming... Not out going......
I get it- I literally turned it off bc I thought - don’t lose the case for yourself today, didn’t want to see him do that...
- But there are many who attnys reading the room and jurors actually think JD helped himself today.
Jury will decide
Can you tell me which channels you saw describing the jurors reaction today?

Ya he should not have been called you are correct !
You are one of my absolute favorites!!
As for the phone…it was still on the wall…not smashed to smithereens!
When questioned on the texts, Johnny seemed genuinely confused on the stand, so I was inclined to believe his testimony. He's admitted to a bunch of really damning texts already, so to me it makes no sense to suddenly lie about this one.
Haven’t looked into it for myself , but it seems Twitter went nuts saying those were actually incoming to depp and not from him
They were incoming texts nit outgoing which I think AH legal team knew and reprehensible and unethical ti attribute to JD.
EXCELLENT DISECTION OF TODAY"S TRIAL 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👌👌👌👌👌
I AGREE with ur entire assessment of Wednesday trial!
Amber did not have PTSD. Please….
how come i watch all these lawyers on youtube and none have made a connection to the text JD claimed wasn't his and all the pictures that AH has of him sleeping couldn't she have snatched his phone in any instance?
Those texts that Johnny said were not his were incoming not outgoing texts. Johnny did not make them.
Snatched his phone and sent a text that sounds exactly like Johnny Depp? Come on.
Those texts were a quote from a 90's tabloid. JD did not send those texts.
@@2Timothy2.15 but they match his texts to Paul Bettany. Same Johnny Depp high on misogyny and comparing women to fish style.
I agree. There is nothing that Amber Heard wouldn’t do to win this case.
Several people asked if the judge told Johnny not to break anything on the way out. Just before they left the court, there was a crash sound in the background and that was her response.
Sorry missed live, was sleeping, late but here on replay. Thank you so much🚚🚚🚚
