Up to the beginning of this trial she hadn't lost any roles, did not suffer reduced wages for her work either.. all of this was confirmed yesterday by witnesses, her employer and an expert witness who is a Hollywood attorney for actors. She has lost multiple friendships, and seems to have now ruined her reputation in Hollywood and future roles as well as with the public. Simple. Everyone can say my truth, but that only implies your version of the truth. Did AH admit to physically and emotionally abusing JD - No, she did not, when in fact she has.

I am a women and hand on heart I did give AH the benefit of the doubt but her behaviour as in staring at JD and smirking so much is not what you would expect from a victim of such alleged, consistent verbal, physical and emotional abuse. Reliving it if it were true would knock the stuffing out of a real victim and staring at or smirking at your abuser would not be typical behaviour by any manner of means. It’s harrowing to think a female would lie about SA especially. If any female or victim has reacted like her then I will stand corrected.

To his fans he's a hero but I know a lot more of the ugliness in the life and actions of Johnny Depp at the end of this trial than I did at the beginning.
Jack Sparrow is a more clean cut version of Depp.
He's a sad man with substance abuse issues and few actual friends. He's surrounded with servants and sycophants.
I used to like a few of his films. I'm Gen X who grew up with Gilbert Grape and Edward Scissorshands. But now he'll always be the guy who laughed about r*ping his wife's corpse in text messages to Paul Bettany. He's got a sordid existence and he is full of misogyny and rage.
I pity him. But I wouldn't want my daughter to date him. He owes Amber Heard an apology for all that he's put her through but he doesn't have the presence of mind or the conscience to be capable of that.

@@basketballman1854 agree..She is a study. I have to wonder if she is so disconnected from herself she can't know the truth about anything about herself. i watched a video today that just popped up on my you tube feed with a in depth analysis on her plastic surgery on just her face and the amount of it ..which really gave me more insight..Then i knew it was purposeful i watched it. The changes that were made to get her looks so perfect...from around the eyes to the mouth itself and all around the mouth and the cheekbones and even the eyebrows were surgery .and it was done over and over again. ..THAT would make looks and perfection of them so far more important than who you are AND WHAT YOU FEEL AND HOW YOU THINK...and the cost of that. Had to really wonder what that alone would do to your self awareness and self worth. And to wonder about what kind of pain she must BE IN ALL THE TIME to WANT TO PUT VALUE on that more than who and what she is...TO ESCAPE THAT PAIN??? There is so much to wonder about and learn that might actually ...in my own mind...possibly make us better people and then make a better world if we just would take time to pause , reflect, and realize what we truly are , what we hide and run from , and what we give credence and importance to...and i kind of think that from watching this trial that that's the direction more folks are going and that that's even what Johnny was reaching for....even in his pain and loss of much of what he invested in ...in his life...it's my assumption and may not be at all true...but it seems to me he is reaching for that and that is what people are feeling and why they actually are responding to him as they are...There is something there that is bigger that what it appears to be about. and it's mind to mind and soul to soul...and we just feel it w/o totally knowing what it is that draws us in . i think this days witnesses are an example of that too..those people were not normal ...but higher caliber of mind and intention and something that mattered to them more than money....TRUTH..and that C's answer of " i don't even know what getting paid.".was a bigger msg than it first appears to be and why she kept repeating it ...it says something like: .." WHY IS THAT THE QUESTION AT THIS POINT AFTER THAT KIND OF TESTIMONY ."..that question just lost all it's impact that moment..it's was like a balloon that just lost all it's air and dropped to the ground . that's how i saw it. Some testimonies that could have been very good question and was the factor most responsible for that person's testimony...but todays people...were such a different breed (it seemed to me) that that kind of question was just meaningless in their case. ..and couldn't have any impact. And that's to me the difference in witnesses and even in the kind of attorneys he has and she has. Her's can't get out of their traps they are in and think outside of their own norm...they are so self imprisoned, self centered and self absorbed. it's not even about victim and abuser any more...it's about freedom and truth vs the agony and suffering of the cover up and the misplaced values that takes you down and destroys you and you do it to yourself. this is the leap in understanding we have to take to get free ...and i think this is the understanding Johnny has or has begun to embrace and then it's not about what it seems to be ...anything you do..YOur impulse and your intentions and your wins and losses are all based on wholly different criteria that even you are still discovering what they are ..but you just can't stay in the trap any longer. .and only you can get yourself out and only by telling the truth ..to yourself first and then you know what to do next. This is what i see as the underlying basis of everything else that is visible and audible but this is the unseen and unheard basis of it all.

The best part about JD getting up again was the emotion he expressed about having to be effectively gagged for six years. He also said something to the effect of, 'I know this is a long time, it's a long time for 'everybody'', kind of showing empathy for those testifying for him, and the jury and supporters. Then, when he said, it doesnt matter what happens after this, he got to say what happened to him & that's what he really wanted.
I agree about the rest, it was unnecessary, as it's back to, 'Who do we believe'.

Also from what I understand, the U.K. trial was extremely unfair toward Johnny for at least two significant reasons: 1) Amber’s perceived “donations” to charity, which were debunked in this trial but not in the U.K. trial, led that judge to believe that Amber was altruistic, of upstanding moral character and couldn’t possibly be labeled a “gold-digger,” and 2) 12/14 of her alleged assault stories were taken as absolute truth.

At the beginning of the trial, Depp had my complete support. However, after watching the trial, my sympathy has been eroded. On some level, they both deserve each other. Both of them get off on each other, so its a toxic co-dependent relationship. In terms of AH being a Gold Digger, if she was one she would have treated Elon Musk with more seriousness. Like many Hollywood relationships, it was a strategic move on her side, Depp wouldn't have been with her if she wasn't a beautiful woman either, so it was a mutually gratifyingly relationship at first. Then their unresolved conflicts collided with each other.

I completely disagree on Johnny's testimony and I think you are missing out on understanding the value of it. Johnny got up to refute Amber and show she is a huge liar. I think that it was good for the jury to know that she twisted a nice story about him and Kate Moss into a sordid lie to make him look bad. We also heard Johnny say that he got Amber the Aquaman gig before, now he got to expand on that. Shows he DID support her career and work, and refutes Amber's claims about him on this. I also think it was good to know he DOES donate to charity and that his former manager stole from him. Important things for the jury to know. I think he came off as sympathetic though I agree he was not as solid on cross as before. Overall more helpful than not, imo.

As someone who has used MDMA, 8-10 pills in one pop is not realistic. It is also a drug that the FDA is looking to approve to help treat PTSD and other trauma...it's considered a love drug for a reason. It is something that is usually one pill that may be topped up with another to extend the experience in a given night. It's also something that one shouldn't do often as it depletes serotonin, resulting in a serious comedown for anyone who may already be suffering from depression. People may take it 2-3 days in a row for a weekend festival or something but again, that still wouldn't total 8-10 pills even over a long weekend. So it is very weird that Amber would use that as the drug that makes him violent. As for bringing up Kate Moss, it is to explain how Amber even got the story in the first place as there is nothing in the news about even falling down stairs. TUG even mentioned that he looked it up and the first time any of this comes up in searches was basically from Amber's claims. Both are basically to demonstrate how she takes something that is partly based on facts and exaggerates it, similar to all the 'destruction' in the trailer only to find out it was one light that costs $62. I personally think Depp needed to clear up things that connect the dots like Whitney (considering Howell's testimony makes no sense without context), his ex-accountant and lawyer (saying that they settled implies that they did embezzle from him - people AH used for her defense).
They tried to ask more questions of Kate like why she's coming out to testify now but it got objected so my guess is that her testimony was limited to the stair incident. But AH team played dirty, some of those "quotes" that they brought up were either not from Depp and/or from an article from the 90s when he was in his 20s-30s. They are really fishing and pulling things from 3 decades ago. Even the text messages were from 2017...nothing to do with Amber. He also got in that he wanted a divorce after his mom died and he told her on 5/16, which triggered her to do everything else after that. Plus that she knew he was out of town when she filed TRO on his daughter's birthday. Johnny wouldn't necessarily pick up on "molly" if he didn't send it and if he doesn't do molly often to even think that is what "molly" refers to. Why don't they bring up that AH didn't give up all her texts and things like Johnny did?

I literally watched AH team at the end of the day on the 24th to argue allowing in certain evidence the lawyer had a very small stack of papers that he wanted to admit to evidence after JD lawyers said no objections to the item's he listed, he clearly laid the papers down and picked up more documents from the stack, clipped them & put them quickly & nervously into his brown folder, he was clearly red faced & nervous while asking to admit them, when he said thats all the judge was surprised & commented on how short it was just prior to sneaking to pick up more documents after, you can clearly watch it after Depps team rests 30min early on Tuesday. Then today he was sitting next to AH & was clearly acting nervous when RottenBorn crossed JD. I know w/o a doubt this guy added stuff he didn't argue to admit!!! Then they didn't have hard copy of the documents for JD team, Rottenborn started reading claiming he would send it to them via computer he was already reading it before the ever had it, & then had it redacted. I really hope JD team can correct this problem w/ the judge. I also hope they read all juror instructions and whatever else, as they aren't below anything dirty to win.

Johnny has to make a rebuttal to Amber's wild accusations on the stand. How can he not testify again? There are questions on the jury's minds because of Amber's testimony, and Johnny has to defend himself and clarify things. He's been carrying the load inside for 6 yrs, as he said, and this is the only time he's able to speak up the truth. Let's give him that chance because this is his only chance where everybody listens because it's happening in the court and not on social media. Johnny deserves to speak and let it all out. I don't think his rebuttal is a minus for JD's team. If he needs to defend himself, again and again, let's give it to him. Lastly, I believe he did well today.

I think the legal crowd thought Johnny was a worse witness today than lay people... his testimony about Whitney was essential, after Jennifer Howell's clipped depo yesterday, and a few other things - his charity work, for example. But I WISH we knew what Whitney was doing during that... Wow -- Now I understand. Everyone was wondering about the unusual demographic makeup of the journey -- young. predominantly male, and Asian. Now it's clear that it was genius on Depp's lawyers part. A young male Asian jury is far more likely to understand the evidence of social media data analysis, software manipulation, data collection, metadata etc, than some of us older folks. Those of us not born with iPhones in our brains might not have been able to follow the discussion. Whoever chose the jury was a genius! They KNEW this trial would not only come down to whether Depp or Heard was believable, but also the issue of the photo evidence and how to tell whether it was genuine. The analyst Neumeister (sp?) was a slam dunk and Depp himself had the mic drop moment in his direct exam. Fascinating!

I don't think Johnny needed to testify either. But him saying the bottle smashed his finger is no big deal, the bottle Amber threw smashed his finger open and clipped off the tip of his finger. It's the a disgusting thing that she did. Doesn't matter which words he uses, it's still horrific. The other case was against the Sun not Amber, the jury heard that. They should be intelligent enough to figure out they're different trials with different laws in different countries. You think they're so stupid that they don't think that ?

It was a great cross for sure ... And Depp's errors with recollection of details was hardly a moment that any juror would care about. People also picked up super fast that the texts were false and incoming etc ....jurors would have seen or figured that out too.

. Really appreciated how much you cover...and that you even took time to analyze reactions to calling Ben "snarky "...lol (i actually loved it and loved how he responded) ...( i thought it was brilliant of her and that she used it to DIFFUSE A's attorneys attack mode or intensity of reactions/emotions that i felt were in that room at that point ..and then it all just dissipated ...So i thought it was a good move on her part even if not normally the 'right' thing to do. ..Also LOVED your assessment of Johnny's statements about his experience of telling the truth finally about this relationship and how long he waited to do that. That was well done and to me made it a win ..in that moment and most of today...and the outcome in the verdict will add to that or not but no one can take away that moment and....what that MIGHT have meant to Johnnie if my own experience in life of that can compare. Some things just go beyond any material gain or other people's acceptance or rejection of you...and one of these ..is speaking your truth so nakedly and so w/o concern for outcome...ONLY TO FINALLY RELIEVE YOUR VERY SOUL of the suppression of it for so long. THAT to me is what no one can even put a value on materially or know what that does until have done it themself....it can mean the weight of what is like lifetimes (in one life) of the finish of a cycle of needless suffering...and can open doors to a world beyond your comprehension ...but within you and invisible to the world but so apparent to your own consciousness.

I really don't think so. I think she's really taken a back seat and letting the lawyers get in or get out what they want, leaving as much open to the jury as possible. Especially the way she spoke to Elaine during the lunch break meeting about getting TMZ in. Her little quip at the TMZ lawyer had Me cackling 😂
