whats up Chris . after the update MSFS C172 G1000 bearing pointer that moves when heading is changed {points to the magenta line} on the MFD moving map is not there. is there a function button to bring it back?
This is not something I've seen. The stock 172 should have taken the new default NXi now. Does it look like the G1000 NXi or the older stock G1000? You may have a conflicting mod too. Try removing everything from the community folder (dont delete, just move it to another directory or just rename your current community folder) and see if that clears it. Hope that helps!
The native res is 4k - there just 55" TCL 4k tvs around (I think ) $300 from best buy. Awhile back I tried xplane 11 and did some testing between the 2k and 4k resolution. It was a bit sharper looking of an image and didn't perform too bad but I wanted some performance overhead incase of flying through really demanding areas. In a future video ill bench test 1080p, 2k and 4k for performance and image quality in and see how it all stacks up!
This is because I was at my main desk with a boom mic where the main display is mirrored to. It was easier to record that segment while scrolling through the settings vs sitting in the simulator. Although I guess I could have used the same lav mic for it.
@@av8rchris I'm running a GTX 1060 with 6 GB VRAM (overclocked) with 1080p on single monitor. I'm afraid before even thinking about 3 monitors I have to buy a new graphics card ;-(
@@michaelw.9013 I'd recommend something like a 2080 for a triple monitor setup. Im hearing rumors the 4000 nvidia series will be coming soon - then the 3000 should come down even more in price I'd assume!
Definitely a huge upgrade over single monitor! No idea why it took so long. Probably the same reason it wasn't released with even VR support. Took about 9 months of being released before getting VR support.
The latest update to the beta from yesterday brought me some improved performance in DX12 also. Hoping the final cut is just as stable as what's currently running!
@@av8rchris it appears that there is performance just lying on the table that they're not using. Often a gpu snd cpu wont be st max capacity while the game runs.
Not sure - Im not familiar with the latest xbox's. Do they have multi-hdmi out ports now? If so it would be up to the devs I guess to code it in at that point.
I use the Brunner CLS-E MK II and it's incredible. For me it was worth the price of admission. Each individual aircraft can feel different now from traditional spring based yokes. It can simulate hydraulic systems, ect. Switching from flying an airliner or biz jet feels entirely different than the C172.
@@av8rchris How well does it work in MSFS? I looked into the Brunner yokes when MSFS first came out, but it sounded like there were some difficulties. Also there weren't many force feedback profiles available for MSFS aircraft. Has that situation improved?
There are a few profiles now but I've customized some of my own also. The CJ4 one works pretty well so I haven't touched that. Actually makes that aircraft quite enjoyable! All in all I have zero issues with the brunner on MSFS!
I got to the end of the video still waiting to be shown what this Multi-monitor is and how good it is and how you set it up. You told us nothing? Please People if your going to make videos at least make them with homework done in mind. The worse thing in the world when your talking to the world is insult the worlds intelligent. Sorry but this has to be said . Im seeing it constantly over and over . People just making youtube videos for the sake of getting thumbs up and subscribers. I will be making a video about these people so watch out for it. Sorry it had to be said on your video my friend. Look into doing a bit DJ work.
Sorry you didnt enjoy the video. Can you elaborate more on what you were looking for that I didn't cover? I created the video with the intent of it being more of a 'talking head' style video going over my thoughts, although I guess I could have demonstrated some flying.
What's your thoughts on the new multi-monitor support? How's it working out for you?
No because we cannot zoom to remove the door on both side still with xplane.
I don’t follow? Do you mean removing the interior virtual cockpit altogether?

Hello, how much degrees does your SideTVs have? Or how much space (in meter) is between them?
The TVs are in 90 deg configuration and 46 inches apart.

Any idea why MS took so long to add this support? It seems like this is a huge upgrade over single monitor.
