I finally bought my first T 5months ago. Now i bought 2 more, the trinidad pink and the golden blue leg babboon from fear not tarantulas. They are awesome, great customer service, thanks for pointing me towards them. A T that shouldve made this list is the darth maul tarantula ranging from 300-400 from what ive seen.

Awesome video. You have got me into the hobby. I’ve just started and already have 3 on the way haha. Do you ever plan on doing a Heteroscodra maculata care video? Or have you made one already?
Came here to say I now want all of these uugghhh 😍😍😍 and also to add that I expected T seladonia to be on here!!!!! Aaaand while we were checking out listings on fear not for the ones in your video, we also found a Darth Maul t that had a pretty hefty price tag. Thanks for posting this!
In that case I like to pay myself taxes every month so when I do find that epic lady.. or sling i can pick her up. I don't pay taxes either but I'm here for the pictures of pretty T's and lovely conversation with other addicts
I actually have a Jade Fuego and man is it small right now but it's doing real good! Can't wait to see this little one grow up! Fear Not Tarantulas is awesome to get anything from!
The bulk of the price (for most T's) comes when they've reached juvenile maturity and have been properly sexed as females. And then know they aren't fated to die in a few years (or less).
They are very rare to find for sale and often very expensive so I hope you find one, you probably have already done your research but they also require very specific housing in order to be comfortable, its also worth mentioning that once they make a retreat they rarely come out except to eat but it's definitely worth it as they are gorgeous
yeah same usually slings here in the UK are no more than £30-£40 (at least where I get them) even the P.metallica I have found at only £25 for a sling the same price as a G. rosea sling usually.
I just love 💗 to have Xenestis Sp. Blue, Dolicothele Diamentenensis, Poecilatheria Metallica, 🙀thank you 🙏 Richard to show your beautiful collection of Tarantulas 🕸🕷I really enjoy watching this episode 🤙🏼
I am more of a centipede guy myself, but I love arachnids in general especially tarantulas. I hope to start a arachnid collection in the future, and as for tarantulas, I will definitely be getting a P. Mettalica.
Most of these I want lol. I just miss having mine. My husband is gonna be pissed. But, I'm gonna be start a collection back up soon. Hes scared of spiders and snakes. I told him to choose between snakes or spiders. Hes all neither. I told him fine I want a canary mastiff. Lol I win.
I’d definitely love to add a Goliath bird eater to my collection. However, I wouldn’t change this list whatsoever. Great video, content and opinion my friend.
I’m absolutely terrified of spiders but fascinated by them if I find them in our house I never kill them but get my husband to put it outside I’ve subscribed to your channel too x

T. seladonia should have been number one in my opinion. Slings $350- $465 right now. Definitely should have been on this list. Love all your other choices many id love to own. Another amazing video cant wait tell next Tuesday!
Just saw your comment with your thoughts about it. You are right all the legal stuff should be straightened out before recommending it. I will delete my comment if you want me too.
what about the Typhochlaena seladonia (last year 327 dollar for a 0,5 cm sling!!!), Birupes simoroxigorum? These are one of the most expensive ts in europe.
There is a lot of legal issues surrounding those species here in the US and the legal gray area concerning those species is not something I wanted to get into in this video. So I just skipped over them all together for the time being. Maybe once there is some official word from the USFWS I can add them to the list. I just didnt want to recomened a species to people in the US that could cause legal issues further down the line.
Wow, that lava spider is beautiful! I don't think i've seen that species before. My wishlist is a bit redundant, but I'm in love with this genus. (same with Poecilotheria and Psalmopoeus) Phormingochilus sp rufus Phormingochilus sp Sabah Blue Phormingochilus sp Akcaya Phormingochilus everetti Phormingochilus pennellhewletti
The A mooreae is on my immediate wish list at the moment. Aphonopelma is my favorite genus and when I found out there was an Aphonopelma species that looked like a cross between a curly hair and a GBB, I knew I had to have one lol. Still on the lookout right now. I'm also considering a P metallica as my first venture into old worlds but that won't happen for a few months yet but I feel like I'm ready to graduate and make that step.
I just bought a Brazilian Black. The thing is I think they sold me a black pink knees. She was a little larger than sling, but was pure black now when she melted she has bright pink knees. She is beautiful. I only have three tarantulas. They are all beautiful.
I really liked all the new world tarantula's. My favourites were the Aphonopelma bicoloratum, ( Mexican blood leg). Aphonopelma Mooreae, ( Mexican Jade Fuego). And the Pseudlhapalopus Trinitatis, (Trinidad Cooper Top). All absolutely beautiful tarantula's. Thank you Richard, for sharing this video you've literally introduced me to Tarantula's that I've never ever seen let alone heard of before. Thank you, from the UK. 😊🇬🇧👍🏾🕷️
Do you have the Indian Ornamental tarantula? Very unique looking but super aggressive with bad venom from what I hear but a photo caught my attention enough to read up to see if I wanted one but I tend to stick with more laid back spiders.
Atleast i got one of your top 10 right now.The Poecilotheria metallica(Gooty sapphire ornamental).I can’t wait until mine grow. You inspired me a lot of taking good care of TS.I love my new hobby right now.
Yes I just ordered the A.moreae didn't realize how expensive but love it. I have been looking for the T.apophysis, but haven't found one. Great ideas ty
Is the sapphire really communal though? Have you kept them communally or could you point me to a direction where some one has videos of communal sapphires?
1:45 wow you got a mayan temple in the enclosure! So I'm not the only one. Mine is self made though, stonemason by profession, it was my journeyman's piece :D If I get a larger refund, I will most likely go for juvies or adults instead of more expensive species slings. The prices you're mentioning are CRAZY. I've just duckducked the excange value of USD / EUR and I'm shocked. Your prices for slings would be considered expensive here in EU even for an adult T. I guess, if I lived in US, I could not afford the hobby. Well, for some really rare species like seladonia or apophysis prices are similar, but the rest, wow...
You said the magik word, psychedelic, all the tarantulas are psychedelic, one of the many reason im in love with them... Love your videos btw. thanks you for all the info you really helped me a lot with my T.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you find the videos helpful.
If I had the money, a M. Balfouri communal!!!!
Just ordered mine. That's my dream T's. I just got 5 bit I'd kill to have a giant bioactive with at least 30 in there. I've thought about it ever since the 1st communal setup came about. 1 day my friend 😁
Where my m balfouri communals at??
In europe you pay for 1 m. Balfuri sling 11€ ( spidersworldeu.com)
Hi buddy another amazing video this week. Loved the slightly different flavour of this video. Not seen a video on expensive spiders yet. Keep it coming bro you make my Tuesday. Long live the collective
Richard: what's your dream t?
Ik I'm basic, but....
Grammastola Pulchra. Because at this point I'd be lucky just to get my fam to look at a photo of one 😂
Awww, I'm sorry ... my T's are sending you hugs right now.
I feel you tho... my bf wants me to move in with him but is super not sure about the T collection.
Maybe helpful tip... I've been warming up phobic people with cute slings, only one sling at a time tho, apparently 100 slings at once scares people. I just want to gently lay down and let them run all over me lol when I see that many hahaha
@@JaeElle I accept all the T hugs 🥰 lol
Right now my dream t is Theraphosinae sp. Panama
@@tarantulacollective Those are pretty awesome. I love how the orange on their legs makes it look like their body is glowing. Kinda like it's superheated or something
I love this channel so much !! greetings from germany
I’ve been looking for the lava spider too man
R they rly pretty? Should i buy 5 slings for 100$
What's the song at 9:48
Fuego and the Lava T were pretty intense!
I buy the Aphonopelma Mooreae a spiderling for 25€ at a reptile fair in Germany about 2 years ago.
Germany is the Land of many and cheap Tarantulas because we have lots of people who knows how to breed tarantulas.
Me, an Australian who will probably never see any of these beauties in person, let alone own one: *WEEPS*
There are avenues ;)
Not legal ones though :/
Umm whats the name of that song at 10:25 sounds nice
Look in the description under the video, I have the name and artists of all the songs used in this video towards the bottom.
@@tarantulacollective thanks and i love your content keep it up bro nice work👍👍👍👍
I have been waiting to spend my tax return on tarantulas 😂 you are just encouraging a bad habit now hahah my husband is going to hate me
Been watching your videos for awhile now, a friend would always share them on facebook. So i finally made a youtube account and subscribed. I love your videos man, there awesome.
So the Mexican Jade Fuego, Saba Blue, and the Lava Spider are hot. But no Venezuelan Sun Tiger? That is one awesome spider.
I absolutely love this video! Thank you for making my wishlist even bigger! My partner and I just bought a male gooty Sapphire to breed with his beautiful female that is almost a year old! We want to encourage and help others re-establish that breed and help it not go extinct! Thank you for this wonderful video! Thank you most of all for talking about the gooty sapphire
New 2020 title: Top 10 Tarantulas to blow your Covid Stimulus check on.
Awesome video. You have got me into the hobby. I’ve just started and already have 3 on the way haha. Do you ever plan on doing a Heteroscodra maculata care video? Or have you made one already?
I need an OBT Platinum Card...Over Budget Tarantula buyer with frequent takedowns on Cashback for purchases ...:-D
Ha ha ha .....sign me up too.
The Peocilotheria Metallica my favorite old world species they see gorgeous
Thanks Richard. Now I have another T on my list! That lava spider looks freaking awesome!
Him: use your tax refund
Me: I dont pay taxes
Yoshi, what are you doing here?
In that case I like to pay myself taxes every month so when I do find that epic lady.. or sling i can pick her up.
I don't pay taxes either but I'm here for the pictures of pretty T's and lovely conversation with other addicts
I actually have a Jade Fuego and man is it small right now but it's doing real good! Can't wait to see this little one grow up! Fear Not Tarantulas is awesome to get anything from!
The bulk of the price (for most T's) comes when they've reached juvenile maturity and have been properly sexed as females. And then know they aren't fated to die in a few years (or less).
You always have the best pictures and close ups...such beautiful animals. I myself am still looking for a poecilotheria subfusca lowland.
My dream Tarantula is Brazilian jewel 😍
They are very rare to find for sale and often very expensive so I hope you find one, you probably have already done your research but they also require very specific housing in order to be comfortable, its also worth mentioning that once they make a retreat they rarely come out except to eat but it's definitely worth it as they are gorgeous
Hey this is a completely random question but what is the instrumental that's playing at 1:41
I have all the tracks I use in all my videos listed in the description under the video
Man tarantulas are way too over priced in the US. 10x cheaper where I live
yeah same usually slings here in the UK are no more than £30-£40 (at least where I get them) even the P.metallica I have found at only £25 for a sling the same price as a G. rosea sling usually.
I got a p regalis here in the us for $45 most of mine have been under $100
I got my pmet juvenile for 50 bucks (unsexed)
A P.Regalis costs about 5 dollars in my country. What the hell?
And an Adult P.Met would costs 15 dollars
I just love 💗 to have Xenestis Sp. Blue, Dolicothele Diamentenensis, Poecilatheria Metallica, 🙀thank you 🙏 Richard to show your beautiful collection of Tarantulas 🕸🕷I really enjoy watching this episode 🤙🏼
I am more of a centipede guy myself, but I love arachnids in general especially tarantulas. I hope to start a arachnid collection in the future, and as for tarantulas, I will definitely be getting a P. Mettalica.
Now that is a proper tarantula video! Shock 🔥🕷
Purple bloom bird eater
Great video quality for having not that many subs. Keep up the great work! Subbed
I would sell my firstborn child for a P. solaris. xD
Just name your firstborn child "P. Solaris". :P
@4evercuber
Mind size: MEGA
I’m absolutely terrified of spiders but fascinated by them if I find them in our house I never kill them but get my husband to put it outside I’ve subscribed to your channel too x
Thanks so much for watching and welcome to the channel. I hope my videos will help normalize spiders and maybe even get you over your fear one day.
Two of your list is on my want list. C'mon refund!
If you get any money back these "tax cuts" are killing the middle and lower class.
Thanks for this video, I'm now claiming bankruptcy and your partially to blame. All jokes aside, I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work! And yes, my obt is still sitting on my head watching star wars!!
I enjoyed your video, thanks. I'm new to the T scene and reside in Toronto Canada. What would you recommend to start?
T. seladonia should have been number one in my opinion. Slings $350- $465 right now. Definitely should have been on this list. Love all your other choices many id love to own. Another amazing video cant wait tell next Tuesday!
Just saw your comment with your thoughts about it. You are right all the legal stuff should be straightened out before recommending it. I will delete my comment if you want me too.
what about the
Typhochlaena seladonia (last year 327 dollar for a 0,5 cm sling!!!),
Birupes simoroxigorum? These are one of the most expensive ts in europe.
There is a lot of legal issues surrounding those species here in the US and the legal gray area concerning those species is not something I wanted to get into in this video. So I just skipped over them all together for the time being. Maybe once there is some official word from the USFWS I can add them to the list. I just didnt want to recomened a species to people in the US that could cause legal issues further down the line.
@@tarantulacollective ... ok well that makes sense. I was just suprised that you didnt include such wonderfull (and expensive) ts. :)
Wow, that lava spider is beautiful! I don't think i've seen that species before.
My wishlist is a bit redundant, but I'm in love with this genus. (same with Poecilotheria and Psalmopoeus)
Phormingochilus sp rufus
Phormingochilus sp Sabah Blue
Phormingochilus sp Akcaya
Phormingochilus everetti
Phormingochilus pennellhewletti
I think I see a pattern
@@tarantulacollective Gotta catch them all!!! Lol
Some amazing spiders and some I've not heard of as a beginner. Gave me some new goals.
Great list Richard! If I could add anything to the list it would be the Typhochalena saledonia. My dream tarantula at this point haha.
I love the blue bloom! ...and Lava.. Just want to note that I've also seen P. Metallica for $35 a sling!
I just start with my collection i love your videos ❤️ do you now how much cost the chromatopelma cyaneopubescens?
I'd probably go with Amazonica Sapphire (I think that's it.) best regards, Ben. Thanks Richard!
Do you have the Indian Ornamental tarantula? Very unique looking but super aggressive with bad venom from what I hear but a photo caught my attention enough to read up to see if I wanted one but I tend to stick with more laid back spiders.
Awesome video! Cool to see the different Values in the Hobby
The Typhochlaena seladonia or Brazilian Jeweled tarantula is a must have in every collection.
Love the details and how good you can see the tarantulas! Impressed for sure ❤️
Atleast i got one of your top 10 right now.The Poecilotheria metallica(Gooty sapphire ornamental).I can’t wait until mine grow. You inspired me a lot of taking good care of TS.I love my new hobby right now.
Hello have you heard the sp mindanao of the Philippines?? There are few species earth tiger that are now being explored. Hope you can add to your list
Yes I just ordered the A.moreae didn't realize how expensive but love it. I have been looking for the T.apophysis, but haven't found one. Great ideas ty
Is the sapphire really communal though? Have you kept them communally or could you point me to a direction where some one has videos of communal sapphires?
Is this poecilotheria metallica old or new world and is this tarantula agerssive and more information for this tarantula
I actually just bought a Xenesthis sp blue a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait to see it grow!!
I absolutely love hearing about some if the more rare t's
Awesome collection boss
Keep it up! Love your work you've help me and my 20+ beings incredibly
