- Cold start of my golf 5 TDI. I was a little suprised by how difficult it was to get it going, although the battery was pretty weak at that time. Mind you, my car was one of only few cars there that actually did start! Including someone's brand new toyota.
Somewhere in my first attempt the car's complaining I'm trying to hard... - Авто та транспорт
This was in Germany, Hochsauerland region. Camera is a GoPro - I just love the vid quality of it!
It’s impossible that at -12,5° Celsius most of the cars there wouldn’t start. Especially a brand new Toyota. 🤔
I had -25° Celsius in România in January about 3-4 years ago, and all of my neighboards’ cars started very well, including my 2014 VW Golf 7 1.6 TDI 105HP, that was 4-6 years old at the time (with about 70.000km on the clock). No problems at all.
Not to talk about my grandfather’s 2007 Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI (petrol), that starts like a dream even at -30° Celsius 😂😂😂
Did you figure out the problem? Got the same issue on my golf 4 TDI.
Good camera ^^
Nice. Where was this at? Also whatever camera you used took a great vid! The picture looked really clear on my tablet :D
this is not how you start diesele car!!
U need to heat at least 3-4 times...
+PyrOmaFiJa Great way to break the glowplugs...
+Anton Eriksson u are stupid for what are made glowplugs....
+PyrOmaFiJa It's useless to heat multiple times...
@@Anotaren it’s better to break parts worth 30$ than starting the car like that.
@@MrSeianec it’s not. Just try it. You turn the ignition, after the lights go off, wait 5 seconds, then turn off the ignition. You repeat that 3 times, and then you fire up the engine.
The next morning, you turn the ignition, wait 5 seconds after the lights go off, and then fire ul the engine. You will see that there is a difference, especially if on of your spark plugs is dead.
