    And now I understand why mounting position doesn't really matter. Thank you.

    Any suggestions on troubleshooting other things besides a power issue?

    So the tweeters are either titanium dome or aluminum dome instead of soft silk dome (which I would expect at this price point). This is going to sound harsh when the volume is pumped up.

    Any ideas on how to fix a right speaker that stopped working?

    Hello,
    Do you know the specs of the medium loudspeaker (Ref PVT1-6312512) ? - Two of mine are out of order and I need to change them. I would like to find something approaching.
    Thanks.

    When I took mine apart the back panel fell off and tore the led leads from the metal plate. Does anyone know the polarity of the wires that are soldered to the PCB?

    Hi coud you please give me the specs of the Fuse (glass) you have put in place in the power board? Thanks

    Wonder what specs are of the PSU. Worst case you can replace it with something else with about same specs (same or slightly lower voltage, at least same amp rating).
    That why I love external PSUs though many people hate them. So easy to replace when they fail and usually no point in trying to repair them - just replace. Usually it's no issue finding one that fits electrically and if using some odd connector just cut cables and reuse the old one.

    Hello! i just wonder if you have by any chance closer pictures of elements around K6A65D transistor like R18, R19 , C26 ?
    I got a power supply defect and burnt elements but need to identify them first.
    Regards,
    Paul

    So I have mine apart and one of the big capacitors blew. It looks like it sprayed across toward the rectifier with the heat sink and melted a small component. I don’t know what is was and the motherboard material is eroded a bit. Also the little black square thing has a hole in it. I don’t know what this part is either. Looks like screwed.

      hola, te han contestado como se abre la barra de reproducción, me pasa lo mismo?

    Are there any identifying numbers on the speaker drivers or are they proprietary? I have a failed right-side driver I'd like to replace instead of throwing the Playbar in the trash! Trade-in for a refurbished unit is $490 which really doesn't make financial sense.

    Is it true about the 9 amplifiers. one for each speaker???

    • @ambushb0y

      in for the explanation, i wonder which ones they went with

    • @mattb9664
      @mattb9664 4 роки тому

      Each speaker/driver has its own Texas Instruments class D IC chip amp, presumably the 50 watt versions since they usually have a piggyback heatsink.

    What brand of capacitors were used originally ? Just curious

    • @diavalus
      @diavalus Рік тому +1

      I am not sure if you’re still interested in this, but maybe it will help someone else otherwise. It seems like the capacitors are Jackcon.

    Is that an infrared sensor on the back??

    • @mattb9664
      @mattb9664 4 роки тому

      It has an infrared sensor on the front so that your existing TV remote works seamlessly to control the volume.

    • @jimalden9376
      @jimalden9376 3 роки тому

      There are actually two IR sensors, one for each orientation used
