Did you ever remove the heat sync to find out what class D amp chip they are using?

there is a circuit for this amplifier ... the on and off relay is triggered ... it constantly clicks but does not turn on ... does not react to reboot

The Amp uses a Qualcomm DDFA Class D amp.

Thanks, used this to dismantle my unit after it stopped working. Found a chip had blown on the board, U3 next to C19 and C17. Unfortunately the chip number blew off, when it exploded. Can you see what number is written on the top of this chip on your unit? There appears an 80 and a letter K

The chip is UCC28880 700-V, 100-mA Low Quiescent Current Off-Line Converter. I am looking for the value of L2, C17 & C19

@@dhariri I did not. I gave up on it and moved on. I found other exploded components so it seems like the power supply board died violently. Not sure what others ICs may be damaged as well. I was able to inject 35 vdc to the amp module and it powered up so damage is limited to the power supply alone.

Welp. I’m not smart enough for this….mine quit working yesterday and I kid you not 2 years to the day from when i installed it! From what I see here it looks like a blown power supply as it won’t even try to turn on. Sonos said I can get a 30% off coupon if I send the broken amp to them.

I discovered that after you remove the power supply there are only two pins that connect to the motherboard with the power supply that powers the system motherboard I think is 47v positive and negative I think you could do a bypass connect that voltage and turn on.

I discovered that after you remove the power supply there are only two pins that connect to the logicboard powers the system motherboard I think is 47v positive and negative I think you could do a bypass connect same voltage and turn it on if dont have other damage .
