- This 30 minute practice focusses on toning, strengthening & lengthening the muscles in your upper and lower body in equal parts. Start your practice with a calming equal part breath, moving to cat/cow to warm the spine. Flow through surya namaskar A & B and into side plank before resting & lengthening. Challenge your balance in eagle and lengthen and tone the larger muscles in your legs - thighs, hamstrings and glutes. Enjoy!

You made me realise that my feet aren't taking the effort evenly distributed, as with so many habit has me preferring wheight in certain parts of the skelettal structure, but not others, am working on becoming more aware of this, again & again grateful to your precision! 🙏🏻❤️

I always think the way we stand on our feet makes an impression all the way up the body affecting our gait and posture. Start there and our bodies stand taller and with more symmetry:-) 🙏
@@TwoBirdsYoga Oh yes, posture, or acture rather, as Feldenkrais had it, depends on the functional use of the supporting planes, in standing it's the soles of the feet, everything follows on how well we do it.

@@TwoBirdsYoga I'm listening very carefully to my body and accepting that just because I could do this a month ago does not mean I can do it now. My knees are funny and I don't fully trust them. Going into child's pose used to be really restful but now my knees talk to me, trying to understand why. So I'm a work in progress but I saw your latest release and I'm looking forward to trying it over the weekend if the babies behave. Treat to myself.

I know this is a couple of years old, but this was the first time I did this routine. I liked the 30-minute flow, but I found the music too loud and distracting. I don't mind soft, gentle music, but I found it hard to hear Fiona at times during the practice.
Oh I agree… early days and still working out how to edit. I’ve subsequently added Spotify playlists in the last 8 months or so and kept the flows music free :-)
could you please release this video without the music? I find it harder to keep my breath steady when there is music
I understand… the music in earlier classes is quite polarising. I have a huge playlist of classes now without music. See the playlist below :-) I’ll look into Re recording it soon. I’ll let you know 😊
