30 Minute Active, Morning Vinyasa Flow (Day 2 Challenge)

- This is a 30 minute active, morning vinyasa flow. It's an all round flow including warming sun salutes, standing and balancing postures, core work, backbends and hip openers. Class moves at an un-rushed pace, giving you an opportunity to linger in the poses and cultivate a rhythmic cadence to your breath. Please take a few minutes at the end of your practice to rest and absorb the benefits of your practice in Shavasana.

Thank you so much for this lesson, beautiful to begin the weekend thus, & I learned, deeper, how the hip of the hind side in Triangle really pulls the front leg straight - what a revelation! Thank you from the heart for that! ❤️🙏🏻
Great to hear you had a a ha moment. Another cue I heard recently which is helpful for avoiding locking out the front knee, is to act like you’re trying to lift the front heel without actually doing it. Activates the calf and hamis :-) ❤️🙏
@@TwoBirdsYoga Oh yes, & pushes the front half of the pelvis back, same effect as with pulling away/up the hind part. Incredible, the functionality of the human form!

@@TwoBirdsYoga 30-45 minutes is what I do every morning and 60-75 minutes classes during the weekend. So perfect if you add more videos with this length. Have you ever considered to do a Kundalini inspired class?
Snap… I do the same x kundalini isn’t really in my repertoire but I sometimes practice this style with Kia Miller on yoga Glo. I’ll share one of her classes with you when I’m next on. Xx

That’s great to hear! New Zealand South Island was incredible. So scenic. All mountains, glaciers, nature and ocean. We mountain biked and hiked, choppered to glaciers and visited family. Awesome! Thanks for asking. Mia’s car is doing just fine as is fine for now. Fingers crossed. 😊🙏

Hope the flat day has passed. Just being outside is my reliable antidote! Cycling, walking or gardening does it… Bought different varieties of heather yesterday to secure the earth wall at the rear of our house. I hadn’t realised their colour range ☺️
jonobikey yes!! Nature a saviour. My husband mark jumped in the ocean this morning trying to shake off his funk. We are all well thankfully. And more resilient than we give ourselves credit for. Your heather shopping and project sounds great. Spring just blooming here!
