45 Minute Vinyasa Yoga - Total Body Tone Flow - Day 12 Challenge

- This is a 45 minute total body vinyasa flow yoga class. Class begins gently with a hip opening series, before progressing to our standing sequences. Each sequence is repeated twice. First moving slow, then second round, one movement, one breath. You'll work on toning your arms, abs and legs building some heat and strength. Cool down with reclined cow face & hip groin postures before resting in shavasana. Enjoy Yogis!

Thank you Your class it engages the full body; You make it easy to follow, not saying too much but just enough I really appreciate this video and come back to it often. I am a 60 year old male with a lot of miles on this old body- Lost my wife and son recently and thought I didn’t have a reason to live; when I close my eyes I just felt as if I was tumbling falling deeper into a bottomless deep pit dark. My Higher Power [God] I believe has a new chapter for me. I found a Health coach “Darcy “ (A professional) introduced me to Yoga as part of my regimen. My spiritual & physical is becoming more balanced - yoga, meditation, healthy diet and a handful of other positive things on a daily basis are tools for my journey life. I was first a bit hesitant to try this series, having this thought that it might be too intermediate and therefore won't be able to keep the pace and pose. 😆 well, i just did and it worked out all lovely. I really enjoyed this practice. I haven't practiced with you for a couple of weeks and I don't know why, your classes are excellent. Baby was being kind so I added your morning meditation to the end. @@TwoBirdsYoga I've been curious for a while but what is the pose in your intro where you are floating on just your hands and your legs look like they are straight out behind? And a question about the last class- I can feel so much improvement in all my poses and movements in almost every area apart from the straddle. Is that just a body thing or a time thing. It's a push to get it to 90 degrees.

Paul Fairbrother straddle... as in temple pose or seated wide leg pose? Great to hear you’re noticing an improvement and sometimes that improvement is just being more aware of your body in space. Finding and feeling it’s symmetry and sensing your bodies own subtle cues to find better alignment. In my 17 years of practicing, I still find it hard to forward fold. And I really think sometimes it’s just an anatomical thing. The way your bones sit in the joint... sometimes there’s just more space for their mobility and in other bodies... there’s less. I definitely fall into the latter.... not that flexible - particularly in the hips. Our goal is just to enjoy our own unique full range of motion in our own bodies. 90 degrees, 60, 45 ... is incidental. If you’re feeling a good stretch with awareness... you’re on the right train :-)
@@TwoBirdsYoga no, it's not that one. I surprised myself last week by floating into a koundinyasana. I was so impressed with myself that I learned how to spell it. It's the pose directly afterwards on 0:30 seconds. I'm fairly certain it's you. Just a curiosity, it looks like a chaturanga but without feet.
My second class with Two Birds. Again, I got a couple of new little things out of it (modified side plank and the heel lift in warrior 2) which makes me really glad. Great classes, thank you

i have been doing your classes a few times a week with my mom and enjoy them all! I have been doing yoga for 15 years and her practice is pretty new but it suits both of us. Your immune-system boosting class, in particular, is a favorite of ours -- incorporating interesting new flows for me and nice ways of describing new movements for her!

this class is amazing, did it two days in a row. Little feedback on the last part lying down it was a bit hard to see which legs go were for the stretches. Might be cool to have a view from a bit higher for floor pose, or a simpler fix a yoga pants that contrast with the background and the mat ;) Thank you so much for this flow!!

Excellent lesson, thank you so much for your work, precise & rich. I wonder - do you have a background in choreography/dance, by any chance? I collaborate a lot with choreographers in my music work, & how you e.g. transition from one place/position to the next reminds me of how they organize themselves in gravity..
