Walking Workout with Weights for Beginners & Seniors // Low Impact Cardio

- Increase your heart rate with this fun and easy to follow cardio walking aerobic workout!
Light hand weights are optional but they are great option to increase strength and make the routine more challenging. I’m using 3 pounds, I don’t recommend going higher. We will be holding weights during the entire workout. Water bottles or canned soup work as light dumbbells as well.
We do lots of different exercises while returning to a walking march between each move. Please go at your own pace. If you feel you are working too hard, please slow down, and/or don’t do the arm moves. Returning to a walking March is a good idea too.
In just 18 minutes you will get a great cardio workout while using the weights to tone your shoulders, biceps, triceps and back!

Did this today…and I loved it…I started doing your full body weight training with dumbbells last week 3x a week…alternating it with your cardio workouts… As a 52 year old post menopausal woman… I would like to build some muscle…am I doing it right? Or I should do the full body workout everyday?… hugs from a Filipina living in 🇯🇵 ❤️
What you are doing sounds great Marissa! If you want to build more muscle I would suggest increasing the size of your weights as you get stronger :)

Hi lauren, I am a newbie to the concept of weights and completely clueless on the nomenclature. When you say " i am using 3 pounds " , is each of the dumbbell 3 pounds or the total of both dumbbells 3 pounds ?.
I'm using two dumbbells that are 3 pounds each :)

This is one of my older videos Becky. I think the music is way better on my videos that are more current.

The music was not very good ...english isn t my language so was difficult to follow you and to consentrate
This is one of my older videos and the music was overlayed in editing, so the moves don't go to the beat which may be why it was distracting. All my newer videos that have some sort of cardio are now chorographed to go to the beat of the music.
