The idea for this video was stolen directly from Primink who posted a video on it in February 2020. Basically robbery in broad daylight. If you think I should be in jail - I agree. I've linked his version in the description. Please go subscribe to him. Thank you all
This stuff is so sad. My Ex was obsessed with becoming an influencer, she would buy followers, comment on her own photos with fake accounts, buy products and pretend that she was sponsored by them, etc. She wouldn’t even post photos of us together on her page as she was scared of losing followers. It’s honestly a mental illness
Lily is insane. I’ve loosely followed her story since I saw Primink’s video on her a few years ago. I followed a few people on twitter that would talk about her and liked a few of their tweets. Even though I personally never made any tweets talking about her or anything she still found my profile and BLOCKED ME. For liking tweets about her. So that means she’s looking at every single tweet mentioning her name and blocking everyone that likes/interacts with them. Insane. Keeping up the facade is a full time job for she and her mom
It really makes you wonder where the money to financially sustain this comes from. It's obvious her mother isn't working and doing all this. As her father is never mentioned or acknowledged I can only presume he's either absent or divorced (possibly a source of the income?) Seems so stressful and demanding just to appear famous.
The irony that she talks about the "bullies" when she literally does the exact same thing to content creators who simply talk about the situation. I've got no respect for her whatsoever.
I just looked her up and apparanterly she is registered on IMDb as an "actor" and posted 264 pictures of herself, she might be the biggest narcisist the world has ever seen.
Dude she’s like the 1 lunatic 1 ice pick guy. The guy was so obsessed with himself that he created hundreds of fake fan page accounts to comment on his account to make him look famous. After he realized he liked the feeling of internet fame he began killing cats and posting it online, kind of like any attention is good attention thinking, well, he eventually moved to killing and r ping a guy on camera. His name is Luka Magnota.
she easily could have pivoted this into a huge (real) following if she claimed the whole thing was a social experiment about the artificiality of influencer culture. she had already generated a lot of interest with everyone investigating her, she could have gone fully Poppy and done something experimental like an ARG or something. anything but double down on the lie that everyone could see through.
That’s smart, but it’d require her to stop living in her own fantasy land for more than 5 minutes. She’s dug herself too deep to say ‘it was just a social experiment’
A lot of "influencers" fake content for clout. However, this girl really goes over the top. She seems to have a pathological drive to portray herself as an internet celebrity. I worry what will happen now that she's been exposed.
there is a war in Ukraine people are dying why the fuck some people care about fake followers on the instagram of a model who is not very beautiful anyway
Yeah, doing “interviews” and videos where she only gets about 20k views where NO negativity is present and all positive ones are liked by her. And you’d think with her insta “fame” she would have more than like 22k subs.
This has been going on for YEARS, look at priminks video if youre not aware of it. She doesnt take criticism well at all and usually just passes it off as bullying and harrassment and her and her psycho mom will try to strike videos down and threaten lawsuits on anyone that makes a video on her. Which, albeit, she does get get a fair share of genuine bullying but she never addresses the real criticisms and lumps it all in as harrassment
Narcissism in its highest form. She painted a godly image of herself (being a famous influencer/model) and when that reality began to crumble, started calling people out for ''bullying''. Its a classic technique to avoid negative consequences of your actions. Just call your critics bad names and play the victim and your'e fine.
Reminds me of my coworker, claims to be the best worker but takes 5+ bathroom breaks a day that last over 20 minutes each time, yells at citizens who don't have their health phi ready, and looks patients up on Facebook while talking to them. Arrives every day late, leaves early most days. I work at the state health department in Oklahoma. I've reported it to HR for over two years because we are the only two taking calls for the entire state health department immunization service and I'm the only one of the phones 90% of the time. I've worked here for three years and this person has also worked here for three years and they refuse to punish this person, I think because they identify as the opposite gender and have clear mental issues. Also the top manager, Paula Deyell, is this person's grandmother. That's probably why this person, Jane Bard, will never be fired for anything. Jane also has fake tourrettes. It makes random noises all day long specifically to annoy me then anytime anyone else comes into the immunizations office, Jane immediately stops making noises the entire time they are there then starts as soon as its only us in the room. When I first started working here, we all went out to a bar, the entire department with all the other offices and Jane didn't make a single noise the entire 5 hours we were there. I hate this person so so sooo much. Our manager Matt McLean is buddy buddy with Jane and Paula and I'm the odd one out, aka the conservative and they're democrats. They can't fire me and they refuse to fire Jane, so we're stuck together.
She still should do the right thing. Crazy mom or not. My dad was a very stupid and abusive man child. I know better than to be even close to something like he was. You don't have to be your parents.
And the scariest part is, it's not even clear what her motives were since I don't really see her getting extra monetary gains from faking her brand deals. So it has to be none other than a case of rich mom feeding her delusional daughter's "dreams".
Honestly, I find her whole story pathetic. She's obsessed with getting likes and follows that she began botting herself and feeling she's on a stage with a non-existing audience watching her while cancelling those who try to expose her. It sounds bad that people value their lives with internet points. She needs to learn a lesson.
Dude, she is insane. I don´t think that the lesson will be learned, nor enough. Also; sadly money can´t buy good looks, which are pretty important for a model. :D
This video is suuuper nice with her. Not even a mention about the weirdest parts - the French boyfriend, the infamous livestream, the hacker, her "love is love" statements... Lillee and her mother are people who believe "fair use" means "favorable to me". They DMCAed so many people UA-cam automatically rejected some of their requests!! They will try their hardest to take your channel down.
Ooo, I know vague details bout this person which is why I clicked but now it looks like you're sending me down the rabbit hole at midnight...here we go.
It's truly insane how many people get conned in to supporting 1m+ followers, especially on ig who are 90%+ bought. Those influencers sell ads spots and shout outs to people who don't know better and it's insane what they get away with.
That's because most of these companies are still ran by boomers who have next to no clue how the internet and social media actually works. They just throw money at anything they think will give them a return on their investment.
Looking into Lillee Jean is like a bottomless rabbit hole. I legit felt like I was going crazy just trying to understand how anyone could go to the lengths her and her mother have gone to for this long to try and pull this off.
Not just a black person, but also a gay man and his partner, a young Muslim woman, and a trans teen….from what I remember. Each was a stereotypical as they could possibly be. So incredibly offensive. She’s just gross.
I've read comments of people feeling bad for Lillee or thinking that she probably didn't mean to cause harm when she started this delusion. But Lillee and her mom are not innocent in this situation AT ALL. She's constantly harassed people for so much as mentioning her, terminating Twitter accounts and YT channels unfairly. She also stated, and I quote, that "[black] people that have not experienced slavery directly should shut the f*CK up" and that trans people are just confused (it's all in her podcast with her mum). She also said that "a 12 yo dating a 17 yo it's ok and that dating a minor is only illegal if you report it". Yes, she may have felt 'harassed', but the Reddit convos started just as mere gossip, and only escalated when Lillee exposed herself as being completely and totally unable to accept anyone so far as mentioning her.
@@forgivezharion6989 come up with a better insult then a crying fatherless child which is unoriginal as among us memes trollge is waiting for you, for him to tell you to go drink water and get a better troll
There’s also that extremely weird situation with her so called boyfriend. A much older guy who sounds like he groomed her, but also, it sounds like she completely lies abt it and actually has no boyfriend. She’s either a victim or completely lied aboht this guy’s existence
The girl is delusional! She bullies people all over the place and then says she's the one being bullied! Her mother is just as bad. The fake articles she pays people to put on the internet about her are truly insane!
From the paid fake 1 million followers, to the photoshop edits, fake sponsorships, using the " you're a homophobe!" card, and much more. You can pretty much make a case study on the toxic vitriol of social media by using her as a basis.
The fact that people get so obsessed over social media and are so caught up in that poison and they have to literally purchase "followers" is seriously so very sickening and a mental issue.
It's just young people wanting to feel validated and probably weren't for a majority of their life. It's not sickening, it's sad and it's important to be empathetic to those people. They most likely don't value themselves and don't think they are worthy of genuine affection.
@@13ritneyanneit's just bizarre that people can feel any kind of validation from something they know is fraudulent. Really odd. Takes a lot of mental gymnastics.
Well when you get a job out of it, its actually smart, im sure a lot of celebs use their own money to spend on their launches for it to be soldout in hours
I remember when people were investigating this (yes, even Creepshow Art back before Emily’s video on her). She constantly attacked and harassed people who attempted to out her - her and her mother both. Neither of them are victims here. The only victims are the ones who blew the whistle.
Just went to check her insta account. I have never seen such a fake account in my life. The same accounts comment on the same post at least 4 times and most of the pics have almost the same number of comments, 4,800 ish. And her entire content feels so weird, like it’s fake
Oh my god. What has this girl ever done to you? What she’s done is completely harmless, the fact that people are shaming her and taking the piss is so sickening and heartbreaking.
Nah fr idk how that’s even possible 💀😭 maybe if she actually had talent or something she was passionate about doing she could of potentially done something with this but instead she a complete ham smh
@@SleepySloth2705 dw he might be trolling, besides, social media is about discussing topics and scams xD. Fr tho, I would never do what Lillie Jean did, I have researched sub botters for money, and honestly, it's not worth 1 cent. It takes around 1hr-1month to make a video, and in return, you earn fame. It's like earning money. Scammers scam to find a quick way to make money, Fake influences buy accounts and sub botters to find a quick way to get famous.
Definitely a “princess mindset”. Her whole life she’s been called a princess and now believes that and after failing to gain real success she decided to fabricate it, she didn’t get what she wanted to (probably her and her mother rationalising it in their head) fake it ‘til she made it and hopefully got noticed for an actual brand deal/sponsor
3. rich trustfund baby trying to be an influencer 4. the Kardashians, or every celebrity there is 5. cryptobros 6. youtubers trying to reach milestones
The sad thing is that it seems like she genuinely does not understand what's wrong with her behavior as if in her mindset, lying is something that everybody is doing but they are just better at hiding it.
Of course she will strike. She has struck every one of my videos covering her. But I counter and win every time because she's not at all understanding how fair use works.
Right before she 'took off', I had asked her to do some photos for my small makeup company. She was all excited about it and it wasn't until a couple of months later that I found out she was 16. Instantly I got her mother involved and she was all for it. She asked that we have a conference call about Lillee's role as a model for us. We set it up for 7 pm my time which was 9 pm her time. When we got on the phone, she said Lillee would not be able to join us as she was taking a 'power nap'. Who takes a power nap at 9 PM when they have scheduled a meeting with a business? My business advisory felt the entire conversation with Lillee's 'mother' seemed terribly shady and we pulled out. I only lost about $100 in PR makeup to her. I feel lucky!
@dark gaming No need to be sorry. Independent makeup companies are not the money-makers they used to be. However, I would suggest face and body products. :) One thing that people that make their own products need to know is that you spend more time doing social media than making your products. You have to keep your name out there constantly otherwise you fall to the bottom of the scroll.
I knew a girl like this She was so delusional she actually believed the stuff Before kpop had gotten big, she would sent pictures and videos of her korean boyfriend who I later found out was someone in a kpop group and she'd never even met him And another time she called me to say her ex had kidnapped her and taken her phone and when I asked how she'd called me, she hesitated and said she'd used his landline while he was gone but I told her it didnt make sense that she called me instead of the cops and its not like we ever talk on the phone so how did she remember my number and she insisted she wrote it on her hand before she left home. It was a very weird situation and I distanced myself from her after that
When exactly did being an "influencer" become a thing? People like her need to understand that to be famous, you need to do something worth being famous for. Even the useless celebrities are famous for something, even if it is just for knowing someone else. You can't fake or force being famous, it isn't going to work.
@@toast6375 Well, in the past you were influential for your actions, words, intellect, etc. But the advent of the internet has seemingly created a niche where being an influencer by virtue of being an influencer is not only possible, but desirable
Look at tia from pitbulls and parolees. She doesn't go to the gala. She doesn't post constant selfies and go to beaches just to take pics. She's a normal person. But she's still a hero. Fame isn't what anyone thinks it is. It's an illusion.
Exactly. People who are influential and/or famous are usually that because they give something from themselves to the world that attracts and excites other people. You have to give others a reason to want to come back to you for more, and it takes hard work. You can't expect to hold onto a large following if you give them nothing and no reason to keep coming back. Lillie clearly hasn't understood that, she just expects an audience to watch her play.
This is so odd. It’s like having the “fake it til you make it” mindset to the extreme. Even worse is the part that her mother supports her in all of this.
@@pringle409 Sorkin's case is absolutely fascinating. She's someone who's arrogance is backed up by intelligence. I couldn't get enough of that case just because she was so smart. The fact that some people think all Black people read, write & speak with illiteracy is baffling to me. We are not all from "the hood" and many of us value academic intellect.
michael_scott_surprised_face.gif (As someone who lives ins South America, no, we don't have piñatas hanging all over the place, and no, we don't dress up as the dead for every celebration )
That is exaclty what a black person would say becuase they are angry at white people for not letting them work in a cotton field any more......(lol) On a seriously note I point out to my partner all the stereotypes people actually believe, like all black woman being loud and saying catch phrases like "owe no you didn't shaniqua" all becuase they seen a t.v show with black woman in the crowd saying things like that On some level I think it's done on purpose and feel like people are actully becoming these stereotypes becuase of it also, I mean how many kids 8 years old or so would know anything about popping caps in people's arses, without the rap industry? (It's just outrages)
To be fair it actually does work with influencers quite well. Around 2018 a lot of the up and coming "soundcloud rappers" were industry plants. Of course the difference is they're backed by massive corporations rather than doing it all themselves so are harder to detect. Instagram is full of rented supercars, rented designer clothes, photoshopped holidays, people who use performance enhancing drugs, or implants to shovel bad fitness courses down your throat. These guys seem to use it like it's some contest over who's living their best life, they never include their friends or family in their photos, and they never seem to care about anything that isn't in their self interest.
I must be old (going on 38 this year) but for the amount of time, money, and resources it takes to pull this off, a person could genuinely be interesting and popular by investing into a talent or skill or hobby or do something SUBSTANTIAL to get the same effect if not greater. To me, it's just so bizarre.
yeah ppl think becoming an influncer or a celebrity means you do nothing and get money , why people are famous is because they do something and have talent most wannabe just fake it
all cartoonish caricatures of different races and identities. like how she had a stereotypical gay BFF character that was a clothing designing DIVA QUEEN. Or her fake Indian “fan” who wished she could be pale just like Lillee and that her own skin was like leather
It's so hard to get through 😬, the way the supposed people talk (or rather type) is so forced and unnatural. It's pure unadulterated cringe and it's almost like she's never spoken to, or met a black/gay/indian/*insert race or identity here* person in real life.

As someone who’s trying to grow my online presence on insta, sometimes I feel self-conscious about having a low follower count But learning about her obsession with something so fake makes me feel better I may not have a ton of followers, but at least they’re real lmao
I used to be “friends” with her on insta. So basically I was one of those people who wanted lots of likes and comments on insta but I’m not in that phase anymore! I was added into engagement group chats and eventually WhatsApp group chats where you send the link to your post and ask people to like and comment. The general rule is you return the likes and comments but some people wouldn’t 🤷🏼♀️. I likes and commented on her posts. Ngl I thought dam how does she have so many likes and comments when her posts really aren’t good and I eventually stopped and she stopped liking and commenting on my posts too. The reason she got certain comments before like “wow you deserve to be on vogue” and “omg you’re makeup is insane” is because she would comment similar things on other peoples posts. I’m glad I’m not in the mindset I was before that likes and comments are important. I got sucked in and spent way to long commenting and liking posts so people would do the same for me. Non of the comments are genuine it’s all “stunning, beautiful, unreal” with a bunch of emoji’s. It was definitely an interesting time I’m my life but not one I recommend. Live life and post what you want. I’m glad Instagram now has the hide like count button as I use that on all my posts now. To anyone to still wants to have lots of love on their posts and believe it validates them- you are amazing as you are and you don’t need fake people giving you validation ❤️ you do you 🥰
You made me realize that's what my sister did. All these generic "you go girl" comments from random people from the US. She lives in Australia. Not a single American friend in real life.
😂 for real i was in that mindset too but realized if you want people to engage, it’s a lot better if you work on your hobbies rather than showing off how famous you are because people would be interested in that for few times then leave you
The moment is going to come when you know you're taking your last breaths. Our personas in cyber space will mean nothing then. It's our loved ones and the difference we made in there lives that will help you take that last breath with a smile. There's a whole world out there that's a miracle it even exists at all. Take the time to set your phone down and enjoy the moment. You only get one life and it can end any moment.
Well now you know: the internet's opinion largely doesn't matter lol. Good or bad. Cultivate your own self-worth and don't let strangers screw with that! Bots are a problem on most, if not all, of social media and everything has to be taken with a grain of sand. And look at those engagement rates even when your account isn't full of bots: a few thousand likes for every MILLION subscribers. And that's normal!
I noticed something in Lillie’s Teen Vogue Magazine issue, if you zoom in on the T in teen you can see an X in a circle which means she took a screenshot of the logo and it seems like she was trying to get rid of it because she put a flower on top of the logo. However, if you compare it to other issues the logo is fully visible. Next if you look to the left you can see what the magazine is about, it says “8 ideas straight off the runway”, when I looked it up on Google, an issue on Teen Vouge featuring Emma Stone appeared meaning that she took a screenshot of all of the content in the picture and decided to cover up Emma’s face with what appears to be a forest background. (God I feel like I’ve written an entire novel in the comment section).

My daughter purchased Instagram followers before bc she claimed a girl she knew told her she would get more likes & views. SO I believe it's $1.69 for every 50 followers or something like that...Long story short it's all easily discovered bc their views and followers do go up but their likes don't, basically its like seeing someone with 4,500 followers yet they can only get 650-700 likes out of thousands of followers. Basically the math don't math and my child never did it again lol
And she still does it… her most recent insta posts are filled with thousands of blue checkmark accounts repeating the same messages up to five times. Crazy

Its a girl using the internet in an unhealthy age of history with an unhealthy lack of wisdom and an unhealthy overadvanved technology. We are all as crazy as she is. If someone gets angry at that it prove my point. If someone is secure in their fear of her insanity there is no need to negatively react to these ideas to defend oneself. It stands on its own. However the fear itself is ridiculous. She's a girl using social media. This finger pointing at her is insane. She's clearly a victim of a very sick society. Witch hunting her speaks to the lack of moral compass. Not that she was right to do so. It's just that she is the primary suffer of the phenomenon of making a fake profile. However the people pointing the finger are victims too. It doesn't feel good to be hateful, or angry even mildly angry. It's not healthy to spend one's time this way. This is broadly a critique of pur culture. Times are changing though. Soft times make soft people. Revolutionary change is coming soon. Not violent, but if there are food shortages people in the 3rd world will starve for instance. This is terrible. They have been toiling for decades. I'm a programmer and I actually had a contract programming instragram bot for doing fake comments and follows and likes. And i can tell you that a person not versed in tech wouldn't be able to do more than 5000 fake accounts by themselves, even with a program that does it. Meaning she had to have bought it, it wasn't the doing of her own hands or even hands of a few psychotic "fans". Had to have been a professional bot farm.
@@jdavis37378 my first attempt was via direct HTTP communication between my program and instagram, but I found out instagram is heavily AJAX-based and uses some per-request generated secret keys and some other checksums to verify that the data requests are actually going out from their actual JavaScript code, and it would be too difficult to hunt for those keys, so as a fallback option, my program spawned a child chromium process which it then could control by API calls, and basically pretend to be a user, by telling that chromium process what HTML elements to find and where to click, and then it was "just" a matter of doing the process manually once, and writing down the steps, and then programming those steps into my program to be sent to that chromium child process. Basically you look for the element you need in the DOM via xpath, then you ask for that element's coordinates, then you send an action (click, for example, if it's a button, link or inputbox you want to focus) within those coordinates, then if it was the search bar, for example, you start sending keypress actions (which go through as "typing" into the textbox, since it's been focused by the previous click), you search for a hashtag, or a user, then you collect the results via xpath, and iterate through them, again, simulating clicks into their box, waiting for the new page to load, and either selecting the comment textbox via xpath then typing into it (if you searched for a hashtag), or using xpath to select posts (if you were searching for a specific username, thus you're now on their profile), and so on and so on. then I found out that instagram also has some pretty cool user activity tracking, so that if my program just repeated the steps exactly each time, the account would get blocked on the suspicion of being a bot, so I added some randomization to the delays between the actions, and to the coordinates of where precisely on the buttons and links the program clicked, as well as to the keypresses when the program was typing out comments. in the end, even though at first it seemed that the bottleneck is going to be actual bandwidth of the internet connection (waiting for the page to load after the program did an action), it turned out that the REAL bottleneck are going to be those semi-randomized delays that were necessary to seem at least somewhat as an actual user. without those delays, commenting on the first 20 posts of a user took about a minute (3 or 4 seconds per post), while with all the semi-random delays that emulated an idly browsing user, it took about 3 and half minutes (about 10 seconds per post.) You're welcome.
@@MidnightSt How are you even able to create Instagram accounts? I tried multiple times to create an Instagram account without a phone number, but it's getting blocked immediately after it was created for "being a bot", although I actually registered it by hand and filled in believable information. Second, doesn't have Instagram a maximum number of actions a user can do in a certain timespan? I think, usually online platforms don't accept too many comments/likes at once or within a short time.
If she actually created scripts to automate responses and did all the photoshop why doesn't she just use these skills to make a youtube channel or get a job?
It's not good photoshopping and writing such a bad and obvious script for automating response takes like a few minutes with basic knowledge (plus she probably bought services, there are alot of fake review farms out there).

Thank you for exposing this racist woman and her mom. They are absolutely horrible people and no one should feel sorry for her. She's had ample chances to set this right.
as a black person, im deeply offended seeing this vile creature imitated our community and said something she is forbidden to. She and her mother should've been arrested for racism amongst communities and felony
A couple years ago I joined one of her Instagram lives. I ended up being able to join the live and talk to her face to face. And when I did that I was screen recording it. Basically interviewing her. I posted this video on UA-cam and boy I was surprised. Her internet mom started to pop off on me for no apparent reason. I probably said something in the comments I wouldn't know now though since the video had gotten copyrighted by Lily. I tried emailing her about the take down because I was literally in the video and she never responded. I wasn't making money from it so it was definitely in effort to take down the controversy that happened when the Primark situation happened. She is definitely trying to hide something.
My sister used to be ‘an influencer’ too and she got really crazy about her image on social media, then she got very insecure when she saw ‘other influencers’ or women who she thought more beautiful than her. Finally she decided to quit because the negative thoughts that she got from being an influencer. She still has so many followers on her inactive account thou but she really don’t want to come back.
Although this video makes it seem like lilleejean just became toxic at the end, the truth is, she's been supressing people criticizing her from the start. Her and her mom bragged about this tech guy they know that doxes people. Which is hilarious and sad tbh. Cuz it works on smaller creators and it looks pitiful when its against bigger ones.
Tbh she could’ve been a pretty decent MUA with more experience. I know she’s not the only MUA out there with reddish hair and green eyes, but she could’ve used that to her advantage.
It's astonishing that even with everyone knowing that everything is fake, she still tries to keep the facade going and silences anyone who tries to criticize her.
It’s astonishing you’re watching someone’s video that was stolen by this ass from 2019 as if it’s happening now. That my friend is what is astonishing.
With the money and time she put into buying followers, likes, that copyright and the promotion, she couldve actually gotten a lot of honestly earned followers
That's what I don't get, why go through the trouble of pretending??? Is not like it's going to be easier for her to get followers like that. Her make up skills are good, why not try it the normal way as a beauty content creator. Like why starting with such an obvious lie
Until I discovered this channel a few weeks back I had no idea who most of the people were. But some of these influencers earn millions of dollars in views and subs (Don't really know how that works) but GREED can motivate people to do some really strange things
@@julia-ho8qo the saddest part is if she had some real friends and a real support system maybe she wouldn't be trying so hard to grab at the air for internet fame. I think ppl who are happy in their life (even somewhat) wouldn't do this. It's like those people who catfish others. They never really have friends or anyone.
I'm suprised your video isn't taken down yet. I hope it isn't though, as these types of videos are incredibly insightful and I hope to see more of them. Thank you for the hard work put into this and have a great rest of your day!

My Ex was obsessed with becoming an influencer, she would buy followers, comment on her own photos with fake accounts, buy products and pretend that she was sponsored by them, etc. She wouldn’t even post photos of us together on her page as she was scared of losing followers. It’s honestly a mental illness

That's crazy. Good thing you got away
Oh god I hope you are ok now and I hope she will get her recovery from the delusion conflict
Wow , crazy !
Nah fuck anyone who won’t post you because they’re ‘scared of losing followers’
As her father is never mentioned or acknowledged I can only presume he's either absent or divorced (possibly a source of the income?) Seems so stressful and demanding just to appear famous.

she easily could have pivoted this into a huge (real) following if she claimed the whole thing was a social experiment about the artificiality of influencer culture. she had already generated a lot of interest with everyone investigating her, she could have gone fully Poppy and done something experimental like an ARG or something. anything but double down on the lie that everyone could see through.

And you’d think with her insta “fame” she would have more than like 22k subs.
Nothing. They silence smaller creators by mass flagging, harassment... I'm sure this video could've been extended to at least 40 min.

As someone who works in publishing, the font she chose to use for her fake Teen Vogue magazine is simply sad🤣
So in a nutshell, even though she photoshopped her own teen vogue cover, she still stole credit on something that she didn’t even cover up well.

Our leaders have drove out society into the ground, all the while your parents sat around and watched Netflix and gossiped about their friends. The age of shallow facades is over.

Yeah, the things about this bot farm. Mostly og the contract are actually coming from a company and brand. Not an unfamous individual
Basically you look for the element you need in the DOM via xpath, then you ask for that element's coordinates, then you send an action (click, for example, if it's a button, link or inputbox you want to focus) within those coordinates, then if it was the search bar, for example, you start sending keypress actions (which go through as "typing" into the textbox, since it's been focused by the previous click), you search for a hashtag, or a user, then you collect the results via xpath, and iterate through them, again, simulating clicks into their box, waiting for the new page to load, and either selecting the comment textbox via xpath then typing into it (if you searched for a hashtag), or using xpath to select posts (if you were searching for a specific username, thus you're now on their profile), and so on and so on.
then I found out that instagram also has some pretty cool user activity tracking, so that if my program just repeated the steps exactly each time, the account would get blocked on the suspicion of being a bot, so I added some randomization to the delays between the actions, and to the coordinates of where precisely on the buttons and links the program clicked, as well as to the keypresses when the program was typing out comments.
in the end, even though at first it seemed that the bottleneck is going to be actual bandwidth of the internet connection (waiting for the page to load after the program did an action), it turned out that the REAL bottleneck are going to be those semi-randomized delays that were necessary to seem at least somewhat as an actual user. without those delays, commenting on the first 20 posts of a user took about a minute (3 or 4 seconds per post), while with all the semi-random delays that emulated an idly browsing user, it took about 3 and half minutes (about 10 seconds per post.)
You're welcome.
