However, after Natalia Kills went off on a beloved contestant Joe Irvine, her career ended overnight. But was it all real? Was it planned by X-Factor?

Well sometimes they have to, because they could get fired by their managers/producers if they don’t. Like how some celebrities on certain labels have to say problematic things to start up publicity. Why? Because their team tells them to. And ofc if they speak up they could be punished.

Not only did she ruin her life, but the guy who she ripped to shreds on the show, fell into a deep depression, got into drugs and ruined his life. He lives in my city and my sister knows him through the party scene. He handled that situation with such grace, and it’s a shame that someone like her and her disgusting husband played the role of destroying his confidence. Such a sad story
You could even tell he was feeling horrible from it in real time like he was about to break down. The fact she went that hard on him in front of a live audience and millions of people would see this moment is way too fucked up and evil.

i've auditioned for britain's got talent twice, i can tell you it really is all set up behind the scenes. you have more success of getting on the show if you have an emotional backstory more than if you have talent or not. a lot of the less talented auditions end up built up like they're gonna go far during the stage 1 and 2 events, then they're brought on stage on TV and in front of millions and get absolutely trashed like it's a roman colosseum. i've heard from other auditionees on other shows like X factor that they used to stoke drama behind the scenes to get higher ratings, including telling other contestants that one contestant succeeded in getting through to the semis, only for them to come out in tears after not being successful, to the oblivious cheers of their fellow contestants to make them feel embarrassed

Simon's truthful, not mean. There's a huge difference. That's why people respect Simon because if you're actually good and he's impressed he'll tell you honestly. He doesn't say it to tear you down, he says it because nobody else will which is actually more loving than telling someone that they're good but they're really not.
Remember, Simon signed Susan Boyle to his record label when nobody else would. He recognised talent regardless of looks. He's never mocked anyone that didn't deserve to be mocked. That's why he's still employed and rich.

Regarding at 7:15 & 8:30 , it reminds me a lot of a viral X Factor UK audition from Zoe Alexander, in 2012, Zoe auditioned as a Pink tribute act, and had 2 songs, but she threw a "temper tantrum" on stage and was made a laughing stock, even saying "you told me to sing a Pink song, I didn't want to sing a Pink song", and later revealed that, behind the scenes, she was told to be a "Pink tribute act" by a staff member and they purposely messed her around so she'd make a fool out of herself and get a reaction and boost ratings. I can kind of believe them in saying that it might've been staged for views.

I watched a season of one of these singing competition shows during COVID and it was so obvious that the judges were looking to create stories and drama, and trying to weed out contestants who couldn't be used to increase the ratings. Luckily the guy who won was clearly the best singer, but it was frustrating seeing the whole charade. They had one girl's father constantly acting like a buffoon for the cameras. Embarrassing to say the least.
As a world we’ve decided that drama and strife are the most important things for some reason. No one likes and respects a decent person.

I’m from New Zealand and no one knew who Natalia Kills or her husband Willy Moon were before X-Factor. They were manufactured celebrities whose role was to play the villain of the show for better ratings. People didn’t understand that it was all an act for TV. They were so hated that the producers fired them so it wouldn’t affect the shows ratings. I feel kind of bad for them because they were just doing what the producers told them to do, only to be discarded and scapegoated for the show’s failure. They were both aspiring artists who thought being on X-Factor would be their big break, but it essentially ruined their careers

As somebody who worked for "reality" shows like Big Brother, X-factor and The Voice, when you see in the end credits "director" and "producer", you have to be sure they are there to direct and produce not only the crew ; )

It's highly suggested that the studio told them to be vicious "Simon Cowell" types for drama, probably promising that the exposure would boost their careers and their "bullying" could make them popular like Simon, but when the "drama" backfired the studio threw the couple under the bus.
There are countless videos online exposing x factor for intentionally setting contestants up to fail, be ridiculed and even to succeed.

So idk if you know but there’s these Fortnite streamers that prerecord “vbuck giveaways” on multiple channels at once, I think one of them is called bobux and you can really find a ton of them. They say “guess a Fortnite skin I don’t have and you win vbucks” and every 5 seconds they pretend that someone asks them what they would do if someone donated. I think it would be a very interesting vid for you to make. Also love the vids ❤

This reminds me a Lot of what happened to that one judge on the first season of Canada's ru Paul drag race.
Prior to that, he was Seen as an attractive dude with a nice enough demeanor, especially when he'd been a guest on a previous north American season of the show, but being a full time judge and trashing so many people and their looks even when he was objectively wrong, pretty much tanked his popularity for a few years at least.

To be fair, I never even heard about them before this happened plus with X-Factor I wouldn’t be surprised they staged this, it wouldn’t be the first time they did this. They also bullied Zoey Alexander and publicly humiliated her on national television.

The oddest thing I see from cases like this is that the simple solution tends not to happen when it comes to online hate campaigns, which is, just turn off social media. The more you try to keep appearing online, the more it will come. So if that's the case, why not just... stop appearing online? Just turn off social media, it's not that hard.

I find it difficult to have anything against them based on a scene from X-Factor alone. X-Factor is one of, if not the most, rigged shows out there and previously we've found out how they lock everyone in with contracts that aren't very easy to navigate. So, I'll take these kinds of things with a grain of salt. That's just my opinion though.
