So true…for any parent, there is line between parental support and parental enmeshment, healthy self esteem and narcissism/self aggrandizement, “fake it to you make it”/self promotion and outright lies, and a balance between “follow your dreams” and “is this a realistic career, that actually pays you?”
And it is a huge red flag when the response to reasonable questions is threats, declaring everyone a hater or jealous of your awesomeness - a very immature response compared to just addressing the actual question.
And criticism isn’t inherently evil. I work in technical writing and generally got “great job!” on projects, but once when I had a new, temporary supervisor, one of my drafts had multiple edits and tips….that were totally right and I use to this day.

2024 update on Lillee Jean: Her YT channel is basically her posting audition reels trying to get into the Film and TV industry. By the looks of it, it’s not going great and it doesn’t look like she’s stopping.
I used to be friends with someone who was almost exactly like this. She had a very fake over-the-top niceness, acted like a princess on a pedestal and was treated as such by her helicopter parents, and would always accuse anyone who questioned anything she did of bullying her. I think when you’ve been very coddled by your parents you go into the real world expecting to receive more than your fair share, and experience a sense of loneliness when you don’t get end up getting it. So you go to desperate lengths to make people like you, or at least make it SEEM like people like you.

Home schooling didn't help this child. She seems hollow - probably from lack of peer interaction in her life. It is almost as though she thinks watching TV and mimicking acting makes her the person she wants/claims to be.
I was homeschooled myself and had plenty of peer interaction. Whoever homeschooled her (likely her mum) did a shit job and probably thinks that homeschooling means holing up your child inside. 24/7

Oh god my school had this one random rich girl like this. She had a stage name and her parents paid for music videos and she acted like she was famous. Out of curiosity, I had to check if that Lillee person was still around, and oh, the horror! She still is, and acting as if nothing has happened. Literally, non-stop, same dribble. In the case of Lily, her mom seems incredibly unstable and obsessive about her. She could’ve easily robbed her of social activities by just refusing to send her to them.

So…checking back in on her…her Instagram account still comes across as totally fake. She’s managed to progress nowhere as far as her “modeling” capabilities are concerned. The photographs are clearly taken by a photographer who is clueless as well as a model (Miss Lillee herself) who’s even more clueless. The smiles she has pasted on her mug are completely wrong in helping to launch her toward true “success”.
